The Palestinians Are Following in the Footsteps of the American Revolution

There is something soooooo familiar about all of this. Now, let’s see, we have on one side one of the most wealthy and militarily-powerful nations in the world throwing everything they have against a ragtag group of people fighting to rid their lands of foreign occupation. A military blockade has been imposed upon the native peoples, preventing them from engaging in business they need to sustain themselves. The occupying power, demonstrating its complete disregard for human life and the fact it does not distinguish between civilian and combatants is engaged in deliberately burning down entire towns in achieving its ends.

Naturally, the freedom fighters are called criminals and have no just basis for their grievances. The occupying power, understanding the paramount importance of decapitation, is actively engaged in hunting down the leaders of this movement.

Why, yes, that’s it–It’s the exact same scenario that took place a relatively short while ago between the British and the Americans in what came to be known as the American Revolution. Gripe and moan about it all you want, all you ‘patriotic” Americans who squirm at the fact that our own glorious war for independence is a mirrored reflection of what is taking place in the Middle East as Palestinians fight to rid their home of foreign occupiers, but it is what it is and there is no getting around it.

For those Americans at a disadvantage in terms of knowing the history of their country’s birth, the story goes like this–For a good ten years, since the end of the French and Indian war, the storm had been brewing. It was the time of an overbearing British government looking down its nose condescendingly on its American colonial “subjects”, viewing them as inferior creatures who should feel honored with their inferior role as “hewers of wood and carriers of water” for their better brethren in England.

Naturally, the American colonists did not see it this way. They did not accept the theory that between the two peoples there was one who was better or “chosen”. Nor did they accept the manifestations of this mindset on the part of the British that the Americans were created for the sole purpose of providing these “better” people a life of luxury and comfort.

And so, being people who forged an existence out of the wilds of America, of being accustomed to hardship and taking the bull by the horns when a problem arose, the Americans did what any proud people would do when their rights and freedoms were threatened. They complained and petitioned and did the best they could in getting along with this same overbearing British government that would not consider the grievances of “ungrateful” subjects who didn’t appreciate the benefits of the master/slave relationship…

…and then, when it became all-too-obvious that “Plan A” was a waste of time, that there was to be no consensus and that the master holding the whip would hear nothing of treating the slave better, the Americans resorted to “Plan B”. They burned things down, including government offices that functioned as the machinery of depriving them of their rights. They made life a living hell for the officials working for the King in depriving them of their rights, and they did not do it nicely. Had the term existed at that time, they would have been called ‘terrorists’.

And of course, there was the infamous Boston Tea Party, where Americans struck at the heart of British control in the colonies, meaning the pocketbook, by tossing several hundreds crates of British East India tea into Boston Harbor.

The British for their part closed the harbor and imposed a naval blockade, refusing to allow any goods to come or go until all the tea had been paid for. In the meantime, the Americans, knowing what was to come next, started storing up guns and ammo. They started drilling as soldiers in preparation for what they knew (but hoped was not) to be the inevitable.

And then came the infamous day, when the British marched 800 soldiers, Grenadiers, some of the toughest fighting men the King had against the Americans. Their job was to round up the leaders of this movement, seize the guns, ammo and food and try to bring an end to this troublesome little event.

After killing 8 Americans at Lexington Green, they moved on to Concord, where the commanding officer, one Maj. John Pitcairn, set a chair in the middle of the town, drank tea and watched admiringly as his soldiers went and ransacked every home and set fire to the town.

The smoke from the town burning was seen from miles away. Out in the countryside, men grabbed their muskets, kissed their wives and headed off to do what men are programmed to do.

The British has no idea what they were in store for. They assumed that these inept colonials would pose no trouble to them whatsoever and that this little Intifada on the part of the Americans would be over in short order.

What happened instead is that the Americans, knowing that everything of any meaning to them was in jeopardy, swarmed down upon the arrogant, insolent British like a swarm of hornets. The British were forced to flee back to Boston on a 20 mile march that turned into a massacre. The Americans, having learned the art of unconventional war by virtue of having lived among the Indians, hid behind trees and rock walls, hitting and running. They set up ambushes for the British where there was no escape and little chance of surviving. The British, having seriously miscalculated what men are willing to do when their women and children are threatened, cried like whipped children when they arrived back in Boston, having lost close to 250 men. The Americans, knowing that they had to make every shot count had lost only a handful.

