In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

The victims who are not carried to the hospitals are not accounted for. *** Gaza: Death toll surges to 45,553 martyrs Wednesday 1-January-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Wednesday that the Israeli army committed two massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 48 hours, and killed and injured at least 53 civilians, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads. In a statement, the health ministry explained that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but at least 12 martyrs and 41 wounded citizens arrived at hospitals. The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks climbed to 45,553 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 108,379 people. The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7, 2023. Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities. *** Israeli drone strike on Gaza neighborhood kills two Palestinians, injures others GAZA, January 1, 2025 (WAFA) – An Israeli military drone airstrike on Al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, Wednesday killed two Palestinians and injured others, according to local sources. They said that an Israeli army drone carried out an airstrike targeting an apartment on the Mushtaha Street in the neighborhood, claiming the lives of two civilians and injuring several others. They added that Israeli drones opened gunfire towards civilians in Al-Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood, west of the city, resulting in several casualties. Earlier today, an Israeli army drone conducted an airstrike targeting a gathering of people in Al-Manara neighborhood, southeast of Khan Younus city, in the southern Strip, claiming the lives of three civilians and injuring several others. This came as Israeli fighter jets targeted a plot of land in Al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood, at a time when a Quadcopter drone continued to open gunfire towards the east of the Al-Shuja'iyya and Sha‘af neighborhoods since the early morning hours. Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafa'h, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention. Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 45,553 Palestinians and injuring over 108,379 others. Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip. Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children. The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba. K.F. *** Israeli airstrikes on central and northern Gaza kill 17, injure others GAZA, January 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli airstrikes on Al-Buraij refugee camp and Jabalya town in the central and northern Gaza Strip dawn Wednesday killed at least 17 Palestinians and injured others, according to WAFA correspondent. He said that Israeli fighter jets targeted a house in Jabalya in the northern war-torn Strip, claiming the lives of at least 15 Palestinian civilians, mostly children. He added that Israeli fighter jets also pounded a house in the Al-Buraij refugee camp, killing two civilians. Meanwhile, the occupation forces blew up residential blocks in Bait Lahya town and Jabalya refugee camp and their environs in the northern Strip, at a time when Israeli tanks shelled the northwestern area of Gaza City as well as the southeastern neighborhoods of Al-Buraij refugee camp. K.F. *** The Israeli occupation regime forces massacre more civilians in Gaza on first day of new year Wednesday 1-January-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation regime army started the new year with a new massacre in Jabalya in northern Gaza, killing and injuring a number of Palestinian civilians at dawn, on Wednesday. According to local sources, an Israeli warplane bombed a house belonging to the family of Tarroush in Jabalya Al-Balad, killing at least eight people, mostly children, and injuring others. The Israeli occupation regime army also carried out aerial attacks on other areas in northern Gaza, the most isolated and heavily destroyed part of the coastal territory, where Israel has been waging a major operation since early October 2024. A warplane reportedly bombed a water desalination facility in Jabalya Al-Balad. Another Israeli genocidal strike on Tuesday night on Al-Buraij refugee camp in central Gaza killed a woman and a child. Days of heavy rain have already flooded hundreds of makeshift shelters across the Strip, piling more misery on displaced Palestinians as Israel continues to massacre and displace civilians, and restrict the entry of humanitarian aid. *** Gaza: Heavy rains flood over 1542 tents in displacement camps Wednesday 1-January-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Gaza’s civil defense service stated that the displaced families in the war-torn coastal enclave have faced new living difficulties as a result of the cold and rainy weather, and announced that about 1,542 tents in displacement camps have been submerged in rainwater for nearly half a meter and cannot be used. In a statement on Tuesday, the civil defense said that its rescue teams checked hundreds of tents that were under more than 30 centimeters of water and found that many of the displaced people were shivering with cold as their clothes and all their belongings got wet. The displaced families in the affected areas, especially in Dair El-Bala'h, Rafa'h, Khan Younus and Gaza City, spent a harsh night after their tents were swallowed by rainwater or blown away by strong winds. In a related context, UNRWA said on Tuesday that heavy rain in Gaza caused extensive damage and flooded over 100 tents in Khan Younus, south of the enclave. “Around 500 families still live along the Gaza shoreline. Displaced people, already living through the unlivable due to the war, are now battling heavy rainstorms,” UNRWA added in a statement. UNRWA called for providing Gaza with more and regular humanitarian assistance to help its displaced people stay warm this winter. *** Sick Palestinian prisoners face double suffering in the Israeli occupation regime prison in Al-Naqab (Negev), during cold winter Tuesday 31-December-2024 WEST BANK, (PIC) The sick prisoners in the Israeli occupation regime prisons, especially in Al-Naqab (Negev) desert prison, are facing double suffering during the cold winter, in light of imposed penalties and restrictions on prisoners by prison administrations, which amount to humanitarian crimes. Palestinian prisoners in the Negev prison are languishing in extremely harsh health and detention conditions, as they are exposed to all forms of abuse and repression. The human rights