Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry:

By November 19, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 53,972+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (43,972), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 10,000+). 

By November 19, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 104,008.

By November 18, 2024, 785 Palestinians who were killed, 6,548 who were injured, and 11,842, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023, including 310 women and 640 children (Some of the detainees have been released).

By November 18, 2024, according to initial reports, 28 Lebanese civilians were killed, 107 were injured, by the Israeli genocidal raids on Lebanon, in the past 24 hours. Thus, the Lebanese death toll, since October 8, 2023, has surged to 3,544 fatalities and more than 15,036 injuries.

"مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَٰلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا"  (الْمَائِدَةُ ، 5: 32).

"وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا" (النِّسَاءُ ، 4: 93).

"إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا ۚ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوءُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِيرًا" ‎(الإسْرَاءُ ، 17: 7).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Israeli attacks kill 3,544 in Lebanon since October 2023

Israeli attacks on Lebanon have killed at least 3,544 people and wounded 15,036 since October 8, 2023, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday evening.

In a statement, the ministry said 28 were killed and 107 wounded over the past 24 hours.

Lebanon has been facing relentless Israeli attacks for more than a year, but this aggression has grown more intense and deadly since the end of last September, resulting in thousands of casualties and the displacement of more than a million people.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime army continued its large-scale aggression against Lebanon on Tuesday, leaving dozens of martyrs and wounded, and launching strikes targeting the heart of the capital, Beirut, that intensified during the past two days, while Hezbollah responded with drone and rocket attacks that sparked fire and caused the injury of four Israelis in Tel Aviv.

Meanwhile, the US envoy arrived in Lebanon on Monday to discuss the ceasefire proposal.

The Israeli army launched raids on Mar Elias, Ras Al-Nab'a, and the Zuqaq AL-Balat, which led to the martyrdom of five people and the injury of 31 others, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

The Lebanese National Information Agency reported a number of injuries at dawn Tuesday, as Israeli warplanes targeted a 4-story building in the Al-Shaya'h area in the southern suburb of Beirut.

The raid came without a prior warning from the Israeli army, which did not give the residents an opportunity to evacuate.

On the other hand, the Lebanese 'Hizbullah expanded its military operations against Israeli military bases, and announced the continuation of its confrontations of the Israeli army’s attempts of ground incursion in southern Lebanon, in addition to bombing Israeli settlements.

'Hizbullah announced at dawn Tuesday that it carried out an airstrike with a group of drones on “sensitive sites” in Tel Aviv.

This came after four Israelis were injured on Monday evening, and Al-Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport was closed due to explosions and fires in the Greater Tel Aviv region after a rocket was fired from Lebanon, according to the Israeli army. The Israeli Channel 12 said that the missiles that targeted Tel Aviv also resulted in a fire in a building and a bus in Bani Barak area.

'Hizbullah also announced that an Israeli drone was shot down over Al-Tayyiba town with a surface-to-air missile, adding that the drone was seen in flames. The party also announced the targeting of the Kiryat Shmona settlement with a rocket salvo.

Three Lebanese soldiers martyred, civilians hurt in Sarafand airstrike

Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon struck near a Lebanese Army center, killing three soldiers and wounding several civilians.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health's Public Health Emergency Operations Center reported on Tuesday evening that an Israeli airstrike on the southern town of Sarafand near a Lebanese Army center martyred three soldiers and wounded eight others, including civilians in the surrounding areas.

This recent strike adds to the growing toll since the onset of the war on Lebanon, with casualties now reaching 3,544 martyred and 15,036 wounded, according to official figures. The center reported that 28 people were martyred and 107 wounded on Monday alone.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued an intense air campaign across southern Lebanon, Al-Biqaa' Valley, and Beirut's southern suburbs, targeting civilian homes in what Lebanese sources describe as unprecedented brutality.

On Tuesday evening, sustained Israeli airstrikes targeted the city of Soor (Tyre) and its surrounding areas, with notable strikes at the Dair Qanoun-Ras Al-'Ain intersection, accompanied by concentrated artillery fire.

