The Site Institute is the source of threats to Swedish journalists and companies

You might have seen Sweden mentioned in the media lately. A drawing insulting Prophet Mohammed was published by a local paper, to “support freedom of speech” (Ernst Zundel has been sentenced to five years in prison for denying the Holocaust, yet the very same paper doesn’t care about him, meaning freedom of speech is only important when defamation of Muslims are involved).

Things have gotten worse in the last few days as the drawer and the editor have been threatened of death. This was in a tape which some neocon organisation monitoring “Islamo-fascists” somehow managed to get its hands on. The person, who may or may not exist, is supposedly an al-Qaeda leader in Iraq.

Just recently, it was revealed that 100 Swedish companies have been threatened by these Muslim "extremists." It turns out that none of them has received any direct threat, but it’s a privately-funded neconon institute in Washington, called the SITE Institute, which has compiled the list. However, as you know, the media don’t question these claims and the situation has therefore become much worse.

I from a friend that the SITE Institute not only compiled the list of the Swedish companies but is also the source of the tape on which death-threats against the cartoonist and the editor are pronounced.

Look at this URL: http://www.nationalreview.com/comment/comment-katz-devon071403.asp

It’s an article written by the two founders of SITE, one of them being the Iraqi-born Israeli Rita Katz.

The Zionists are really exploiting the situation, that’s for sure.