The British, despite having suffered such a loss, would have nothing of the idea of being put down by such an inferior group of rabble. They were, after all, a “better people”, who by their obvious superiority were “chosen” to rule the world.

We all know how the story ends. The British got their asses kicked out of America, something which we Americans and other freedom-loving people celebrate on the 4th of July.

And yet, how quickly we forget the whole story. Rather than side with our brothers and sisters in their struggle for freedom, and particularly those in the Middle East trying to rid their lands of foreign occupiers who murder their innocent women and children, we side with the oppressor. We give him all the guns, ammo, money and support these monsters need to do what the British tried doing to our forefathers over 200 years ago. We cheer the slaughter of the innocents, whether it is in Gaza, the West Bank or wherever, having forgotten how the British slaughtered our own at the Boston Massacre. We swallow the lies handed to us by the oppressor and murderer of innocents as much as the hated “Tories” of colonial America sided with a tyrant hell-bent on making us his servants, and even hiring mercenaries to do it. It is a sad sign of the times when Americans–who by their very nature and stated love of truth, justice and the “American way” should side with such creatures as Israel–a nation that has bankrupted us economically and morally, made us the 2nd most hated nation in the world, completely corrupted our political system and killed Americans on several occasions, including but not limited to her deliberate attack on the USS Liberty in 1967–rather than with those seeking the very same thing men such as Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and Patrick Henry achieved. Indeed, had traitorous, subversive individuals such as Abe Foxman, Daniel Pipes, Normon Podhoretz, Steven Emerson, Rahm Emmanuel, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Pearle and the Jewish groups they work for such as the ADL, AIPAC, JINSA, JDL and others been around during the time of the American Revolution, they would have been spying for King George III on our beloved founding fathers, characterizing them as ‘extremists’ and whatnot and colluding with the British to see our war for freedom extinguished. It merely goes to show how successful the half century program of propaganda and mind control has been on the part of a Jewish controlled mass media in turning the American Revolution and the fruits of that revolution on its ear. By siding with the Jewish state in its oppression of the Palestinians, what Americans are saying in effect is–

 “We despise liberty…We despise justice…We repudiate everything our founding fathers fought for and achieved…Long live George III, and may our founding fathers rot in hell for what they did.”

 Well, as the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for America, because some day you may get it. Indeed, America will pay for her sins in betraying her past and her principles by siding with the enemy of all that is good and decent, and one day we will look upon the Palestinians and recognize that we lost our freedom because of the fact we denied them theirs…

...Because indeed, what goes around comes around.

Good analogy, Mark. We were being abused by the British, who saw us as merely an economic commodity - and certainly not deserving of any of the rights accorded to British citizens. The Israelis - and all Jews, really - view the Palestinians - and all non-Jews, really - as less than human. Because the Palestinians dare to resist the degradation and cruelty of the Jews, they are portrayed by the Jewish-owned American media and government as “terrorists.” Unending stories are fed the American SHEEP about how “innocent, hard-working Israelis” are having to deal with terror-bombing and rocket assault, exercising the ultimate in patience, before finally “responding” with attacks. And the ignorant and trusting American sheeple swallow these lies, and shout their hurrahs as American weaponry is used to slaughter the innocents. They are ready to wave that American flag and go “kick some Arab ass” and they admire Israel and the Jews for “resisting terrorism” with an iron fist! This deplorable behavior on the part of the USA will come back to haunt us, and in a vicious and horrible way. And we will DESERVE every bit of it. Such are the wages of ignorance and arrogance. Because of Jewish domination of the flow of information, Americans see the Hamas rockets and suicide bombings as ACTIONS - when in reality, they are REACTIONS. Yes, well put. It was interesting watching Obama on TV today, he looked a bit worried. He’s a smart guy, no doubt about that, smart enough to see this sort of parallel in the current situation. He will also be well aware, no matter what the US public are being led to believe, that this time it’s different. We now have Hamas saying that the time for trying to live in peace with these lying monsters has passed - things could take a serious turn for the worse now. And it is different this time - the rest of the world is uniting and calling a spade a spade. People of conscience from all walks of life are speaking the same words - as George Galloway so eloquently put it (and I paraphrase) “we’re not calling you Nazis, but you are using Nazi tactics”.