In addition to Soor (Tyre), other towns and villages faced heavy bombardment, including Ma'roub, Tayr Felsay, Debaal, the outskirts of Ma'araka, and Jabal Al-Batm east of Soor (Tyre). The town of Zefta was also hit, though no casualties were reported there.

Widespread airstrikes continued, reaching towns such as Kfar Melki, Debaal, Hanawiya, Bazouriya, 'Ain Qana, Dair Amess, and Tayr Debba.

The Israeli air force also conducted attacks on several other locations, including Debeen, Al-Khiyam, Dair 'Antar, Al-Sultaniya, Kfar Shouba, 'Habboush, Ma'roub, Jabal Al-Batm, Shib'a, Kfar Man, and Tebneen. Additionally, 'Ain Qana in the Iqleem Al-Tuffa'h region came under heavy aerial bombardment.

Over 200 Lebanese children killed

UNICEF reported Tuesday that "Israel" killed over 200 children in Lebanon amid its ongoing aggression over the past two months. The organization highlighted the alarming trend of an average of three child martyrs per day during this period.

Despite the severity of the situation, there is growing concern over the apparent indifference from those with the power to intervene and halt the ongoing Israeli aggression, as per the child advocacy group.

Commenting on this issue, UNICEF spokesperson James Elder expressed frustration following the killing of four children in Lebanon by "Israel", stating, "'It's complicated.....I'm so sick of hearing this word… There is nothing complicated about a child going to bed and expecting to wake up the next day."

If not killed, scarred for life: 'Israel' targets Lebanon's children

Curled up in his father’s lap, gripping his chest, 4-year-old 'Husain Miqdad sobbed uncontrollably. He kicked the doctor with his uninjured foot and pushed him away with his arm that wasn’t in a cast. "My Dad! My Dad!" 'Husain cried. "Make him leave me alone!" His father, with eyes filled with both relief and pain, reassured him and held him tighter.

'Husain and his father, 'Hasan, are the sole survivors of their family following an Israeli airstrike on their Beirut neighborhood last month. The brutal Israeli attack on a residential neighborhood killed at least 18 people, including Hussein's mother, three siblings, and six other relatives. Israeli airstrikes have mainly targeted residential areas across Lebanon, killing and wounding thousands.

"Can he now shower?" the father asked the doctor.

Ten days after surgery, doctors assessed 'Husain’s injuries and confirmed that he was healing well. He has metal rods in his broken right thigh and stitches that have reattached the torn tendons in his right arm. The pain has eased, and Hussein is expected to walk again in two months, though with a permanent limp.

As airstrikes continue to hit homes and residential areas, doctors are seeing an increasing number of children affected by the brutal Israeli aggression. Over the past six weeks, more than 100 children have been killed in Lebanon, and hundreds more injured. Of the 14,000 people wounded since last year, about 10% are children. Many have suffered severed limbs, burns, and lost families—trauma that may last a lifetime.

Ghassan Abu Sittah, a prominent British-Palestinian surgeon who is also treating Hussein, sees a difficult future ahead. His concern is clear, "It leaves us with a generation of physically wounded children, children who are psychologically and emotionally wounded."

‎In the town of Qana, warplanes targeted a center of the Islamic Health Authority, where two martyrs from the health authority were raised. In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 410th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has entered day 46, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area.

Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services.

According to local sources, two people were martyred, including photojournalist A'hmed Abu Shari’ah, and others were injured in an Israeli aerial attack on al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City.

An infant was killed in the morning when the Israeli army bombed a house in the new refugee camp in the northwest of Al-Nusayrat in central Gaza.

Two young men were also martyred in Israeli drone and artillery attacks on different areas of northern Gaza.

More casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

Eight Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on Bait Lahya, northern Gaza

At least eight Palestinians were killed this evening in an Israeli airstrike which targeted a building in the town of Bait Lahya, north of the Gaza Strip, local sources reported. 

According to witnesses, the attack targeted a residential building, home to members of the al-Kahlout family and displaced civilians, near the Gaza Electric Company in the town of Bait Lahya.

