Hilary Clinton Threatens to Obliterate Iran for Israel !!!

Hilary Clinton's remark on ABC Good Morning America

Sen. Hilary Clinton forceful rhetoric on  “Good Morning America” with Chris Cuomo, on April 22nd, 2008, calling to “obliterate” Iran should Tehran develop a nuclear weapon and use it against Israel were provocative, unwarranted, irresponsible and highly unbecoming for a member of US senate.

Sen. Clinton’s remark is an assertion of our great nation, America, to commit genocide on an unprecedented scale. The Senator’s rhetoric demeans both herself and the party she represents, particularly at a time when the entire Middle East is in turmoil.

American Muslims strongly condemned Senator remarks as outrageous, inflammatory and un-American. The Senator's inflammatory comments do nothing to advance America's role in the world as the leading voice for diplomacy and should be soundly condemned as election rhetoric appeasing the neo-conservatives, Zionist lobby and an attempt to portray herself as an aggressive commander-in-chief. Her remarks are a clear signal of desperation, jeopardizing the national security. The Senator’s promise to “obliterate” Iran is not just phony but also obscene. You don’t threaten to wipe out a nation, except for your own survival.

At present, America needs a new foreign policy – one centered on resolving regional and global conflicts through diplomacy. However, Senator Clinton has chosen a policy of  intimidation and prolonging the conflict. The present U.S policy of deterrence, sanctions, and threat of war has failed.  What we need is not threats, but diplomacy and avoid  military confrontation.

Senator Clinton is absolutely right that the United States has enough nuclear weapons to incinerate and obliterate all eighty million people in Iran many times over. But first, she has to win the presidential election. If elected as president,  President Hilary R. Clinton would not hesitate to kill millions of people on behalf of her friends in Israel. But does Israel need America to obliterate Iran? No!  Israel is perfectly capable of destroying Iran without American help because it has over two hundred nuclear warheads. Senator Clinton and all US politicians know that there is some political mileage to be gained by supporting Israel.

However, no sane conservative and neo-cons would want to nuke Iran, even Ronald Regan hated the nuclear standoff with Soviets. He seized the opportunity to negotiate, Regan had no desire to hurt people and considered nukes as truly a weapon of last resort. Neither Iran nor any other Muslim country will ever attempt to attack Israel with nuclear missiles. Moreover, Jerusalem (Al-Quds ) has the third holiest Islamic site, known as Al-Aqsa Mosque, which also was the first Qibla – direction for  the prayers for Muslims. Muslims adore, respect, and  love Jerusalem as the stop of Prophet Muhammad’s nocturnal trip (Mi'araj)  to Heavens. Jerusalem is also par excellence for all three Abraham religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam. For Muslims Al-Quds is such a sacred city that it is utterly pathetic to even consider destruction of the city of  Prophet Sulaiman (Solomon),  Prophet Issa (Jesus), Prophet Nooh (Noah), Prophet Dawood (David), and other Prophets. It is also the city whereby the second  coming of Jesus Christ and the appearance of Al-Mahdi will take place.

True to form, Senator Hilary Clinton  has crossed the line, by showing  her ignorance of international politics.  It is irresponsible that such comments are coming from a presidential candidate. America's image is damaged by such inciting and irresponsible rhetoric, at a time when we are trying to demand that other countries challenge their own religious extremists. All religious and political leaders should project true American values of tolerance and pluralism by condemning Senators remarks in an interview with Chris Cuomo on “ABC  Good Morning America.”

Super Delegates! Don’t ask Sen. Clinton to “apologize,”   Vote for Senator Obama.
