While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Gaza death toll nears 45,600 as Israel kills 28 more Palestinians

Over 108,400 Palestinians injured in Israeli onslaught since Oct. 7, 2023, Gaza’s Health Ministry says

By Ahmed Asmar, 02.01.2025

ANKARA

At least 28 more Palestinians were killed in relentless Israeli genocidal attacks on the Gaza Strip, bringing the overall death toll since October 2023 to 45,581, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Thursday.

A Ministry statement added that some 108,438 others were injured in the ongoing assault.

The Israeli occupation forces killed 28 people and injured 59 others in two massacres of families in the last 24 hours, the ministry said.

“Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

Israel has continued a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since a 'Hamas attack on Oct. 7, 2023, despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire.

The second year of genocide in Gaza has drawn growing international condemnation, with officials and institutions labeling the attacks and blocking of aid deliveries as a deliberate attempt to destroy a population.

In November, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its deadly war on Gaza.

Note: These figures only include the dead and injured Palestinians who have  been accounted for by the Palestinian hospitals. The victims who are not carried to the hospitals are not accounted for.

Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters Day 454

Thursday 2-January-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 454th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Thursday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring a number of citizens.

The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has entered day 90, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area.

Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services.

Citizens Sha'ban Abu Khatir and Abdul 'Hameed Al-'Haddad were killed this morning in an Israeli attack on a group of citizens in Bani Suhayla, east of Khan Younus.

In a similar attack, 11 citizens were killed, and 15 others were injured in an Israeli bombing of a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of  Khan Younus, early today.

Two brothers were also killed in an Israeli attack in northern Gaza, while the Israeli artillery bombed the western areas of the Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

IOFs assassinate Gaza police chief and his assistant

Thursday 2-January-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) assassinated the Gaza Strip police chief, Ma'hmoud Sala'h, and his assistant, 'Husam Shahwan, at dawn Thursday, the Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security in Gaza said.

It added that the IOFs targeted the police chief and his assistant while performing their national and humanitarian duty in service of the people in Khan Younus, in southern Gaza Strip. The ministry pointed out that the IOFs raid killed a number of other civilians.

It accused the IOFs of deliberately targeting Gaza senior officials to entrench chaos and deepen the humanitarian crisis in the beleaguered enclave.

The Ministry underlined that Sala'h had served in the Gaza police force for 30 years and was appointed as its chief six years ago, adding that his assistant had also served the police force with loyalty for years.

The Ministry vowed that it would not back down from serving the Palestinian people regardless of sacrifices and challenges, adding that the Israeli occupation state would not succeed in “destroying the steadfastness of our people.”

New testimonies from Gaza detainees reveal horrific conditions in Israeli prisons

RAMALLAH, January 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) and the Palestinian Authority's Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs have released new testimonies from Gaza detainees incarcerated in Al-Naqab (Negev) Prison, all of which affirm Israel's use of torture as a weapon of war.

These accounts shed light on the brutality and systematic torture faced by detainees, reflecting the extreme violence and dehumanization they endure at the hands of Israeli forces.

The testimonies also highlight the ongoing health crisis within the prisons, particularly the spread of scabies, which is being used as a form of torture.

The majority of detainees interviewed reported their bodies being covered in sores and boils due to the scabies infection. Several detainees appeared visibly shivering, especially those housed in the tents section of the prison, where freezing temperatures exacerbate their suffering.

These detainees continue to endure unimaginable conditions, having been subjected to torture, humiliation, and severe deprivation since their detention.

The Commission and the PPS emphasized that these testimonies are part of a larger set of accounts, all of which reflect a consistent pattern of violent abuse, specifically targeting Gaza detainees.

The testimonies come at a time when the number of fatalities among Palestinian prisoners continues to rise, particularly those from Gaza, with 54 confirmed victims since the start of the ongoing Israeli genocide. Many other detainees, particularly from Gaza, remain unaccounted for and are feared to have been killed under mysterious circumstances.

