US House Res. 362, In effect, A
Declaration of War on Iran

Here we go again and this time the consequences from such action
could be catastrophic. Congress looks set to pass a resolution this
coming week calling for the President to enact stricter economic
sanctions against Iran. US House Res. 362 demands "stringent
inspection requirements on all persons, vehicles, ships, planes,
trains and cargo entering or departing Iran, including an embargo
against any imports of refined petroleum." In effect, A Declaration
of War!
All this is being done to supposedly prevent Iran from building
nuclear weapons, even though both the NIE (National Intelligence
Estimate) and the reports of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy
Agency) contradict such an assessment.
And why is it OK for Israel, India and Pakistan to have nuclear
capabilities - but not Iran? And how do you think Iran is going to
respond if threatened with such closure? One missile launched across
the twenty mile wide Strait of Hormuz at 700 mph pointed at an oil
tanker bigger than the Empire State building would virtually
shut-down all exports of oil.
And if one thinks the price of gasoline is high now, plan on
spending $6 to $8 a gallon if such a scenario were to happen. And if
Israel were to launch an unprovoked attack on Iran and destroy a
fuelled nuclear reactor, what would Iran have to lose by launching
their missiles at Dimona, where Israeli's clandestine nuclear
program is carried out? The whole Middle East would go up in flames!
Not since the Cuban missile crises has the world faced such
frightening futures.
The US economy already hangs precariously by a thread, its
financial system on life support as the price of oil rises and the
value of the dollar fades. If this resolution is passed by Congress
and if an Israeli attack occurs, we might be witnessing a complete
meltdown of not only the world's economy, but its survival as well.
"Now is the time that tries men's souls."
Wake up America before it's too late.
