The US Should Not Have Invaded and Occupied Iraq

The following is an amazing video interview with the US Vice President, Dick Cheney, in 1994.
Cheney then was well aware that the US invasion and occupation of Iraq, if attempted in 1991, would have been a disaster.
He had a clear vision, then, that had this happened, the US would have been alone as an occupation force fighting the Iraqi people and taking huge losses.
Cheney also predicted that had the US invaded Iraq in 1991, the country would have disintegrated and partitioned into smaller entities.
So, what happened to WISE Cheney? Why did he invade Iraq in 2003?