organizations concerned with prisoners reported that the Negev prisoners are deprived of simplest living essentials, noting that the prison administration has recently removed all windows’ glass, allowing cold air into prisoners ’rooms, amid shortage of blankets and winter clothes, exacerbating their ordeal. Following visits to the Negev prison by their lawyers, the prisoners organizations reviewed a number of pathological cases among the detainees of the prison, including detainee Ala-uddeen Al-Isdoudi, 47, from the city of Tulkarem, who was sentenced to eight years and suffers from a weak heart muscle. Al-Isdoudi underwent medical examinations before October 7, 2023, and was then transferred to Soroka Hospital, where it was found that he suffers from a weak heart muscle with a 46% percentage, high blood fat, and stomach ulcers. He was also infected months ago with Scabies. Prisoner Khalil Zaaqiq, 21, from the town of Bait Ummar in Al-Khalil, suffers from a nervous condition with loss of consciousness and muscle cramps, a condition he experienced after he was hit on his head at the hands of Israeli occupation soldiers at his arrest time in 2020. The prison administration gives him medicines that keep him almost asleep. Za'aqiq also suffers from a swelling in the genitals area for which a surgery was scheduled for him to treat a water cyst that causes him severe pain, but he could not undergo the operation because of his arrest. The prison administration deliberately neglects his health condition and refuses to provide him with the required treatment. A third captive, Tha-ir 'Asasa, 32, from the city of Jenin, has been suffering from Scabies and a swelling in the back of the head as a result of being subjected to beating inside the prison. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces *** *** Israeli occupation forces kidnap several Palestinians during West Bank raids Wednesday 1-January-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped last night and on Wednesday morning a number of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank. According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped a citizen and his two sons as well as two brothers during raids in Tammoun town. In al-Khalil, the IOFs kidnapped four citizens, including two brothers, during raids in Dura town. Four others were taken prisoners during IOFs raids in the towns of Bani Na'eem and Al-Shuyoukh, east of Al-Khaleel (Hebron). In Salfeet, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped five citizens during raids on homes in Dair Istya town and four others from 'Haris village. Seven others were kidnaped during IOFs raids in Kifl 'Haris town in Salfeet. In Toubas, the IOFs kidnapped three young men from a house in Tammoun town. The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank and bulldozed roads, amid clashes with resistance fighters in some towns. Palestinian media sources reported that resistance fighters opened fire and detonated explosive devices at Israeli forces and their vehicles in different areas of the West Bank, including in Tubas, Nablus and Jineen. Meanwhile, Israeli forces kidnapped five young men after opening fire at their vehicle near 'Azzoun town in eastern Qalqilya. Israeli occupation soldiers also savagely assaulted a young man driving a school bus at the Tayaseer checkpoint in eastern Toubas. Eyewitnesses said that soldiers intercepted a bus carrying Palestinian students from Bedouin hamlets as it was heading for schools in the Jordan Valley and beat its young driver, with no known reason. 29 kidnapped. 2 assaulted. *** Israeli occupation forces kidnap 22 Palestinians from the West Bank Al-Khaleel (Hebron), January 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Wednesday detained at least 22 Palestinians from various parts of the occupied West Bank, according to local and security sources. They said that the occupation forces rounded up four Palestinians, including two brothers, in the course of a raid in Doara town, southwest of Al-Khaleel (Hebron) City. Also in Al-Khaleel (Hebron) district, the occupation forces detained two others from Al-Shuyoukh town, northeast of Hebron, and ransacked their houses, turning them upside down. They also conducted a similar raid in Bani Na'eem town, east of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), resulting in the detention of two others. In the Salfit district, the occupation forces barged their way into Dair Istya town, searched several houses and detained five residents, including two brothers. They also conducted a raid in Hares town, northwest of Salfeet, resulting in the detention of four others. Meanwhile, a convoy of army vehicles and a bulldozer stormed Tammoun town, southeast of Tubas, where the heavily armed soldiers detained five others; a father along with his two sons and two brothers. The Israeli army force raided the town from the direction of Al-'Hamra military checkpoint, at a time when surveillance drones hovered over the town and the sounds of gunfire could be heard in the town. In the meantime, the occupation troops showed up at the houses of two brothers in Bait Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, muscled inside and conducted thorough searches. They conducted similar raids in Al-Khadir town as well as in the villages of Mara'h Raba'h and 'Harmala, but none were detained. Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents. These raids, which also take place in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers. Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised. According to the latest figures from Al-Dhameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, there are currently 10,300 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons and detention centers, including 345 children and 89 female prisoners. This number includes 3,428 Palestinians placed under “administrative detention”, which allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing. The mass arrest of Palestinians is nothing new. According to a 2017 report by Al-Dhameer, over the past 50 years, more than 800,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned or detained by Israel, this figure is now believed to be closer to 1 million. This means that about 40% of Palestinian men and boys living under military occupation have been deprived of their freedom. Almost every Palestinian family has suffered the imprisonment of a loved one. K.F. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Biden administration total support for the Israeli genocidal war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Hundreds of the illegal Israeli settlers storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), January 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Hundreds of the illegal Israeli settlers Wednesday stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the occupied city of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), according to local sources. They said that approximately 630 of the illegal Israeli Jewish supremacist settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, barged their way into the compound and performed provocative rituals and tours inside, at a time when the occupation forces denied Palestinians access to the Old City of Jerusalem and the mosque compound. Since the onset of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, the occupation forces have beefed up restrictions at the gates of the site and the Old City of Jerusalem. During the same period, over 68,000 of the illegal Israeli settlers stormed the mosque compound. K.F. *** Illegal Israeli settlers chase Palestinian shepherds, destroy olive groves in southern West Bank Al-Khaleel (Hebron), January 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists Wednesday chased Palestinian shepherds and destroyed olive groves in Masafir Yatta, south of the occupied West Bank city of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), according to a local activist. Osama Makhamra said that colonists chased shepherds, all identified as members of Al-'Hamamda family, and denied them access to pastures in the Bir Ma‘in area of Masafir Yatta. Meanwhile, colonists grazed their livestock on Palestinians’ crops and sabotaged several olive trees belonging to members of the Na‘ameen family. Masafir Yatta is a collection of almost 19 hamlets which rely heavily on animal husbandry as the main source of livelihood. Located in Area C of the West Bank, under full Israeli administrative and military control, the area has been subjected to repeated Israeli violations by settlers and soldiers targeting their main source of living - livestock. It has been designated as a closed Israeli military zone for training since 1980s and accordingly referred to as Firing Zone 918. Israeli violations against the area include demolition of animal barns, homes and residential structures. Issuance of construction permits by Israel to local Palestinians in the area is non-existent. K.F. *** Israel razes a Palestinian Jerusalemite home, displaces family on first day of new year Wednesday 1-January-2025 Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) The Israeli occupation apartheid regime municipality started the new year in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Wednesday by displacing a Palestinian family in Al-Wallaja town, south of the holy city. According to local sources, an Israeli bulldozer escorted by police forces demolished a house belonging to the family of Abu Rizq and displaced its residents. A family of five, mostly children, were rendered homeless as a result of the Israeli measure. The Israeli municipality carried out the demolition with no prior notice and without even allowing the family to remove the furniture. As always, the municipality justified its measure by claiming that the house had been built with no permit. Al-Wallaja residents have been facing an Israeli demolition campaign and settlement expansion for long years. Local officials and organizations believe that the Israeli occupation authority plans to seize the area of Al-Wallaja in order to carry out settlement projects and connect Jewish settlements with each other. According to the Hebrew media, Israel plans to build 800 housing units for settlers in Al-Wallaja area at the pretext it is state land. *** Al-Khaleel (Hebron) Municipality warns of excavations at the Ibraheemi Mosque Wednesday 1-January-2025 Al-Khaleel (Hebron), (PIC) Al-Khaleel (Hebron) Municipality warned on Tuesday that the Israeli excavations being carried out by Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) in the courtyards of the Ibraheemi Mosque are aimed at Judaizing and changing the status quo in the holy site. “These measures come in the context of the IOAR attempts to strip the municipality of its powers, which is part of a wider Israeli plan aimed at creating new fait accompli and obliterating the Palestinian identity of the site,” the Municipality said in a statement. It added that “these excavations and diggings represent a flagrant violation of international law, as they lack any legal objective or justification.” It explained that “these actions pose a serious threat to the historical and religious structure of the Ibraheemi Mosque, as well as to its surroundings, which represent an integral part of the Palestinian cultural heritage.” It further explained that these attacks “come within a series of ongoing violations aimed at Judaizing the Ibraheemi Mosque and changing its Islamic and historical features.” The Municipality called on all local and international institutions to “immediately intervene to stop these violations and protect the Ibraheemi Mosque.” *** Israeli occupation forces erect checkpoint in Aree'ha (Jericho) Aree'ha (Jericho), January 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Wednesday erected a flying checkpoint in the downtown part of the occupied West Bank city of Aree'ha (Jericho), according to security sources. They said that the occupation forces stormed the city and set up a checkpoint at the beginning of the Banks Street, obstructing the movement of Palestinian-registered vehicles. In the course of the raid, the forces broke into and ransacked a money exchange shop. Israel severely restricts Palestinians’ freedom of movement through a complex combination of over 100 fixed checkpoints, flying checkpoints, settler-only roads and various other physical obstructions. Closures besides other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 57-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians. K.F. *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** Action Aid: 77% of Palestinians in the Strip lack basic relief items GAZA, January 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Reham Al-Ja'fari, Director of Support and Advocacy at Action Aid, Wednesday said that 77% of Palestinians in the war-torn Gaza Strip lack basic relief items. Speaking in an interview with Voice of Palestine, Al-Ja'fari added that the last three months were the harshest for Palestinians given the fact that relief items are allowed entry to the Strip in scarce quantities, the widespread famine and diseases, the collapse of the health sector, worn-out tents and lack of winter.
