The Causes of Moro and Palestine

In any sportsmanship game,
when there is no level playing field, or the referees are found to be
partial, either team has the tendency to lose its playing mettle. And
when the team loses its mettle, it is prone to apply unsportsmanlike
tactics to achieve victory.
Such a situation also applies to
political and ideological armed conflicts. Who then would most likely to
be blamed, only the team or the referees first and foremost?
For
instance, the case of Palestine and other struggling Muslims all over
the world, whose adversaries are identified with anti-Muslims and
Islam-basher-superpowers, is an epitome of a non-level playing field.
The former are being unjustly divested of their legitimate rights, their
refugees are neither allowed to return to their homes nor given
compensation for their loss and human suffering. Their attempts for
redress of grievances are considered as acts of terrorism, while the
terrorist acts that are applied to deny them of their human and
legitimate rights have become the norms and standard of the 21st Century
World Order.
The effect of man'??s inhumanity to man as
reflected by the Zionist government'??s attitude against Palestinians,
in cahoots with the brainwashed section of the international community,
including some Muslims kept hostage by their lust for power, has driven
sympathizing Muslims in other parts of the world to undertake Jihad in
their own stride to avenge the death and destruction of their hapless
brothers and sisters in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Mindanao (Moro),
Myanmar (Rohingya), Chechnya and South Thailand, to cite only the most
hardly hit by the destructive neo-world order mechanism.
Mumbai
episode
What happened in Mumbai, India, recently is one case in
point. It would be inappropriate to tag Pakistan as the brain of the
â?terror?? operation by a still unnamed group. It would also be wrong
to fault Islam as the source of inspiration for the â?militant
Muslims?? who undertook the operation. Should there be anyone to blame,
all fingers must be pointed at the powers- that-be which have control
and influence in the â?terrorised?? territory. There have been
concerted efforts to perpetuate injustices and violations of human
rights against the weak, especially Muslims. Now, the anti-Muslim
elements are getting the dose of their own medicines.
The
Mumbai episode may not be just an isolated incident. For as long as the
root cause of injustices and the man-made sufferings of Muslims are not
addressed, for so long the world will have to bear such a deplorable
situation. Lucky would be the like of Australia which had successfully
â?foiled a terrorist?? plot (see Failed Jihad and some lessons to
learn??, on
http://camlun.multiply.com) against its uncalled-for participation
in the superpower-led unjust war against Iraq.
We all are aware
how the rests of the world are being manipulated through the controlled
print and electronic media to accept the Israeli government'??s inhuman
treatment of the Palestinians. Likewise, we are witnesses to the
American government'??s whip-cracking of Third World nations to support
its (Israeli-demanded) war on Iraq to achieve their conjugal ulterior
national interests. For Israel, the Iraqi military potential to destroy
its national existence was de-capacitated. For the USA, their voracious
plan to control the black gold and political developments in the region
was finally achieved.
The Moro front
In Muslim Mindanao,
South Philippines, a war of attrition is recurring. The volatile
situation was initiated by the USA when in 1935, prior to granting the
Philippines its independence in 1946, it decided to force the Moro
people to accept the merger with Filipinos amidst fierce Moro protests.
Today, the Americans have again struck another pact with the Philippine
government (GRP), circumventing the Philippine Constitution which
prohibits foreign military forces from operating in the territory. The
GRP allowed the US Army to establish military camps in Mindanao, on the
pretext of training and helping the Armed Forces of the Philippines
(AFP) decimate the Abu Sayyaf (ASG) â?terroristâ?? group and the Moro
liberation fronts. True to the alleged pact, the Green Berets had on
various occasions been seen providing special training and expertise to
the AFP. The latest episode, based on testimony of Moro civilians who
survived the massacre, was in Maimbung, Sulu, where eight civilians,
including four children and an integrated Phil. Army corporal (former
MNLF combatant) who was shot at point blank while being tied lying face
down, in the presence of his wife. All these blatant human rights
violations, reported by no less than the UN Human Rights Commission,
were reversed by the Philippine justice system.
The Supreme
Court of the Philippines, which ruled as unconstitutional - the much
touted Memorandum of Agreement on Ancestral Domain (MoA-AD) that took
Philippine government (GRP) and Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF)
peace panels around a decade to complete, is the mother of the unjust
system against the Bangsamoro people.
Being victimized by a â?conglomerateâ??
of un-Islamic forces working in tandem against the achievement of
Bangsamoro self-determination and freedom is understandable. But when it
involves certain members of the so-called Islamic community to play an
integral part of the â?spoilers of Moro self-determination and
independenceâ??, it would seem incorrigible even if it serves a
temporal, national or communal interest to certain extent.
Be
that as it may, the Moro Freedom fighters are not wavering and shall
remain steadfast in their resolve to finish the task that has been
devolved by Divine Providence. They are even proud to have been given
the opportunity to undertake the rare feat in the way of â??Jihad
Fi-Sabilillah.â?? Since there is no compulsion in religion (Islam), let
everyone choose which way to take side. Like a number of Moro strugglers
who had served the Cause with their sweat and blood for years, some
still traded their heavenly merits for vanity when the enemies of Islam
opened their gates to â?amnestyâ?? and other material dialectics, that
pave the way through vain glory and self-destructing â?paradise on
earthâ??.