Emergency responders managed to pull out some of the victims and transfer them to Kamal 'Udwan Hospital. However, reports indicate that several people remain trapped under the rubble, with rescue teams unable to access the site due to the ongoing airstrikes and the scale of the destruction.

This latest attack is part of the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza, which has been going on since October 7, 2023. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the aggression has claimed the lives of 43,972 people, the majority of whom are women and children, while over 104,000 have been injured. 

The toll continues to rise as many victims remain buried under the debris, with emergency teams struggling to reach them due to the continuous bombardment.

Israeli bombardment of Al-Buraij and Al-Nusayrat refugee camps in central Gaza kills four, injures others

At least four civilians were killed and several others were injured on Tuesday evening in the Israeli shelling of the Al-Buraij and Al-Nusayratrefugee camps in the war-torn Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a residential area in the Al-Buraij refugee camp, resulting in the killing of three civilians.

At least one civilian was also killed and others were injured in the occupation's bombing of a house belonging to the Abu Jalalah family in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp.

WAFA correspondent reported that civilians managed to recover the body of one person, along with several wounded people, from beneath the rubble. The fate of several others still trapped under the rubble remains unknown.

The occupation’s ongoing aggression by land, sea, and air on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 43,972 people and the injury of 104,008 others.

Thousands of victims remain missing; either buried under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as rescue teams face tremendous difficulties in reaching them due to the continued Israeli attacks and the massive amount of debris.

Casualty data in Gaza are incomplete due to the ongoing intensive Israeli aggression, the repeated and complete interruption of communication and internet services, lack of fuel and devastated infrastructure, which render it difficult to document figures.

Two civilians, including photojournalist, were killed and others were injured on Tuesday, as a result of the occupation warplanes bombing the Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City.

Medical sources reported that two people, one of them photographer Ahmed Abu Sharia, were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the vicinity of Al-Iman Mosque in the Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City.

An infant was killed this morning as a result of the occupation artillery shelling of a house in the New Camp area northwest of Al-Nusayrat in the central Gaza Strip.

The aggression on the Gaza Strip enters its 410th day, leaving 43,922 civilians killed  and 103,898 wounded.

Several civilians killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes on different areas in Gaza

A Palestinian civilian was killed after the occupation warplanes bombed a group of citizens west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the middle of the Strip, while Israeli warplanes raided the vicinity of the Touba area in the Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza.

The occupation forces also blew up a number of residential buildings in the vicinity of the camp, and artillery targeted citizens' homes in Bait Lahya in the north of the Strip.

The Civil Defense teams announced that the tents of the displaced in the Gaza Strip were flooded as a result of heavy rains, which exacerbated the suffering of thousands of families displaced due to the ongoing aggression.

According to the Ministry of Health, the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 43,922 civilians and 103,898 wounded, with 76 martyrs and 158 wounded recorded in the past twenty-four hours alone.

Kamal 'Udwan Hospital loses the wounded amid renewed Israeli attack

The director of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya, announced on Tuesday that the hospital is losing numbers of the wounded every day due to the shortage in medical supplies and the Israeli detention of 45 members of the hospital’s medical staff, while Israeli occupation forces renewed the bombing of the hospital, targeting its third floor.

Dr. Abu Safiya explained that the health system in Gaza is facing hard conditions, stressing that the lack of medical supplies and the Israeli blocking of the entry of a surgical medical delegation to the hospital exacerbate the situation and preclude saving the wounded.

He pointed out that the Israeli army bombed Kamal 'Udwan Hospital on Monday, while they were trying to save a wounded person in the intensive care room.

He revealed that a hospital doctor lost 17 members of his family, most of them children and women, in the Israeli bombing of his house in the vicinity of the hospital, while another doctor received the news of the martyrdom of 19 of his family members in an Israeli attack while he was working in the emergency department.

Abu Safiya pointed out that the hospital, which is located in the Bait Lahya Project in the northern Gaza Strip, has received many cases of malnutrition, especially among children and the elderly due to food and water shortages in northern Gaza.

