While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Martyrs, injuries reported in Israeli airstrikes on Syria

Thursday 3-April-2025

DAMASCUS, (PIC)

A number of civilians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli offensive that targeted at dawn Thursday 'Harsh Al-Jubailiya in the western countryside of Dar'a in Syria, following other airstrikes targeting Hama airport, Damascus and Homs countryside.

The governor of Dar'a, told Arabi TV, “We have mobilized medical teams and we will bury the bodies of nine martyrs this afternoon.”

He explained that Israeli occupation forces, for the first time, carried out ground incursions in Syrian agricultural areas, stressing that the people reject any communication with the Israeli occupation and that the leadership in Damascus is authorized to speak on their behalf, revealing that Horan residents will organize a protest rally against Israeli violations of Syrian territory.

He emphasized that Israeli occupation forces withdrew after their incursion from two axes.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Syrian Foreign Ministry announced that Israel launched raids on the 'Hama military airport, destroying the airport and injuring civilians and military personnel.

Furthermore, Syrian military sources told Al Jazeera that Israeli fighter jets bombed the Scientific Research Building in the Masakin Barza neighborhood of Damascus.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent also quoted a military source as saying that Israeli warplanes targeted the T-4 military airport in the Homs desert in central Syria.

The official Syrian News Agency (SANA) said, “A raid by Israeli occupation aircraft targeted the vicinity of the Scientific Research Building in the Masakin Barza neighborhood in Damascus,” adding that “a raid by Israeli occupation aircraft targeted the surroundings of the city of Hama.”

The 'Hama Governorate channel said on Telegram, “Israeli occupation warplanes targeted Hama military airport and its surroundings with more than 10 airstrikes.”

The Israeli army said in a statement that it “raided in the last hours military capabilities that remained in the area of the Hama and T4 bases, as well as several military infrastructures that remained in the Damascus area, adding that it “will continue to work to remove” what it claimed was “any threat to the citizens of Israel.”

A number of people were injured after more than 11 airstrikes targeted the Hama military airport in the center of the country, with photos showing the first moments of the shelling on the airport.

“The repeated Israeli attacks are a clear attempt to normalize violence again inside the country,” the Syrian Foreign Ministry said, adding that “the Israeli escalation is unjustified and is a deliberate attempt to destabilize Syria and prolong the suffering of its people.”

The ministry condemned “this aggression and blatant violation of international law” and called on “the international community to pressure Israel to stop its aggression and abide by international law.”

On an almost daily basis, Israel has been launching airstrikes on Syria for months, killing civilians and destroying military sites, vehicles and ammunition of the Syrian army.

Israel carried out airstrikes on Syria for years during the rule of deposed President Bashar al-Assad, targeting what it described as military facilities linked to Iran and arms transfers from Tehran to Lebanese 'Hizbullah.

Since 1967, Israel has occupied most of Syria’s Golan Heights, and took advantage of the current situation in Syria after the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime to occupy the buffer zone after announcing the collapse of the 1974 disengagement agreement between the two sides.

BEIRUT, (PIC)

Israeli warplanes bombed on Thursday morning the town of Al-Naqoura, Soor (Tyre) district, in southern Lebanon, targeting a house and a health center.

IOFs assault Palestinian journalists in southern Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

Thursday 3-April-2025

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) assaulted a number of Palestinian journalists after storming Al-Duhaisha refugee camp, south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) in the West Bank, on Wednesday evening.

The Asra Media Office said that Israeli soldiers detained and assaulted journalists Khalid Abu 'Aisha, Mu'adth 'Amarna, and Aya Ramadhan who were covering the IOFs raid in Al-Duhaisha refugee camp.

Asra Media explained that Israeli soldiers stole Abu Aisha’s wallet and smashed journalist' Amarna’s cellphone during their coverage of the raid.

Earlier, a large number of Israeli troops stormed Al-Duheisha camp in Bethlehem and broke into and ransacked homes during their two-hour raid.

