While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

The Israeli army continued on Saturday its daily raids on various areas in Lebanon, targeting the Al-Hadath area and Haret Hreik in the southern suburb of Beirut.

During the past 24 hours, the Israeli army repeatedly warned the residents of buildings in the Ghobeiry area, in addition to other buildings in Haret Hreik and Burj al-Barajneh in the southern suburb of Beirut, asking them to evacuate their homes before being bombed.

On Friday evening, an entire family, consisting of the parents and three children, was martyred in a raid that targeted their home in the town of Ain Qana in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese News Agency explained that Israeli warplanes bombed the home of the citizen Ni’mat Allah Hussein Malah in Ain Qana, in the Iqlim al-Tuffah area, resulting in the destruction of the house, and a massacre in which Malah, his wife and their three children were martyred.

The Lebanese News Agency reported that an Israeli drone launched a raid on the agricultural neighborhood, which includes popular housing in Tyre, adding that it led to “the martyrdom of three people and the injury of nine others, in addition to severe damage to the targeted site.”

Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters Day 407

Saturday 16-November-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 407th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Saturday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, has entered day 41, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area.

Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services.

According to local sources, the Israeli army bombed a group of civilians near a mosque in as-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, killing one of them.

The Israeli army also bombed a house belonging to the family of Samara in ash-Shuja’iya neighborhood in the east of Gaza City.

At dawn, three citizens were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli attack near the Musaab bin Omair Mosque in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza.

More casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

Journalist killed in Israeli drone attack in northern Gaza

Journalist Mohammed Saleh Al-Sharif

GAZA, November 16, 2024 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian journalist was killed today after being shot dead by an Israeli drone in the Jabalya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

The sources reported that Israeli forces launched gunfire from a quadcopter drone towards journalist Mu'hammed Sali'h Al-Shareef, resulting in his murder. Al-Sharif, who had recently been forced to evacuate his home in the Tel Al-Za'tar area of east Jabalya due to the ongoing Israeli bombardment, had sought refuge with a relative in nearby Bait Lahya.

A few days later, Al-Sharif and his cousin returned to their home to assess the damage, but as they approached, an Israeli drone targeted them. His cousin was killed instantly, and Al-Sharif was left wounded, bleeding for more than two hours before succumbing to his injuries.

It is also important to note that Israeli forces have been preventing civil defense and emergency medical teams from operating in northern Gaza for over 25 days, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.

According to the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, 174 journalists have been killed in Gaza since the start of Israel's war of genocide on the Strip on October 7, 2023.

Over 12 Palestinians detained by Israeli forces in the West Bank

RMALLAH, November, 16, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli forces conducted a series of detentions across the West Bank overnight, detaining 12 Palestinians, including former detainees, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) and the Palestinian Authority’s Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs.

The raids targeted several areas in the West Bank, including the cities of Hebron, Nablus, Jenin, Qalqilya, and Salfit. They were accompanied by violent raids on homes, widespread destruction of property, and threats made against detainees and their families.

In some cases, Israeli forces ransacked homes, destroying personal belongings and confiscating items without explanation.

Since the start of the ongoing Israeli aggression in October 2023, over 11,700 Palestinians have been detained from the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, as part of a broader campaign of collective punishment.

The scale of detentions continues to grow, with many detainees facing lengthy periods of detention without charge or trial, and reports of widespread ill-treatment during detention.

Israeli colonists attack 13-year-old boy in Hebron

HEBRON, November 16, 2024 (WAFA) –

A 13-year-old Palestinian boy was brutally assaulted by a group of Israeli colonists today in the Tel Rmeida neighborhood in the center of Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank.

Yasser Abu Markhiya, a local activist, reported that the attack occurred when Mohammad Rajab Abu Markhiya was on his way to visit his grandmother. The colonists beat the boy severely, leaving him with multiple bruises. He was immediately taken to the Hebron Governmental Hospital for treatment.

The Tel Rmeida area has long been a site of frequent Israeli attacks, with residents frequently subjected to violence by Israeli colonists, particularly those from the illegal Ramat Yishai outpost.

