While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

US Air Force soldier dies after setting himself on fire outside Israeli embassy in Washington

WASHINGTON , Monday, February 26, 2024 (WAFA) –

The US Air Force active duty service member, Aaron Bushnell, died on Monday after setting himself on fire outside the Israeli embassy in Washington on February 25, 2024, in an apparent act of protest  against the brutal Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.

A video went viral on internet shows the previous US soldier filming himself and repeatedly shouting “Free Palestine!” while setting himself on fire.

He was initially taken to the hospital after suffering “serious, life-threatening injuries,” according to the fire department.

A US Air Force spokeswoman said that the man died of his wounds last night.

Before sitting himself on fire, the man, who was wearing a military uniform, said that he will not be complicit in this genocide.

“I will no longer be complicit in genocide in the Gaza Strip. I am about to engage in an extreme act of protest.”

This comes amid increasing protests in the United States against the bloody genocidal Israeli military war on Gaza Strip, which have so far resulted in the death of about 30,000 persons and injuring more than 70,000 Palestinians, 70% of whom are children and women.

Lazzarini: Famine in Gaza can be avoided through genuine political will

Monday 26-February-2024, NEW YORK, (PIC)

Famine in the Gaza Strip can be averted if aid is allowed in, commissioner-general of UNRWA Philippe Lazzarini has affirmed.

“The last time UNRWA was able to deliver food aid to northern Gaza was on 23 January,” Lazzarini said on social media on Sunday.

“Since then, together with other UN agencies, we have warned against looming famine, appealed for regular humanitarian access, and stated that famine can be averted if more food convoys are allowed into northern Gaza on a regular basis,” the UNRWA chief added.

“Our calls to send food aid have been denied and have fallen on deaf ears,” he said.

“This is a man-made disaster. The world committed to never let famine happen again. Famine can still be avoided through genuine political will to grant access and protection to meaningful assistance,” he stressed.

Lazzarini added that “the days to come will once again test our common humanity and values.”

Recent findings by UN organizations say that general acute malnutrition has spiked in Gaza among children between six and 59 months old, reaching 16.2 percent and exceeding the critical threshold set by the World Health Organization at 15 percent.

Last Friday, the UN Human Rights Office released a report saying that “the severe restrictions on the supply of basic services and humanitarian aid imposed by Israel on Gaza have raised the specters of famine, dehydration, and the spread of disease.

“Most of the population has been repeatedly displaced and crammed into shelters. The blockade and siege imposed on Gaza amount to collective punishment and may also amount to the use of starvation as a method of war, which are war crimes, and may also, depending on further investigation, amount to other serious crimes under international law,” the UN report stated.

Report: Gaza health crisis could kill tens of thousands even if the aggression stops

Monday 26-February-2024,

LONDON, (PIC)

A report by independent researchers in the US and Britain has warned that tens of thousands could still die in the Gaza Strip within months, even if the Israeli aggression stops, due to the health crisis resulting from the war.

The report, which was prepared by academics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the Johns Hopkins Center for Humanitarian Health in the United States, said, “If the fighting escalates and there are significant disease outbreaks, roughly 85,570 people might die by early August, with 68,650 deaths related to traumatic injuries.”

The report estimates that “Even with a ceasefire, about 11,580 people could still die in the same period if a disease outbreak compounds the challenges of rebuilding the sanitation and health system in Gaza. Roughly 3,250 of these deaths would be attributed to long-term complications from trauma injuries, and 8,330 from other causes.”

The researchers projected, “if the fighting continues or escalates, traumatic injuries will make up the majority of excess deaths in Gaza. But deaths from malnutrition, infectious diseases like cholera and a lack of access to care for conditions like diabetes will also kill thousands.”

Since October 7, the Israeli occupation army has been waging a genocidal war against the Gaza Strip, with US and European support, leading to the martyrdom of 29,692 people and the injury of 69,879 others, in addition to the displacement of more than 85 percent (about 1.9 million people) of the Strip’s population, according to official authorities and international bodies.

Guterres: Rafah attack spells doom for humanitarian aid

Monday 26-February-2024, GENEVA, (PIC)

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed his concern that a large-scale ground attack on the city of Rafah by the Israeli army will negatively affect the delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Guterres warned in his speech to the Human Rights Council in Geneva on Monday that “any comprehensive Israeli attack on the city will not only be terrifying for over a million Palestinian civilians who have sought refuge there, but it will also be the final nail in the coffin of the assistance programs we provide.”

The Secretary-General emphasized that Rafah is at the core of humanitarian assistance efforts and that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) is the backbone of this effort.

Guterres reiterated his call for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire for humanitarian reasons, and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages.

In discussing the Security Council’s failure to stop the aggression on Gaza, the Secretary-General stated that “the Council’s lack of unity regarding Israeli military operations in Gaza undermined or perhaps even eliminated its authority.”

Guterres stressed that the urgent need to uphold all human rights as they apply to peace and security, supported by serious efforts in implementation and accountability, affirming that the UN must not become indifferent to the horrific and repeated violations of international humanitarian law and human rights law.

