*** During the two-year Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip (October 7, 2023-October 13, 2025), world governments were either active participant and accomplices of the genocide, or watched passively, without taking any actions to Stop it. *** A Palestinian Killed, 8 Injured by the Israeli occupation forces, Which Brought the death toll in the Gaza Strip to 72,073 and the Injuries to 171, 749 by February 23, 2026 *** Note about the number of Palestinians, who were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the Wet Bank: The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS), and Al-Dhameer Association for Human Rights stated in a report issued Sunday that the total number of kidnappings of Palestinians in the West Bank, since the start of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, has risen to more than 18,500, including over 570 women and about 1,500 children. Source: Palestine Information Center, August 10, 2025. *** Note About the Missing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip: On February 26, 2025, the Palestinian Center for Political and Development Studies announced that the number of the missing in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,000 people, including 2,000-3,000 held in Israeli occupation prisons, without releasing any information on their fate. *** ***
*** *** ý Impacts and Aspects of the Israeli Genocidal War on the Gaza Strip*** Unprecedented orphan crisis in Gaza leaves tens of thousands of children without family support Saturday 21-February-2026 GAZA, (PIC) Nearly 40,000 children in Gaza have lost one or both parents in what UNICEF has described as the largest orphan crisis in modern history, leaving a generation struggling without family support in the aftermath of Israel’s two-year genocide. Amid devastated infrastructure and ongoing insecurity, these children face severe psychological and physical hardship. A report aired by Al Jazeera highlighted the human toll, featuring a grandmother caring for her orphaned grandchildren who still wait by the window for their mother to return. “They feel the huge emptiness,” she said. “We try to make up for it as much as we can.” Another child described taking responsibility for four siblings and cousins after his parents were killed. “Life is very difficult,” he said, adding that no one can replace a mother’s or father’s affection. UNICEF regional spokesperson Salim Oweis said official figures likely underestimate the scale of the tragedy. More than 3,000 children have lost both parents, many after direct strikes on homes and neighborhoods. Some have been left permanently disabled. Oweis said efforts are focused on reunifying children with extended family members and providing psychological and financial support, but needs far exceed available resources. UNRWA media adviser Adnan Abu Hasna said 94 percent of Gaza’s schools have been completely destroyed. Limited education has resumed through temporary schools and tent classrooms serving about 300,000 children, including 70,000 attending in person. Orphaned children are being prioritized for medical, psychological and social care, he said, but shortages of classrooms, supplies and winter clothing remain acute. Although active fighting has ended, the impact of Israel’s genocide, launched in October 2023, continues to define the lives of hundreds of thousands of children who have lost limbs, senses or family members, becoming long-term victims of war, blockade and deprivation. *** UN warns of rising fire risks in displacement camps in Gaza Sunday 22-February-2026 GAZA, (PIC) The United Nations has warned that displaced Palestinian families living in overcrowded camps inside the Gaza Strip continue to face high risks of fires, alongside worsening health threats, amid the ongoing need for safer and more suitable housing solutions. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said on Saturday that many families are forced to cook, sleep, and store their belongings in cramped spaces where open flames are used, noting that at least 12 fire incidents have been recorded in shelters since last November. It added that within just ten days of February, humanitarian workers managed to provide shelter for 85 families in Dair El-Bala'h and Khan Younus, after their shelters were damaged by a fire that broke out in Gaza City. *** Abuse of Palestinian prisoners escalates during Ramadhan By Al-Mayadeen February 23, 2026 Hamas warns of worsening conditions for Palestinian prisoners during Ramadan as over 100 arrests are reported across the West Bank. A Hamas official has accused Israeli prison authorities of intensifying abuse against Palestinian detainees during the holy month of Ramadan, particularly inside the Negev prison, warning of serious consequences if conditions continue to deteriorate. Ma'hmoud Mardawi, a leader in Hamas, said the escalating mistreatment, medical