Health Ministry: 1,000 Palestinian doctors, nurses killed by Israeli forces in Gaza

The Palestinian Health Ministry said on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation army continues to target the health system in all governorates of the Gaza Strip.

In a press conference, delivered by Director General of Field Hospitals Dr. Marwan Al-Hams; the Ministry further indicated that it destroyed dozens of hospitals and medical centers, turning them out of service.

Al-Hams further noted that the Israeli occupation “deliberately” targets medical staff, indicating that it “has executed more than 1,000 doctors, nurses, and health cadres so far.”

He pointed out that the occupation army also targeted and destroyed Abu Yousuf Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafa'h Governorate, noting that Abu Yousuf Hospital provided health and medical services to 300,000 people.

“(The hospital) provided health services during the genocide war to one and a half million displaced people and citizens before the Israeli invasion of Rafa'h Governorate.”

In this regard, Al-Hams called on the international community to take a “serious stand” to restore and protect the health sector.

The Ministry of Health indicated that the Israeli army targeted over the past few hours the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip “directly and without any reason”.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) killed on Tuesday morning a Palestinian child in Qalandya refugee camp, northeast of Jerusalem, while the Israeli municipality demolished a mosque in Jabel Al-Mukabbir neighborhood in the holy city.

According to local sources, a 12-year-old child was shot dead by Israeli police during their raid in Qalandya refugee camp.

Meanwhile, bulldozers belonging to the Israeli municipality demolished, under police protection, the Al-Shayya'h Mosque in Jabel Al-Mukabbir neighborhood.

About two weeks ago, the mosque imam received a notice from the municipality threatening to knock down the Islamic holy site, which was built 20 years ago, at the pretext of unlicensed construction.

In a separate incident, Israeli police officers assaulted and kidnaped a Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) young man at the Jaba' checkpoint in the holy city.

Three Palestinians killed in IOF raid in Jineen

Since last night, the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) have been carrying a large-scale campaign in Jineen City and its refugee camp, amid widespread destruction, raids on homes, and clashes with resistance fighters.

According to local sources, Israeli forces have been encircling a house in ash-Shuhada village in the south of Jineen City since last night.

The sources said that the IOFs attacked the house with a projectile, amid clashes with resistance fighters who were inside the house, without providing further details.

However, media sources said that the IOFs killed two wanted resistance fighters in the projectile attack on the house, while the Palestinian health ministry affirmed that three young men were martyred in the attack.

During its ongoing campaign, Israeli forces broke into and ransacked several homes, turned some of them into military posts and deployed some snipers on rooftops of tall building inside the city and the refugee camp.

In Jineen’s streets, resistance fighters from the Jenin Brigade and other armed groups clashed with the infiltrating troops and detonated homemade explosive devices at IOF vehicles, including a bulldozer.

Meanwhile, IOFs bulldozers embarked on destroying roads and infrastructure in different areas of Jineen City and its refugee camp.

In separate incidents, Israeli occupation soldiers reportedly kidnaped five citizens during raids in the north of the West Bank, including a father and his son from Barta’ah town in western Jineen.

Israeli forces also raided the house of Adeeb Qabha, wreaked havoc on its contents and assaulted members of his family in Barta’ah town.

At dawn, the IOFs raided several homes in Salem village in eastern Nablus, with no reported kidnappings.

Similar IOFs raids also happened in different towns and villages in Nablus province.

Armed clashes took place between resistance fighters and Israeli troops during a violent IOFs raid in Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.

Local sources said that the IOFs deployed snipers in Balata camp, bulldozed roads and infrastructure and flew drones over the area, amid clashes with local youths and resistance fighters.

In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), the IOFs kidnapped a child as he was walking to his school in the morning and injured him in his head in Tabaqa village.

The IOFs also closed all the entrances of Tabaqa village in the south of Doura City and prevented the local residents from leaving or entering the village.

IOFs raids on homes took place in Idhna town, west of al-Khalil. One citizen was kidnaped from the town.