One detainee recounted his horrific experience during his detention in March 2024. Known only by his initials (M.R.), he was detained in Sheikh Zayed City and subjected to relentless torture from the very moment of his detention.

He described being shackled, blindfolded, and denied movement for 24 hours a day. During the interrogation, he endured severe physical abuse, and at one point, he was coerced into signing a fabricated confession.

The detainee revealed that the spread of scabies continues to torment the prisoners at the Negev Prison, with many unable to sleep due to intense itching and rashes.

Another detainee (M.H.) shared a similarly harrowing account of his time in detention. Detained at the Kamal Adwan Hospital, he was subjected to brutal physical abuse, including a full day of continuous beatings, followed by degrading acts like being drenched in sewage and urine.

His detention continued for 27 days in deplorable conditions, where he was kept kneeling, shackled, and blindfolded. He described the feeling of "living death" in the Naqab Prison, where conditions are so dire that it feels like a slow, agonizing end.

Several detainees also reported the constant presence of scabies among the prisoners, with many of them covered in painful boils and rashes. Detainees have not received adequate treatment for the disease, leaving them in constant agony. One of the detainees, (H.R.), who was detained in November 2024, described how they were subjected to hot water torture, and later transferred to the Negev Prison, where the health crisis only worsened due to the spread of scabies.

The stories of suffering continue with detainee (A.N.), who stated that the conditions in prison are so unbearable that death would be a relief. He described the freezing cold, insufficient clothing, lack of food, and the devastating impact of the scabies outbreak, which has claimed the health of many detainees.

Detainee (J.S.) recounted his ongoing struggle with scabies, with his entire body covered in sores. He mentioned that he can no longer walk or stand due to the extreme pain and further health complications resulting from the torturous conditions.

He also recalled the suffering of martyr Ashraf Abu Warda, who passed away on December 29, 2024. Abu Warda had been in the same cell as him and had been severely affected by the harsh conditions, losing his ability to speak, remember, and even stand before his death.

In another account, detainee (S.A.) revealed how prison authorities deliberately confiscate mattresses in the morning and return them only at night, sometimes delaying their return until midnight, subjecting the detainees to freezing temperatures.

Illegal Israeli settlers bulldoze Palestinian land south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), January 2, 2025 (WAFA) -

A hoard of the illegal Israeli settlers bulldozed on Thursday large swathes of Palestinian citizens' lands in Masafir Yatta area, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), according to a local activist.

Activist Osama Makhamra said that the colonists bulldozed vast areas of land in the Sada Al-Tha'la, in an apparent prelude to seizing it for the benefit of colonial expansion.

Illegal Israeli settlers storm Kifl 'Haris under Israeli military protection

SALFEET, January 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

Last night, dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers, accompanied by Israeli occupation forces, stormed the town of Kifl 'Haris in the Salfeet governorate, located in the central West Bank.

Local sources reported that the colonists stormed the town to perform Talmudic rituals at Islamic shrines in the town. During the incursion, they attacked residents' homes and vehicles, causing significant damage and sparking anger among the local population.

Earlier in the evening, Israeli forces had raided the town, shutting the iron gate at its entrance. They compelled shop owners to close their businesses and restricted residents' movement to facilitate the colonists' entry.

This incident adds to a series of repeated violations targeting local communities, heightening tensions in the area and raising concerns about the protection of Palestinian lives.

IOFs demolish a detainee’s West Bank home

Thursday 2-January-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) demolished at dawn Thursday the home of a Palestinian detainee accused of carrying out an attack on Israeli troops in the West Bank.

Local sources said that about 30 military vehicles and two bulldozers raided Bal’a town, in Tulkarem, and surrounded a house in the western neighborhood of the town.

The house belonged to Mu'hammed Talal Abu Yaseen, who has been in Israeli custody since January of last year.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime regularly demolish the family homes of Palestinian detainees accused of carrying out anti-occupation operations, in what human rights groups say is a policy of “collective punishment” that may amount to war crimes.