neglect, and deprivation of basic necessities such as food and water form part of what he described as an official policy aimed at breaking prisoners’ will and undermining their resilience. Rising concerns over prison conditions Mardawi stated that Israeli authorities bear full responsibility for the repercussions of what he called a dangerous escalation, especially regarding elderly and ill prisoners, cautioning that the situation inside prisons could escalate if abuses persist. He stressed that such repressive measures would not succeed in subduing detainees, arguing instead that they would reinforce their steadfastness, adding that prisoners remain a symbol of dignity and resistance for the Palestinian people. Mardawi also called on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, occupied Jerusalem, and the 1948 territories, as well as supporters across the region, to intensify public and grassroots activities in solidarity with prisoners and their families during what he described as difficult circumstances. 100+ detained since start of Ramadhan The Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS) said Sunday that Israeli occupation forces have detained more than 100 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank since the beginning of Ramadan, including women, children, and former prisoners, as part of a deliberate intensification of detention campaigns timed to coincide with the Muslim holy month. In a statement released Sunday, PPS said the latest wave of detentions spans most West Bank governorates, with al-Quds among the most affected, where raids have frequently ended in the forcible expulsion of worshipers from Al-Aqsa Mosque. The group noted that Israeli authorities had themselves announced an acceleration in detention operations at the start of Ramadan, with recent settler attacks providing political cover for the expanded campaign. Since the beginning of "Israel's" war on Gaza in October 2023, approximately 22,000 Palestinians have been detained across the West Bank, PPS said. A figure that reflects one of the most sustained and historically consistent policies of collective repression carried out against Palestinian civilians. A pattern of abuse and collective punishment The statement detailed a recurring pattern of violations accompanying detentions, including severe beatings, organized violence against detainees and their families, vandalism and destruction of homes, theft of vehicles, cash, and jewelry, demolition of prisoners' family homes, and the use of detainees as human shields. The Prisoners' Society also flagged the conduct of field interrogations, stressing that the abuse inflicted during these sessions is "no less severe" than that which accompanies formal detention. The group further condemned the use of detention campaigns as a tool to advance Israeli settlement expansion in the West Bank, with settlers serving as enforcers of a new territorial reality, particularly in the wake of moves toward formal annexation. These conditions align with broader documentation by human rights organizations. B'Tselem and Physicians for Human Rights–Israel have reported catastrophic conditions inside Israeli detention facilities, including systematic torture, malnutrition, denial of medical care, and the deaths of at least 75 to 98 Palestinians in Israeli custody since October 2023. *** ****** Gaza: Death toll climbs to 72,073 martyrs Monday 23-February-2026 GAZA, (PIC) The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which started on October 7, 2023, has surged to 72,073 martyrs, according to the health ministry on Monday morning. The ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 171,749 people. In its daily report, the Health Ministry said that hospitals received one civilian body, and eight wounded people over the past 24 hours. Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, at least 615 Palestinians have been killed, and 1,651 others have been injured. *** Palestinian woman killed by Israeli gunfire in Gaza Sunday 22-February-2026 GAZA, (PIC) A Palestinian woman was martyred by Israeli gunfire in northern Gaza on Sunday, amid ongoing ceasefire violations in different areas of the war-ravaged coastal enclave. Palestinian media sources reported that 27‑year‑old Basma Banat was killed after being shot by Israeli forces near the square of Beit Lahia town in northern Gaza. Meanwhile, eyewitnesses reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the eastern areas of Rafah in southern Gaza. Israeli armored vehicles also opened heavy fire towards the eastern parts of Khan Yunis, while gunboats fired at the city’s shoreline. In Gaza City, warplanes launched raids on eastern neighborhoods, amid concurrent artillery shelling in the area. Overnight, Israeli forces carried out demolitions in the eastern part of the Gaza Strip, while also targeting areas sheltering displaced people. *** Two