These statements come in the context of escalating warnings of death by starvation in the northern Gaza Strip due to the Israeli war of starvation against the Palestinian people there, by targeting essential sources of life and preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid.

The humanitarian catastrophe suffered by the residents of the Gaza Strip has worsened as a result of the continued brutal bombardment by the Israeli occupation forces, which has led to the displacement of nearly 1.8 million people within the Gaza Strip.

UNICEF: Delivering aid is a matter of life and death for Gaza children

Monday 26-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said on Monday that the delivery of aid is “a matter of life and death” for the children of Gaza, in light of the ongoing Israeli war of genocide and starvation against the Gaza Strip.

The delivery of aid is a matter of life or death for children in Gaza, the UN organization said on X.

It further stressed the urgent need for water, food, medicine and fuel supplies.

“We need an immediate and long-lasting ceasefire to enable the urgent delivery of lifesaving aid.”

For his part, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed his concern that a large-scale ground attack on the city of Rafah by the Israeli army will negatively affect the delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

According to local media sources, 12 martyrs were evacuated to the European Gaza Hospital following Israeli attacks on Khan Younus, south of Gaza.

Two fishermen were also martyred when an Israeli gunboat opened fire at them off the shore of Khan Younus.

After one month in Gaza, Moroccan Doctor: Gaza’s plight is a shame

Monday 26-February-2024,

CAIRO, (PIC)

Moroccan doctor, Zuhair Lahna, who spent a month in Gaza, said that what’s happening in the territory “will remain a shame on the entire world.”

That was stated in a Facebook post by Hana, aged 56, on Saturday, after spending a month in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, assisting the wounded in hospitals lacking basic necessities due to the deadly war waged by Israel on the enclave since October 7th last year.

Lahna added, “A month passed quickly, and in the last few days, I felt that I haven’t done much, and I still have things to do, challenging my medical duty.”

He noted that “his colleague, Dr. Pascal (he didn’t mention his nationality), also wished to extend his stay in southern Gaza, as he felt the same feelings, experiencing the suffering of others and finding joy in the happiness of children.”

Lahna continued, “What happens on this land (Gaza) and under the world’s eyes will remain a sham forever,” and will produce unimaginable effects.

He explained that “people (in Gaza) need everything from food, shelter, and clothing, not to mention their need for water, bathing, infant formula, and diapers for the little ones.”

He continued, “I cannot describe to you my feeling while I am in a hotel in the Egyptian capital Cairo, safe and sound. I don’t hear the buzzing of drones or the roar of warplanes, and I don’t feel that the ambulance transporting me daily between hospitals could be targeted, and a car or a person next to me could be a direct or indirect victim.”

Lahna did not mention when he entered and when he left the territory, but he indicated his one-month stay inside the territory during the Israeli war on Gaza.

He emphasized that “the meaning of security cannot be described by someone who hasn’t lived in terror and fear.”

He said, “He writes these words and feels a sense of sadness and default, his heart aches, and he is overwhelmed by various feelings that are difficult for him to express.”

He added, “For 25 years, I have been traveling to conflict zones and wars, but what people in Gaza are experiencing is the worst I have ever witnessed, and we haven’t been able to go to the northern part of the enclave.”

Lahna was present at the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza.

Lahna, who is a volunteer and who is known as the “doctor of the poor,” has previously traveled to Syria in 2014, to Gaza more than once, and to Afghanistan during the war led by the United States against Al-Qaeda in 2001, and has helped patients in more than four African countries.

They added that the occupation forces continue to implement systematic arrest campaigns, as one of the most prominent established policies that escalated in an unprecedented manner after October 7, not only in terms of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the crimes they committed.

From yesterday evening until this morning, the occupation forces launched a massive arrest campaign that targeted at least 30 citizens from the West Bank, including two women, whom the occupation detained as hostages, one of them an elderly woman, in addition to children and former prisoners.

Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque, IOR sets up more security cameras

Monday 26-February-2024, Al-Quds (Jerusalem), (PIC)

Hordes of the illegal extremist Jewish settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (Jerusalem), on Monday morning and later in the afternoon.

According to local sources, dozens of settlers entered the Mosque in groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under tight police guard.

A number of settlers escorted by police officers also gathered in the eastern area of the Mosque and embarked on performing Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police prevented Muslim worshipers from entering the Islamic holy site during the settler tours.

In a related development, the Israeli occupation regime (IOR) set up towers and surveillance cameras on Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem on Sunday in order to monitor the movement of Muslim worshipers.

According to local sources, the IOR placed three concrete cubes on top of a building at the Mosque’s western area before erecting tall towers with security cameras affixed to them.

The IOA also replaced the old security cameras in different areas of the Mosque and the Al-Quds (Old City of Jerusalem) with news ones.

Such Israeli violations come as the Israeli government is expected to place restrictions on Muslim worshippers trying to pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadhan, which will likely start on March 10.