I suspect that, not only has the President Elect got his work cut out for him to sort this mess out, he may well have realised that the only solution is for the US to break its special relationship with Israel and return itself to being the great purveyors of liberty and peace that it once was. He knows, that everyone else knows, that the US is not seen as, nor can ever be, an honest broker for peace. Russia know that. China know that. The whole of the Middle East knows that. Everybody knows that.

He must know that to continue to side with Israel can only lead to one place. What thoughts must be going through his head right now?

The ongoing slaughter in the Gaza strip, has recruited more supporters for the Palestinians than ever before. Also, peoples of the world are now seeing Israel for what it is: a mongrel Frankenstein state living off the back of the American taxpayer with Germany making monetary amends on bogus grounds; the latter became the goose that laid the golden egg!!!

Your analogy - Mark - is impeccably correct. I too am somewhat of an historian of the American revolution. Just to put HISTORICAL matters into an even more proper TRUE perspective - it should be noted that the British took many of the prisoners - the ” american terrorists” - as we were for the most part labeled in those days and cast them into ‘prison ships’ anchored off the ‘American’ coast.

The conditions of suffering, torture and depravity - lack of medical care - horrible sanitary conditions with civilian prisoners wallowing in their own feces and urine - were reminicesnt of those described in the Jewish-owned and financed Slave ships later on.

I know, you need not answer. It’s only disturbing when you think Israelis are wrong. Let Hamas butcher scores of Fatah officials, after all it’s only Palestinians killing Palestinians, you will not hear a word about it in the ugly truth. I guess it’s not ugly enough for you. And then there is that funny notion that the Americans were fighting the British to free THEIR country. That country Europeans stole from the Native Americans, whom they butchered until many of their tribes became extinct, and keep the ones who survived in “reservations”. too much Ugly Truth? Look at your sanctimonious selves before passing judgment on people who are really fighting for THEIR country, battling a tough enemy who never asked for a cease fire. On the contrary, to use their own words: “We are waiting to drink the Israeli soldiers blood if they enter Gaza city”. –note from me, MG–again, as is typical of Israel and her supporters, the name of the game when you are cornered with the facts is to CHANGE THE SUBJECT. The fact of the matter is this–there was no such thing as the Middle East problem until Israel came into existence. The fact that you can quote Hamas saying they will drink the blood of the IDF pales in comparison to some of the other quotes piled up high to heaven from Israel and her murderous supporters over the years.

If there is anything to learn from the events of the last few years, it’s that Jews NEVER LEARN. Right now, all the evidence is clear that the reason Jews have been hated and expelled throughout history is because of behavior that is plainly apparent for all to see these days and yet, rather than face these facts, change the way they do things and learn to live fairly with others, their response to the world is one big F*** YOU!!! Is it any wonder then why they hated Jesus Christ so much, yesterday and today, and why He finally gave up on them as well?

I am of the firm belief that the reason the Jews chose to use first England and then America as their host countries in pushing through their designs in the Middle East is because both of them were psychologically “primed’ to do such by virtue of how they treated the various peoples under their power.

A good read. But like all analogies it must fail beyond a certain point. When the Brits were subjugating the American Patriots, The Brits did not have the help of a superpower that manipulates the world into making everybody believe that the evil ones were the Americans not the Brits. There was nobody to confuse the masses about who actually are the victims and who the wicked criminals. There was no Hollywood to portray the uncivilised Americans as irrational inhuman terrorists who choose death rather than life and conversely to portray the Brits as kind, innocent victims who conducted herself with utmost restraint and just had to retaliate against the ungrateful Americans. There was nary a false-flag operation done by the Brits - they were “gentlemen” after all (Historians specialising in American History can correct me if I am wrong). And not to forget, the French were on the side of the American freedom fighters….