Three other citizens were taken prisoners during IOF raids on homes in al-Arroub refugee camp in Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

The IOFs also kidnapped two young men during raids in Qalqilya City and Silwad town in Ramallah.

In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Israeli forces spread in the streets of Al-Duhaisha refugee camp, raided homes and a printing facility, and detained a number of local young men for a while.

Over 12 Palestinians detained by Israeli forces in West Bank

RAMALLAH, November, 19, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Israeli occupation forces detained at least 12 Palestinians from various parts of the West Bank, including former prisoners, during a series of overnight raids, according to the Palestinian Prisoners' Society and the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs.

The detentions were distributed across the governorates of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Qalqilya, Jineen, Ramallah, Toubas, and Toulkarm.

The two organizations said in a joint statement that the detentions are part of Israel's ongoing campaign of widespread detentions across the West Bank. In addition to the detentions, Israeli forces subjected detainees and their families to threats, physical abuse, and destruction of property during the raids.

The recent detentions bring the total number of Palestinians detained since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli aggression to over 11,700, including those arrested from both the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). These numbers reflect the growing scale of Israel's mass detention policy, which has intensified dramatically since October 7, 2024.

'Hamas: Demolition of Al-Shayya'h Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) is crime against religions

The 'Hamas Resistance Movement said on Tuesday that the Israeli demolition of Al-Shayya'h Mosque in Al-Mukabbir town, in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), came as part of the Israeli religious and cultural war against the city of Jerusalem, its landmarks, and its Islamic identity.

'Hamas considered the demolition of the Mosque, which has been built for more than twenty years in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), “a new crime committed by the extremist Israeli government against our Palestinian people.”

It pointed out that the Israeli occupation apartheid regime is working to escalate its Judaization plans in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

The Movement warned of the dangers of the Israeli escalation against Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), its landmarks, Mosques and churches, saying that it requires an Arab and Islamic effective intervention to deter the Israeli occupation and protect the Islamic and Christian sanctities, most notably Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Israeli occupation authorities demolished the Al-Shayya'h Mosque in the Jabal Al-Mukabbir neighborhood east of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), under the pretext of being built without Israeli permit.

Israeli forces set Palestinian house on fire in Jenin refugee camp

The Israeli occupation forces set a Palestinian house on fire in Jenin refugee camp this morning, Tuesday.

Local sources said that the occupation forces set to fire a house near Al-Ansar Mosque in Jenin camp, causing fire to broke out inside it, while civil defense crews were prevented from reaching it.

The occupation forces continue to storm Jenin camp and areas in the city, while the occupation bulldozers destroy a number of streets in the camp and destroy vehicles and citizens' properties in the Al-Damj and Al-Falouja neighborhoods.

Israeli colonists today attacked Palestinian farmers and shepherds in Masafir Yatta, south of Hebron.

The head of the village council in Susya, Jihad Al-Nawaj'a, said that a group of Israeli colonists from the illegal colony of Susya, which was built on citizens' lands and properties in Masafer Yatta, attacked famers and shepherds while they were attending their lands.

 The colonists also chased the shepherds and farmers in the said village and assaulted members from Al-Jabour family, and a woman from Al-Nawaj'a family, causing them bruises and wounds,

The causalities were rushed to Yatta Governmental Hospital for medical treatment.

UNSC warns of the deterioration of humanitarian situation in Gaza, calls for surge in Gaza aid

Members of the UN Security Council called for a surge in humanitarian aid to Gaza, warning of the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip.

A session of the Security Council was held Monday night at a high diplomatic level, as requested by the UK, which is currently chairing the Council.

Tor Wennesland, the UN coordinator for the Middle East peace process, told the session that the region reached a dark point after more than a year of the Israeli war and bloodshed in Gaza, appealing to the international community to move quickly to stop the war.

In the preparatory memorandum of the meeting, the UK indicated that it decided to focus on holding the meeting at the level of foreign ministers, believing that “ending the conflict in Gaza and Lebanon is an urgent priority, with the need to focus on reducing broader regional escalation by stopping the flow of weapons to the non-governmental armed actors and ending the Houthi attacks in the Red Sea.”

