There's class warfare in America

Is there class warfare in America

? Of course, there is--and CNBC's Maria Bartiromo and I got into it on the topic yesterday. And I left her a bit speechless--not an easy thing to do.

The back-and-forth came as part of a debate on the absurd notion that public employees are the people to blame for state government budget problems (as opposed to Wall Street/AIG/Citibank and a regressive tax system).

You can see the whole thing here or via a discussion at Working Life.

TROOPS OUT OF AFGHANISTAN: SIGN PETITION & PASS IT ON

Latest developments simply confirm that the occupation of Afghanistan is an unmitigated disaster. Innocent civilians are being killed (http://bit.ly/11XmN3), Afghans are claiming white phosphorous is being used by US forces
(http://bit.ly/1t16g). British soldiers are dying. The war is creating chaos in Pakistan.

Stop the War has launched a petition to help create pressure on the British government to pull the troops out. The petition will be handed in to Downing Street later in the year, which will be Stop the War's launch for further action on the issue.

The petition can be signed on line but we are asking our supporters not just to sign but to forward the link as widely
as possible and to download a hard copy version, take it around colleagues and friends and return it to the Stop the
war Office.

SIGN THE PETITION ONLINE OR DOWNLOAD FOR COLLECTING SIGNATURES: http://bit.ly/JTUoj