Just as in some ways History repeats itself, in some other ways, it doesn't…..

The Palestinians are not just fighting the technologically advanced mighty military machineries of the Zionist Israelis but in fact they are also fighting the Americans. This is for the simple fact that virtually every shell, rocket, and bullet fired by the Israelis including illegal weapons like the Phosphorus fire-bombs are paid for by America. Every international political effort at a fair settlement for the Palestinians have been foiled by the political might of America through the veto power process. Every propaganda blitz portraying Muslims as irrational fanatics is paid for, produced and even starred by Americans because Hollywood is really a cesspool of Zionist actors. Unlike the war between the US and their colonial masters, there is no France for the Palestinians… even the Arab nations have been subverted by Zionist-American-Israeli-European powers which make up the true axis of evil. By all counts, while arguably the Palestinians are walking the footsteps of the American Patriots of yesteryear, I will argue based on the overwhelming odds against them, the Palestinians are truer to their patriotic ideals than the Americans were. This is clear as today we see that Americans have yet to rise up against the subversion of the government by a foreign state to the dire detriment of the American people themselves. So in fact, it is not that the Palestinians are following the foot-steps of the American Revolution, it is more like the Americans of today need to follow the foot-steps of the Palestinians! America no longer symbolises the struggle against occupation and oppression. Today, that symbol is Palestine! While in the face of the ongoing Gaza bombings, protestors are crying “Today we are all Palestinians”, Americans should not claim to be Palestinians until they retake the White-House and literate themselves of being occupied by a foreign state, Zionist Israel.

LaRouche: The Only `Threat’ To Israel Is An Outbreak Of Peace Increase Decrease

December 30, 2008 (LPAC)–Lyndon LaRouche today denounced the Israeli military attack on the Gaza Strip as an act of “supreme insanity,” that could lead to the destruction of Israel altogether. “The idea that Israel can defeat the Palestinians by the kind of military brutality that we have seen over the past 72 hours is the height of insanity,” LaRouche declared. “It is the same insanity that led Israel to attack Lebanon in July 2006, but this time, having seen the consequences of that Lebanon fiasco, it is far more insane.”

LaRouche thoroughly rejected the widely-circulated Israeli argument that Israel faces an existential threat from Iran, and that the attack on Gaza is aimed at destroying Iran’s Hamas assets, which pose a threat of asymmetric war against the population of Israel. “The only `threat’ to Israel is an outbreak of peace. There is no credible threat of war against Israel. The disease is the Sykes-Picot mentality among the Israeli leadership. They have become so accustomed to playing the role of pawns in the British imperial divide-and-conquer games in the region, that they have lost the ability to think in terms of their own self-interests,” LaRouche explained.

“With the incoming Obama Administration in Washington, after eight years of Bush-Cheney madness, we have a genuine opportunity to achieve a peace agreement between Israel and Syria–right away. It could be accomplished on the first afternoon that President Obama is in office. And a Syria-Israel peace deal would immediately be followed by an agreement involving Lebanon. This would dramatically change the dynamic in the entire region, and would set the only conditions for a truly just and viable two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians.

“Such an eruption of peace,” LaRouche continued, “would pose an existential threat to those in the region who remain locked in the Sykes-Picot logic.” The Sykes-Picot Treaty of 1916 between Britain and France, divided the territory of the former Ottoman Empire between the two European colonial powers, and set in motion a perpetual conflict along religious, ethnic and tribal lines that exists to this day. Both the major Zionist movements, particularly the Jabotinskyites, and the Muslim Brotherhood were creations of the Sykes-Picot arrangements. While focusing the bulk of his harsh words on the Israelis for the murderous assault into Gaza, LaRouche also noted that some of the Hamas leadership, as leading figures within the Muslim Brotherhood, are prone to the same self-destructive insanity, that only feeds into the climate of perpetual conflict.

“Isn’t it time to bring an end to this madness? We have,” LaRouche concluded, “a unique opportunity, right now, to reach an historic peace agreement between Israel and Syria and Lebanon. Such an agreement would rapidly lead to a just solution to the Palestine crisis, and that would bring an end to the tyranny of Sykes-Picot, that has crippled this region for the past century. The fact that certain people in Israel, and leading circles in London feel gravely threatened by such an eruption of peace, cannot be an excuse for inaction.”

