Nancy Pelosi arrives in Tel Aviv

Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, arrived in Tel Aviv on Friday for the celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Israeli state.

Her visit comes in the wake of US President George W. Bush's visit to the Israeli state, during which he addressed Knesset members and reiterated US support for Israel.

Israeli sources said that Pelosi heads a team of fourteen republican and democratic congress members.
