Ahmadinejad told the truth: Why must Palestinians pay? By Khalid Amayreh PIC, October 3, 2007
In his landmark address before students and faculty at Columbia University in New York Monday, 24 September, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke on behalf of hundreds of millions of human beings around the world, including millions of Americans, who are disgusted with George Bush’s criminality, hypocrisy and mendacity. Ahmadinejad posed many legitimate questions which Israel supporters have been striving for ages to keep off the conscience of the world. The fact that these questions were posed and highlighted at a respectable forum where the eyes of the world were focused, made the mad dogs of Zionism go quite rabid. Ahmadinejad simply asked the question often asked by hundreds of millions of ordinary Arabs and Muslims as well other conscientious people around the world.:” Why is it that the Palestinian people are paying the price for an event they had nothing to do with?” And “if the holocaust did happen, why must the Palestinians pay?” Yes, why? Why? Why? These questions and other remarks made by the young Iranian leader shocked Israel's fanatical supporters and apologists in the US who, predictably, resorted to name-calling, personal attacks and red-herring tactics aimed at vilifying the elected president of 72 million people and diverting attention from Zionist savagery and brutality in Palestine. If anything, the vile response was a clarion testimony to the intellectual bankruptcy of Zionism. Indeed, instead of objectively and honestly relating to Ahmadinejad’s logical remarks about Israel’s Gestapo-like tactics against the helpless Palestinians, Zionist leaders from Israeli-occupied Jerusalem to Israeli-occupied Congress were caught off balance by the audacity and shocking veracity of the Iranian leader’s speech. Columbia University President Lee Bollinger, eager to appease Zionist critics who had objected to his decision to invite Ahmadinejad to speak at CU, launched a virulent personal attack on the Iranian leader. Bollinger remarks clearly lacked civility, politeness and human decency. “Mr. President, you exhibit al the signs of a petty and cruel dictator,” said Bollinger. Well, if Ahmadinejad was a cruel dictator, then how would George W. Bush look like? Does this Bollinger know how many hundreds of thousands of innocent people were killed or died as a direct or indirect result of Bush’s criminal policies around the world? Does he understand what it means to invade, occupy and destroy a sovereign country based on sheer lies and concocted pretexts? Does he realize the direct and indirect implications of arming an Israel that has more in common with the Mein Kampf of Adolph Hitler than with the Torah of Moses, to her teeth in order to enable her to carry out a creeping genocide against the peoples of the Middle East, as we saw recently in Lebanon and Gaza? Besides, does Bollinger really think that one holocaust justify the perpetration of another holocaust, however slow in motion, against a totally innocent people whose only fault is its political and military weakness? And, speaking of petty cruel dictators, doesn’t Bollinger know that his own country is the main, if not sole, protector and sponsor and sustainer of “petty dictators” around the world. Well, I guess we don’t have to name these dictators who torment and kill their own masses on America’s behalf? It really seems that arrogant Bushies like Bollinger speak faster than they think. Otherwise, they would exercise a modicum of rationality and rectitude. The fact they don’t reflect the extent to which the American public discourse has been inundated by this mindless fascism that is already poisoning international relations and threatening widespread tribulations in many parts of the globe that only God knows where it will lead and how it will end. Reacting to Ahmadinejad’s speech at CU, the heads of major Jewish (Zionist) organizations in the US seemed to enjoy calling Ahmadinejad “Hitler” and similar names. Well, if Hitler was like Ahmadinejad whose country is home to the largest Jewish community in the Middle East outside occupied Palestine, then Hitler must have been a good man, indeed. And, yes, we should then love and respect the Fuhrer. Don’t these confused Zionist werewolves realize that they are cheapening the Jewish tragedy during the Second World War by constantly vilifying critics of Israel’s wicked behavior and comparing them with Hitler? Do they really think that the world can be bullied into digesting and imbibing Zionist lies for ever and ever? Well, even in the US, where the Zionist stranglehold on public opinion and national discourse is taken for granted, many Americans are already beginning to wake up and ask questions Zionists don’t like to hear. The recent publication of two landmark books on Israeli hegemony over American policies and politics ( “Palestine: Peace not Apartheid,” by former President Jimmy Carter and “The Israeli lobby and US Foreign Policy,” by John J. Mersheimer and Stephen M. Walt) is proving to be an effective eye-opener for many Americans and westerners who for generations grew up consuming Zionist disinformation and lies. It is time these deceitful evil men realize that they can’t deceive the world forever. And if they don’t desist from their evil ways, their Third Temple will eventually meet the same fate that the first and second temples faced. It is really sad and lamentable that the fate of most Jews has been entrusted to these arrogant liars. Really sad.