Palestinians killed, four others injured in Israeli attacks in Gaza Saturday 21-February-2026 GAZA, (PIC) Two Palestinian citizens were martyred and four others were injured in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, amid other ceasefire violations persisting for the 133rd consecutive day in different areas of the war-ravaged coastal enclave. A medical source said that a civilian identified as Osama an-Najjar, 46, was killed following a strike from an Israeli drone in the Qizan El-Najjar area, south of Khan Younus in southern Gaza. Another young citizen, Majid Abul-Awf, was killed after being targeted by a bomb dropped by an Israeli drone in Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza. A young woman was also injured in the neck by Israeli gunfire near the Holy Family Church east of Gaza City. Meanwhile, three other citizens were wounded by Israeli gunfire in Gaza City’s El-Shuja’iya neighborhood. Earlier in the morning, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter said that Israeli armored vehicles opened fire in the east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza and towards the northern areas of Gaza City, amid artillery fire targeting Gaza City’s El-Tuffa'h neighborhood. Israeli aircraft also carried out an airstrike east of Khan Younus, as gunboats heavily opened fire towards the city’s coastal waters. On Friday, a citizen was martyred after an Israeli quadcopter dropped a bomb on his tent in northern Gaza, while a child was injured by Israeli gunfire in the 'Halawa displacement camp in Jabalya town. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Journalists union blames Israel for reporter’s critical condition as Jerusalem journalist released under restrictions Monday 23-February-2026 El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate has held the Israeli occupation apartheid regime fully responsible for the severe deterioration in the health of freed journalist Mujahid Bani Mufli'h, who remains in critical condition after his release from Israeli detention. In a statement, the syndicate said Bani Mufli'h, 36, was rushed to the Istishari Hospital in Ramallah one day after his release following seven months in Israeli prisons, where he was subjected to deliberate medical neglect, inappropriate medication, torture and systematic starvation. Doctors later diagnosed him with a brain hemorrhage. He has remained in intensive care for more than a month. The union called on international organizations, including the International Federation of Journalists, to open an urgent investigation into what it described as a deliberate and systematic targeting of Palestinian journalists. In a separate development, Israeli authorities on Sunday released Jerusalem-based journalist Nisreen Salim El-'Abd under restrictive conditions. According to her lawyer, the court ordered her placed under 10 days of house arrest, banned her from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 180 days and prohibited her from using social media or any communication devices during the house arrest period. She was also required to post bail of 2,000 shekels (about $640). Al-Abed was arrested last week while carrying out her journalistic work in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), and her detention had been extended twice before the court approved her conditional release. * **IOF raid homes, kidnap several Palestinians in the West Bank Monday 23-February-2026 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) ransacked several homes and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and on Monday morning. According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped three young men from Teqoa town in the southeast of Bethlehem, and two others from the towns of Huwara and Asira ash‑Shamaliya in Nablus province. Two other young men were taken prisoner during IOFs raids in El-Khaleel City and El-Fawwar refugee camp, south of El-Khaleel. The IOFs reportedly closed several roads in different areas of El-Khaleel Province in the morning. In Nablus, Israeli forces continued their repressive practices by forcing storeowners in the town of 'Huwwara to close their businesses at gunpoint. In Jenin, Israeli forces kidnaped a young man from Ya’bad town. Al‑Baidar Human Rights Organization also reported that Israeli forces kidnaped six Palestinians after extremist Jewish settlers stormed the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley and assaulted them. Al-Baidar said that Bardala villagers were defending themselves and their sheep pens after settlers attacked the village. Meanwhile, Asra Media Office said that the IOF kidnaped at least nine citizens, including teenagers, following raids on homes in different West Bank areas. In Toulkarm, Israeli troops stormed the city’s Iktaba suburb, spread in its streets, and intercepted citizens and cars for security checks. The IOFs also carried out raids in other West Bank areas, with no reported arrests. In a separate incident, an Israeli court issued a ruling on Sunday ordering the immediate demolition of a two‑story Palestinian home in the town of El‑Khadhir, west of Bethlehem, under the pretext of building without a permit. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Illegal gal Israeli settlers torch a mosque’s entrance, in the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus, and vandalize an olive grove in the West Bank Monday 23-February-2026 WEST BANK, (PIC) A horde of of the illegal Israeli settlers set fire to a mosque in the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, at dawn Monday. Footage published by Palestinian media shows the charred entrance of the Abu Bakr al-Siddiq Mosque, and the Hebrew phrases “revenge” and “price tag” spray-painted in black on the outer wall. According to local sources, the fire was set at the mosque’s entrance area, damaging its gate and exterior before villagers managed to extinguish the flames. The Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs strongly condemned the Israeli arson attack on Abu Bakr al‑Siddiq Mosque in the village of Tell. The ministry said that extremist settler groups in the West Bank operate under the protection of Israeli forces, adding that they attacked 45 mosques last year. In another incident, a group of settlers felled about 21 olive trees, each more than 50 years old, in the Marj Siʿa plain area, which is located between the villages of Abu Fala'h and al‑Mughayir, northeast of Ramallah City. Local sources said that the olive grove belongs to a Palestinian citizen from the village of Abu Fala'h. On Sunday evening, an extremist settler broke into a Palestinian citizen’s home in the Masafir Yatta area, south of the occupied West Bank. A social media video shows the settler wandering among Bedouin dwellings made of tents and metal sheets before storming one of the homes with his donkey, in a scene reflecting the scale of violations faced by Masafir Yatta residents. Local activist Osama Makhamra explained that the settler stormed the Khirbet El‑Rakeez community with his donkey and sheep, breaking into residents’ homes and violating their privacy. Makhamra noted that the targeted dwelling belongs to Mohamed an‑Najjar, who faces daily harassment from settlers releasing their livestock in and around his home and other houses and vandalizing swaths of cultivated land belonging to the Bedouin community. *** Illegal Israeli settlers' attacks escalating in West Bank and El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Sunday 22-February-2026 WEST BANK, (PIC) Several areas across the West Bank and El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) witnessed a new surge in settler attacks on Sunday, targeting agricultural land, Bedouin communities, and herders, as part of ongoing efforts to pressure Palestinian residents and force them off their land. In Ramallah, groups of settlers fenced off large areas of agricultural land in the town of Ni’lin, particularly in the Jabal al-Alam area and its surroundings. Local sources reported that armed settlers stormed the area and began installing fencing to consolidate control over the land. The area has already been affected by a settler outpost established nearly a year and a half ago and has faced repeated attacks aimed at altering its character and seizing it. In El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), settlers raided the Bedouin community of Bir al-Maskoub 1, near the town of al-Eizariya east of the city. They carried out provocative tours among residents’ homes and photographed young men in an attempt to intimidate the local population. The actions are part of a broader, systematic policy targeting Bedouin communities around Jerusalem, aimed at depriving them of basic living conditions and pushing them toward forced displacement to facilitate settlement expansion. In the northern Jordan Valley, settlers have continued targeting Palestinians’ livelihoods by pursuing livestock herders and forcing them, under threat, to leave grazing areas in Khirbet Samra. The Jordan Valley has seen a dangerous escalation in recent days, leading to the displacement of around twenty families from the communities of al-Burj and al-Maita due to sustained pressure and repeated attacks intended to clear the area of its Palestinian residents in favor of settlers. *** =============================================================================================================================== ÈöÓúãö Çááåö ÇáÑøóÍúãóÜٰäö ÇáÑøóÍöíãö "ãöäú ÃóÌúáö Ðóٰáößó ßóÊóÈúäóÇ Úóáóìٰ Èóäöí ÅöÓúÑóÇÆöíáó Ãóäøóåõ ãóäú ÞóÊóáó äóÝúÓðÇ ÈöÛóíúÑö äóÝúÓò Ãóæú ÝóÓóÇÏò Ýöí ÇáúÃóÑúÖö ÝóßóÃóäøóãóÇ ÞóÊóáó ÇáäøóÇÓó ÌóãöíÚðÇ" (ÇáúãóÇÆöÏóÉõ ¡ 5: 32). In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise comes, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.