There are probably a million and one examples throughout the history of the world (of people / countries) where the evil oppressor has been defeated. Surely it is obvious the Palestinian people are doing the same - ridding themselves of the evil oppressor! As for the inane blather about Palestinian rockets - I mean puhlease! I bet most (if not all) of these rockets land in “the occupied territories.” Those territories ARE Palestinian land. When did it become wrong to launch a rocket into your own land? Stupid, maybe - but wrong? NOT! Israel, on the other hand, are guilty of so many war crimes - it makes me wonder why the (Warsaw) wall is around Gaza and not Israel. Imagine the peace in the Middle East if it was actually Israel held in confinement behind a wall? Maybe that idea could be suggested at the UN. It would be one way for Israel to achieve the peace and security they claim the want. And, another thing - If God can give Israel land - why can’t he give them a whole other planet? Peace on Earth - works for me!

I agree with what you say … there are dark evil forces at work out there in the real world and cyber space….so much so that I look at most things with a critical mindset before jumping to conclusions. I've been looking at you tube today and looking at all the hatred in the comments in relation to the shooting of the black guy who was handcuffed and shot by the cop and I read all the hate mongers comments that just reminds me of the Palestinian and Israeli conflict pure evil from all quarters and the internet has blown my mind with what I now know although its steeped with disinfomation as well. I know 911 was a massive fraud I know about USS liberty and I no longer believe msm….going back to the cop shooting I truly believe something is not right with that incident and know that it is not beyond the powers that be to place people under mind control and have them carry out acts of murder or terrorism to create whatever intentions they so desire. I believe the military/security services have used Muslims to that effect and the cop incident maybe an attempt to create the conditions for race war….I know you are going to put me in the conspiracy camp and at the end of the day we can prove nothing but I've always had a 6th sense and it’s proven to be a blessing. although I a somewhat a loner probably because I've found myself being right about folks more often than not….I know we all face grave dangers ahead possibly nuclear war …..

Honest, accurate, intelligent article. To say it hits the nail on the head is an understatement. You, Mark Glenn, are one of the few true remaining American patriots. It is unfortunate that perhaps only 1% of the American population can lay claim to the same. You speak the truth and say it like it is and more power to you.

If 10% of Americans were as brave and courageous as yourself the problems in the Middle East and America and other parts would not exist because they would know who the real terrorists and traitors and murderers are (i.e. Zionist Israelis) and they would be quickly scuttled out of the country and America would be a country for Americans and a true beacon for the world to emulate. But that unfortunately is not reality because so many Americans could hardly be considered Americans at all and are part of the problem by aiding and abetting theirZionist terrorist owners. All they need is a “I love King George the III” or “I support jewish terrorism” shirt. If the founding fathers were alive today to see what has happened to what they and their fellow countrymen fought and sacrificed so much for they would surely suffer heart attacks and die on the spot.

It is a sad commentary on modern day America when the Palestinian people must emulate what our forefathers did and teach us what America was founded on. I keep my fingers crossed for the Palestinians and perhaps one day we can relearn our history and follow their lead and once again be the real America. But I fear only a second revolution and accompanying civil war will reach those ends. And if it comes to that we will only have ourselves to blame for being so slovenly and ignorant and allowing the born murderer jew terrorists to steal our land and turn us into the biggest terrorist since the start of the 20th century and one of the most hated countries in the history of planet earth. Well written yet again, Mark, however I have to agree with another poster that your excellent analogy may have been more apt to the Native Americans. Although I can see where you are coming from and the message you wish to convey to the American public in regards to the wanton Israeli slaughter of the innocents in Gaza et al. One issue I cannot get my head around is your seemingly “blind hatred” of all things Jewish, and after reading one of your earlier articles where you lambasted an organisation that “muddied the waters” of the discussion to pretend that they were “ordinary” Jews, rather than Zionist butchers, was a very good rebuttal of their “smokescreen”. Nonetheless, I cannot tar all Americans, British etc with the same brush as their evil Governments, so why would we wish to do that with the Israelis, although I have really felt like going down that path often, I still think it would be wrong. –note from me, MG–my “blind hatred” of all things Jewish can be compared to someone being unequivocal in his or her position that tobacco products are inherently bad for the health of the body, whether they have filters on them or not, and sticking to their guns that they are poisonous and should be considered as such instead of trying to make distinctions between the various brands and styles. I am again at Ramattan watching these weird phosphorus bombs falling on the city.

