Palestinian Farmer Killed, Teenager Dies of Wounds in Gaza Strip, 9 Kidnapped in the West Bank, by Israeli Occupation Forces, Suicide Attack on Erez

The Israeli occupation army invades Gaza, kills a farmer while Palestinian resistance attack Erez crossing

Two Palestinian resistance groups have carried out a suicide attack targeting the Israeli border crossing of Erez located at the northern Israel-Gaza borders on Thursday morning.

A truck loaded with explosive was driven by a Palestinian to the crossing, then the man exploded the truck along with himself inside.

Al-Aqsa Brigades, the armed wing of Fatah, along with the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility for the attack.

Palestinian sources said that the truck was loaded with four tons of explosives, the two groups named the attacker as 23-year-old Ibrahim Nasser from Jabaliya refugee camp, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli sources said that troops at the crossing opened fired at the truck and stopped it then the truck exploded, the sources said that the attacker was the only one killed. They also reported no injures among Israeli troops.

In a Separate attack on Thursday morning, Salim Al-Bahaysa, 65, a Palestinian farmer, was killed after Israeli troops opened fire on Palestinian farmers in the area of Johr Al-Deek in the Al-Buraij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Witnesses said Israeli occupation military vehicles invaded the area in the early morning, and Israeli occupation military bulldozers began digging up agricultural lands.

In the southern Gaza Strip, meanwhile clashes erupted between Palestinian fighters and Israeli occupation soldiers near Kisufim, east of Khan Younis.


Palestinian teenager dies month after being shot by Israeli occupation soldiers

Palestinian teenager Khaled Abdul-Hadi died on Wednesday evening of wounds he sustained last month when he was shot by Israeli occupation troops in the central Gaza Strip.

Palestinian medical sources told Ma'an that Abdul-Hadi was hospitalized after he sustained critical wounds. He died on Wednesday at Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City.

Israeli occupation government closes Sufa crossing

The Israeli occupation government has sealed the Sufa crossing point in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources said on Thursday.

The sources told Ma'an that the crossing should have been opened as usual from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm to allow the delivery of food products and other vital goods, but the terminal was not opened on Thursday.

The sources noted that 55 truckloads of food products passed through the Sufa crossing on Wednesday.

Later in the day, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades claimed responsibility on Thursday for firing a homemade projectile at an Israeli military post at Sufa.

The military group said in a statement that the operation was an act of retaliation for Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Israeli occupation forces kill Palestinian farmer in central Gaza Strip

A 62-year-old farmer, Salim Al-Bahaysa (Al-Buhaisi), was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces which had invaded the area of Johr Al-Deek, east of Al-Buraij in the central Gaza Strip, on Thursday morning.

Eyewitnesses told Ma'an's reporter that Israeli occupation military vehicles fired heavily at Palestinian farmers killing Al-Bahaysa. No other casualties have been reported.

Al-Bahaysa's son Ahmed was killed last Tuesday by Israeli artillery shells in the Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap 3 Palestinians near Jenin

Israeli occupation forces on Thursday arrested three Palestinians in the northern West Bank village of Burqin west of Jenin, and stormed the nearby village of Arraba.

Palestinian security sources said the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped 46-year-old Shaikh Ibrahim Jabir, a Hamas activist, 16-year-old Nur Addin Qabaha and 23-year-old Yousif 'Uwaidat after ransacking their homes in Burqin.

Local sources told Ma'an's reporter that 20 Israeli occupation military vehicles raided the village and the nearby Burqin Valley. They stormed several houses, firing sonic bombs inside and damaging the interior of the homes.

Separately, ten military vehicles raided Arraba and inspected several houses. No kidnappings have been reported.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap six youth, including a handicapped resident, in Hebron

Palestinian sources in the southern West Bank city of Hebron reported on Wednesday evening that Israeli occupation soldiers kidnapped five school students in Al-Arroub Refugee Camp, north of Hebron, and also kidnapped a handicapped resident in Yatta town, south of the city.

The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that soldiers kidnapped the five youth in front of Al Arroub Secondary School for Boys after claiming that they hurled stones at them.

Palestinian security sources reported that Israeli occupation soldiers initially detained dozens of students and took them to Atzion military camp for interrogation.

 Later on, soldiers released 12 students. The five who remained in detention were identified as Anas Al-Muzayin, 17; Dia’ Al-Yaoury, 17, Sohaib Ibrahim, 17; Hamza Jawabra, 17; and Amin Abdul-Ghaffar, 14.

On Wednesday at night, soldiers invaded Yatta town and kidnapped a physically challenged resident.

  Soldiers broke into a public services office belonging to resident Mousa Ali Abu Fanar, 35, searched the office and confiscated a computer and a printer before kidnapping him and taking him to an unknown destination.

Palestinian fighters ambush Israeli occupation forces patrol in central Gaza Strip

The military wing affiliated to the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), the National Resistance Brigades, claimed responsibility on Wednesday evening for ambushing an Israeli occupation forces patrol east of Johr Ad-Deik in the central Gaza Strip.

The Brigades said in a statement that the group that ambushed the patrol fired gunshots and grenades at an Israeli occupation forces military jeep.

They affirmed the operation was in retaliation for the ongoing Israeli daily assaults against the Palestinian people.