For his part, the UN envoy Wennesland focused on the humanitarian situation and described it as a nightmare, noting that the Israeli war “caused massive destruction and heavy losses.”

He described the humanitarian situation in Gaza as catastrophic, specifically in northern Gaza, calling what is happening as “apparently disregarding the international humanitarian law … Gaza has been witnessing the worst conditions since the war began and we do not expect it to improve soon.”

Wennesland mentioned the “violence and despair that the West Bank is witnessing,” warning that continued Israeli military operations and settlement activities in the Palestinian cities and camps in the West Bank, lead to more tensions and chaos.

The UN official finally warned of the consequences of Israeli decisions adopting bills prohibiting UNRWA operations.

PNGO: Humanitarian work in Gaza to collapse due to Israeli restrictions on aid

The Palestinian NGOs Network (PNGO) has warned of the collapse of the humanitarian work system in the Gaza Strip due to the Israeli occupation army’s tight restrictions on the entry of aid.

In a statement on Monday, PNGO said that dozens of bakeries and community kitchens stopped working after the Israeli army tightened its restrictions on the entry of food supplies, which the Palestinian people in Gaza depend on for survival.

PNGO warned of “the serious repercussions of this rapid deterioration on the humanitarian situation and its impacts on the lives of the Gaza population — most of them suffer from repeated displacement and live in dilapidated tents that cannot withstand the rain, cold and wind.”

PNGO called on the UN anew to declare the Gaza Strip a “famine zone,” assume its legal and moral responsibility towards this worsening humanitarian situation, save the lives of the population and provide them with protection.

PNGO called for intensifying the efforts at all levels to stop organized gangs and individuals from robbing aid convoys and ensure their access to the civilians who deserve them, including the children who suffer from severe malnutrition.

In a related context, The Washington Post quoted aid groups and other sources as saying that gangs looting Gaza aid operate in areas under Israeli army control.

“As Gaza’s hunger crisis worsens, organized gangs are stealing much of the aid Israel allows into the enclave, operating freely in areas controlled by the Israeli military, according to aid group officials, humanitarian workers, transport companies and witnesses,” The Washington Post said on Monday.

“Officials said criminal looting has become the greatest impediment to distributing aid in the southern half of Gaza, home to the vast majority of displaced Palestinians,” The Washington Post added.

The newspaper quoted aid workers and transport companies as saying that “the armed bands of men have killed, beaten and kidnapped aid truck drivers in the area around Israel’s Karm Abu Salim (Kerem Shalom) crossing, the main entry point into Gaza’s south.”

Qatar Foreign Ministry: No decision was made to close 'Hamas office

The spokesman for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majid Al-Ansari, reiterated that no Qatari decision was made to close the Hamas Movement’s office in Doha, saying “this did not happen and if such a decision was made, it would be officially issued.”

Al-Ansari said, in a press statement on Tuesday, “Any decision to close down the office is a decision “that you will hear about from us directly and shouldn’t be part of media speculation.”

“The representatives of 'Hamas are welcome in Qatar and when traveling if they want, and the office has no job until it has a role in the negotiations,” he added.

“We coordinate with our partners in Türkiye with regard to the issues of Gaza and Lebanon … and Hamas leaders easily move.”

Al-Ansari explained that Qatar decided to suspend its mediation in the negotiations on Gaza “as a result of the lack of seriousness of the parties,” noting that the decision is still in place. He pointed out that the suspension of negotiations “does not mean that the efforts to reduce the escalation have stopped.”

In the same context, Reuters quoted a Turkish diplomatic source, as saying that what is being reported about the transfer of the political bureau of Hamas to Türkiye “does not reflect the truth,” telling the Turkish Anadolu Agency, that members of the Movement visit the country from time to time.

Qatar, which is hosting the Movement’s office confirmed earlier, that recent reports on Doha asking Hamas to leave the country are “inaccurate”.

The Times of Israel has claimed that senior members of the Hamas leadership abroad left Qatar last week to Türkiye.
