Legitimate Questions About The Israeli Lobbies In The West By Ali Al-Hail ccun.org, September 18, 2007
It's not a stretch to claim, as do many that, to the US-led-International community, Israel is a red line when it comes to dealing with the Middle East. Hence, the sustainable crisis in the Middle East derives from the widespread observation that, the US-led-International community only, looks through the Israeli eyes into the Middle East issues, including those of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Consequently, many argue that, as long as this orthodox dogma prevails, the Middle East numerous issues would always be beyond potential solutions. One presumes, as do many that, the powerful Israeli Lobbies in the US-led-International community have nearly, over the four (4) decades been feeding into this most ironic phenomenon. Obviously, questions arise about from where do the Israeli Lobbies in the West obtain their pervasive impact upon Western policies in the Middle East? Do they, for instance acquire it from the apparently, well-traded Holocaust? Accordingly, do they sustain their power by cautioning the Western World that, any criticism of Israel would possibly, lead to another holocaust, and the Western World, had it happened would have once more, again been directly, responsible for it, as they were during the Nazi-Europe holocaust? Is it the well-performed play by the Israeli Lobbies on the European Guilt that, holds firm this most odd phenomenon? Is it the Israeli lobbies huge finances, their alleged control of the banks in the U.S.A. and Europe? Is it the nature of Western presidential (and parliamentarian) election campaigns that, require massive resources and the perceived Israeli lobbies active roles in funding the nominee who would be willing to support Israel? Is it the Israeli lobbies successful manipulation of the media and press utilization in addressing Israel as a vulnerable and defenseless state that, Arabs have consistently, denied its 'historical' rights in the Middle East? Certainly, they have succeeded in keeping he holocaust alive albeit, it had occurred almost eight (8) decades ago. Or else, is it being a minority in the Western World which had ignited them to be well-educated and seek key posts on the governmental level? One would guess it's the combination of all these factors that, make the Israeli lobbies arguably, the channel through which strategic decisions get filtered down to Western governments. |