Gazans fear Israel using phosphorus

Doctors in Gaza City have told Al Jazeera that people have been admitted suffering burns consistent with the use of the controversial chemical white phosphorus.

Human rights campaigners say that Israeli forces have used the munitions, which can burn away human flesh to the bone, over Gaza City and Jabaliya in recent days.

Al Jazeera’s Ayman Mohyeldin, reporting from the Shifa hospital in Gaza City, said: “Doctors here say they are seeing unprecedented levels of deep burns.

“They cannot categorically say that white phosphorus is being used, they are saying that the munitions being dropped are unprecendented.”

In 1941 Charles Portal of the British Air Staff advocated that entire cities and towns should be bombed. Portal claimed that this would quickly bring about the collapse of civilian morale in Germany. Air Marshall Arthur Harris agreed and when he became head of RAF Bomber Command in February 1942, he introduced a policy of area bombing (known in Germany as terror bombing) where entire cities and towns were targeted.

One tactic used by the Royal Air Force and the United States Army Air Force was the creation of firestorms. This was achieved by dropping incendiary bombs, filled with highly combustible chemicals such as magnesium, phosphorus or petroleum jelly (napalm), in clusters over a specific target. After the area caught fire, the air above the bombed area, become extremely hot and rose rapidly. Cold air then rushed in at ground level from the outside and people were sucked into the fire.

In 1945, Arthur Harris decided to create a firestorm in the medieval city of Dresden. He considered it a good target as it had not been attacked during the war and was virtually undefended by anti-aircraft guns. The population of the city was now far greater than the normal 650,000 due to the large numbers of refugees fleeing from the advancing Red Army.

On the 13th February 1945, 773 Avro Lancasters bombed Dresden. During the next two days the USAAF sent over 527 heavy bombers to follow up the RAF attack. Dresden was nearly totally destroyed. As a result of the firestorm it was afterwards impossible to count the number of victims. Recent research suggest that 35,000 were killed but some German sources have argued that it was over 100,000.

Given that Israel has committed and is right now committing war crimes in the Gaza ( their terror is not finished), I would hope that LaRouche and others proposing solutions here, would support the prosecution of the responsible parties in the IDF and in the Israeli leadership for war crimes.

Too often I see people like LaRouche propose a “peace” deal where the war crimes and everything else is swept under the rug. It is also necessary that the International Community move to impose sanctions on Israel until it disarms of its weapons of mass destruction and withdraws well within its 1967 borders (possibly back to the border established in the UN approved Partition of 1949),.

And as Paul Craig Roberts says if if Israel has a right to exist why not Palestine?

Complacency is the worst thing in the world for human beings because the enemy can be right outside and they won’t see it. That’s what we are faced with. The American print and TV media has never been very good. These days it is horrible. If a person intends to be informed, he must turn to foreign news broadcasts, to Internet sites, to foreign newspapers available on the Internet, or to alternative newspapers that are springing up in various cities. A person who sits in front of Murdoch’s Fox “News” or CNN or who reads the New York Times is simply being brainwashed with propaganda.

Before conservatives nod their heads in agreement, I’m not referring to “the liberal media.” I mean the propaganda that issues from the US government and the Israel Lobby.

It was neoconservative Bush regime propaganda fed to America through Judith Miller and the New York Times and through Murdoch’s Fox “News” that convinced Americans that they were in danger from a small secular Arab country half way around the globe called Iraq. It was the American media that convinced Americans that getting rid of dangerous “weapons of mass destruction,” weapons that did not exist in Iraq, would be a cakewalk paid for by Iraqi oil revenues.

It is the same propagandistic American print and TV media that has rationalized Bush’s illegal invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan based on seven years of lies and deception.
