An Open Letter of Support to Barack Obama
By Steve Moyer ccun.org, February 13, 2008 Dear Senator Obama;
I have started to distribute this piece of political propaganda.
Please understand me correctly.
I am opposed to the Republican party. I perceive Hillary Clinton as a "closet Republican."
I have said "A vote for Hillary is a vote for a Republican."
I speak the truth.
Please download it and distribute it in any manner you think
appropriate.
Hillary needs to be taken down for a variety of reasons. The most
poignant is that we need to end this insane cycle between
Bushes and Clintons.
She has never recanted her vote to authorize the President to
declare war against the nation of Iraq.
That was a mistake for many reasons, most significant among them
an unconstitutional transfer of power.
I encourage you to "speak the truth" about Senator
Hillary Clinton in all political dimensions and on all political
issues. Keep it from getting personal at your level. We will take
care of the personal dimension.
I endorse your candidacy. In my judgment you are the best candidate
of either party because you are "teaching virtue" to Americans.
That was the primary position I advocated, in
my race for the
U.S. Senate in 2006.
Think virtue. Teach virtue. Live virtue. It's the solution in the "big picture."
I give you my best blessings! Please come to Vermont so we can
honor you and your inspiring message.
Sincerely,
Steve Moyer
