******************************* 1) BRING THE TROOPS HOME -
GET INVOLVED The war in Afghanistan is lurching from crisis to
crisis. Opinion polls show opposition to the war is
hardening, but the political establishment is still
united in its commitment to the war. Stop the War
is asking all its supporters to help make the voice of the
anti-war majority as active and visible as possible,
particularly in mobilising for the national Bring the Troops
Home demonstration on Saturday 24 October. We are encouraging our
supporters to publicise the demonstration by leafleting
their street, estate, workplace, college etc. Leaflets and
posters are available from the national Stop the War
office: call 020 7801 2768 or e-mail
office@stopwar.org.uk.
Stop the War has local groups around the country campaigning
against the war. If you would like to get involved in your
area, see the Stop the War website:

supporters to join the protest to ensure the call to bring
the troops home from Afghanistan is heard loud and clear.

5) BRING THE TROOPS HOME FINANCIAL APPEAL Funding Stop the
War's anti-war activities and running our small office
means our finances are always stretched to the limit. This
is why we have to make a financial appeal when we
are organising a national demonstration, which is costly to
organise, not least in the tens of thousands of leaflets and
thousands of posters we produce. We are asking our supporters
to make a donation towards our Bring the Troops Home
financial appeal. Donations of any size will
be very much appreciated. HOW TO DONATE: *
Online: http://bit.ly/APlKX * By
credit / debit card: Phone 020 7801 2768 * By cheque: Made
out to 'Stop the War Coalition' and sent to