In addition to these assaults, Palestinians in the area endure ongoing military occupation measures, including severe restrictions on movement, house raids, and the closure of key streets.

Israeli forces seize vehicles and colonists harass shepherds south of Hebron

HEBRON, November 16, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces seized three vehicles in the town of Al-Karmel, located south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, while armed colonists chased Palestinian shepherds in the nearby Masafer Yatta area.

According to local sources, Israeli forces raided the Al-Khalidiya area in Al-Karmel with military vehicles, blocking roads and surrounding the homes of local residents. The troops stopped and searched several civilian vehicles before seizing three of them.

Meanwhile, a group of armed colonists from the Havat Maon settlement, illegally built on Palestinian land in Masafer Yatta, chased shepherds in the Wadi al-Jawaya area. The colonists forced the shepherds to leave the area and prevented them from accessing grazing land.

In another incident, colonists carried out provocative actions in the Fateh Sidra" area of Masafer Yatta, releasing their flocks of sheep and livestock near the homes of Palestinian residents.

These ongoing actions are part of a wider campaign of harassment and displacement of Palestinians from their lands, particularly in the Masafer Yatta region, which faces increasing settler violence and military pressure.

Water and sanitation services in Khan Younus disrupted due to fuel depletion

Saturday 16-November-2024

KHAN YUNIS, (PIC)

The water and sewage facilities and pumps as well as the collection and disposal of garbage have been disrupted in Khan Younus, in the southern Gaza Strip, due to fuel depletion, according to the municipality.

The municipality said in a statement on Saturday that the city had run out of fuel a week ago as a result of Israel’s ban on its entry.

The municipality warned that blocking fuel supplies would lead to the cessation of basic municipal services in Khan Younus, including water, sanitation, and waste services.

It explained that this will lead to the spread of environmental and health disasters resulting from the suspension of sewage stations and accordingly the flow of sewage in the streets and the spread of more diseases and epidemics among citizens.

The municipality further elaborated that it was not possible to operate water wells and desalination plants, which deprives more than 1,200,000 people, including the displaced, of their most basic rights to obtain drinking and clean water.

The municipality of Khan Younus called on the international community, human rights organizations and donors to urgently intervene to end the Israeli war on the Strip, to pressure to resume providing local bodies with fuel supplies needed to operate water wells, desalination stations, sewage pumps and mechanisms of waste collection and disposal.

It also called for obliging the Israeli occupation authorities to allow the entry of equipment and spare parts necessary to operate fuel stations, which would spare the collapse of the municipal services system which has been greatly affected during the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

NGOs: Israeli army targets Gaza police, helps looters of aid

Saturday 16-November-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Looting of aid reaching Gaza has been made easier by Israel’s army targeting the local police which would otherwise be able to prevent it, a group of non-governmental organizations said Friday.

A report by 29 NGOs, including Save the Children, Oxfam and Care, said that humanitarian aid entering Gaza had fallen to an all-time low, averaging 37 humanitarian trucks per day in October, and 69 in the first week of November.

The NGOs pointed out that “merely counting the number of trucks” was no longer an adequate measure of gauging the amount of aid reaching the people in the Gaza Strip.

“Looting is an ongoing issue,” they said, calling the theft of goods “a consequence of Israel’s targeting of the remaining police forces in Gaza” as well as of scarcity of essential goods, lack of routes and the closure of most crossing points which had resulted in “desperation of the population amid those dire conditions.”

Based on “media reports,” the NGOs accused Israel’s army of “failing to prevent aid trucks from being looted and armed gangs from extorting aid organizations for protection money.”

In “some cases,” the report said, “the remaining members of local police forces tried to take action against the looters, but were attacked by Israeli troops.”

Incidents had taken place “close by or in full view of Israeli forces without them intervening, even when truck drivers asked for assistance,” the report added.

Meanwhile, Israeli air strikes had killed at least 20 aid workers from mostly Palestinian organizations between October 10 and November 13, the NGOs said.

“Staff were killed in their homes, in displacement camps and while delivering life-saving aid,” they affirmed.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