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque and perform Talmudic rituals in its courtyards

Thursday 2-January-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) , (PIC)

Dozens of the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday morning and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards, under heavy protection by the Israeli occupation regime police forces.

The settlers entered Al-Aqsa in successive groups from the Maghariba Gate, conducting provocative tours and performing Talmudic rituals in the Mosque’s courtyards.

In a serious violation, a settler placed Tefillin prayer boxes on his head and prayed inside Al-Aqsa Mosque under the guard of the Israeli occupation forces. Rabbi Yisrael Shalit also led public prayers and calls following the storming of the Mosque.

The Israeli occupation forces tightened their military measures around the Old City of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, obstructing the entry of Palestinian citizens.

Recently, the Mosque witnessed settlers’ breaches of its courtyards with dancing, singing, and parties during the past days of the so-called “Hanukkah” holiday, especially in the eastern area near the Bab Al-Ra'hmah prayer area.

These incursions come after incitement calls from alleged Temple groups to organize widespread incursions under the pretext of the Hanukkah holiday, which began on December 26 and lasted for a full week, during which large-scale incursions and Talmudic rituals were organized.

On the first day of Hanukkah last Thursday, the Israeli Minister of National Security, the extremist Ben Gvir, led the settlers’ storming of Al-Aqsa courtyards.

On the other hand, Palestinian calls have intensified to increase presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque to protect it from the settlers’ plans and the policies of the occupation government aimed at controlling it.

Israeli occupation forces demolish home of a Palestinian detainee in Toulkarm

Toulkarm, January 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces demolished the home of Mu'hammed Talal Fareed Abu Yaseen, a Palestinian detainee in Israeli prisons, last night in the town of Bal’a, east of Toulkarm.

WAFA correspondent reported that around 30 military vehicles accompanied by two bulldozers broke into the town and surrounded the targeted house in the western neighborhood of Bal’a before proceeding with the demolition.

The house, a two-story building with an additional storage space, was home to Abu Yaseen and his family. The family had been forced to evacuate after receiving a demolition notice last week. The notice also warned of a ban on rebuilding on the site.

Abu Yaseen was detained by Israeli occupation forces in January 2024 from his residence.

The Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission has reported that Israeli authorities carried out 52 demolitions in November 2024, targeting 63 structures, including 27 inhabited homes, two uninhabited buildings, and 17 agricultural facilities.

The demolition is part of a broader practice by Israeli occupation authorities to target the homes of Palestinians accused of involvement in attacks. Such measures have been widely condemned by human rights organizations as collective punishment, a violation of international law under the Fourth Geneva Convention.

The demolition of Abu Yassin’s home adds to the ongoing tensions and hardships faced by Palestinian families under occupation.

Al-Quds Brigades reveals Israeli captive tried to take his own life

Thursday 2-January-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The spokesman for Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, Abu 'Hamza, revealed that an Israeli captive had tried to take his own life before he was rescued.

Abu 'Hamza said via his Telegram channel on Thursday, “Three days ago, one of our medical teams dealt with a case of attempted suicide among Israeli captives held at one of the Al-Quds Brigades’ security groups.”

He pointed out that the medical team managed to save the prisoner’s life after he attempted suicide due to his psychological state after the Israeli government set new conditions that led to the failure and delay of an imminent prisoner swap deal.

Abu 'Hamza affirmed that the captive who attempted suicide was scheduled to be released along with other prisoners under the conditions of the first phase of the exchange deal.

He pointed out that as a result of this incident, Al-Quds Brigades issued a decision to tighten security and safety measures for holding the Israeli captives.

Palestinian sources revealed that Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu recently set new conditions that hindered the implementation of the first phase of a deal that includes a truce and an exchange of prisoners followed by a comprehensive ceasefire.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