The IOF also delivered written ultimatums, threatening the Palestinians in the camp with a fate similar to that of the northern West Bank refugee camps, where families were forcibly displaced and homes were destroyed.

The New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) said a record number of journalists were killed globally in 2024, with Israel responsible for nearly 70 percent of the deaths.

In a recent report, CPJ said at least 124 journalists were killed in 18 countries in 2024, amounting to the deadliest year for reporters and media workers since the committee started recording the numbers more than three decades ago.

CPJ said that 85 journalists were killed by Israeli forces in Gaza last year and accused Israel of attempting to stifle investigations of killing incidents, shift blame onto journalists and ignore its obligations to hold people to account for the killings.

CPJ added that 180 journalists and media workers had been killed by Israel in Gaza since the war began on October 7, 2023, while the Paris-based Reporters Without Borders said that Israeli forces had killed over 200 journalists and media workers since the beginning of the war.

Another recent US report from Brown University’s Costs of War Project said that the Israeli war on Gaza had killed more journalists than the US Civil War, World Wars I and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the wars in Yugoslavia, and the post-9/11 war in Afghanistan combined.

As of March 26, at least 232 journalists and media workers have been killed in Gaza since the war began, according to the Costs of War Project.

Reham Al-Jaafari, Advocacy Director at ActionAid, said that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has surpassed catastrophe, describing it as unprecedented, given the lack of food, water, and fuel, and the complete collapse of the health sector.

Al-Jaafari explained in an interview with Voice of Palestine Radio that the continued closure of the crossings has led to a severe shortage of basic supplies. Bakeries have been completely closed, leaving citizens unable to obtain food, while community kitchens have stopped providing hot meals due to fuel shortages.

UNRWA Commissioner-General slams Israel's killing of nine children sheltering inside UN building in northern Gaza

RAMALLAH, April 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said that nine children were killed in the Israeli occupation forces' bombing of a UN building in the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

This came in a post by the UN official on X platform, commenting on the Israeli army's targeting of a UNRWA building in the northern Gaza Strip.

Lazzarini added, "Even rubble has become a target, as Israeli forces targeted the UNRWA building in Jabalya, northern Gaza," noting that the targeted UNRWA building had previously been used as a health center and had sustained extensive damage at the beginning of the attacks.

He explained that "according to initial reports, the building was sheltering 700 people when it was targeted, and that nine children, including a two-week-old infant, were among the victims."

Lazzarini indicated that those displaced by the aggression on the Gaza Strip have nowhere to go, and that even after the UNRWA building was targeted, those who had taken refuge there continued to remain there.

He pointed out that since the beginning of the aggression, more than 300 UN buildings were damaged or completely destroyed.

Lazzarini added that more than 700 people were killed while seeking UN protection during the Israeli bombing of Gaza. He stressed that the disregard for UN facilities, staff, and operations constitutes a violation of international law, calling for an independent investigation into the attacks targeting UN facilities.

UN Human Rights Chief condemns killing of Gaza humanitarian workers by Israeli army

Wednesday 2-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

UN Human Rights Chief Volker Türk has condemned the killing of Gaza humanitarian workers by the Israeli army on Wednesday.

“I condemn the attack by the Israeli army on a medical and emergency convoy on 23 March, resulting in the killing of 15 medical personnel and humanitarian workers in Gaza,” he said

“The subsequent discovery of their bodies eight days later in Rafah, buried near their clearly marked destroyed vehicles, is deeply disturbing.”

The UN official said that the incident raises significant questions with regard to the conduct of the Israeli army during and in the aftermath of the incident.

He further stressed that medical personnel and humanitarian and emergency workers must be protected by all parties to the conflict, as required by international humanitarian law.

“Such disappearances and killings raise serious concerns as tens of thousands of Palestinians need help while they are reportedly trapped in Tal Al-Sultan, Rafah, with the entire governorate under a displacement order.”

He held Israel, as the occupying power, responsible for protecting civilians and facilitating their access to basic lifesaving services, including healthcare.

“My Office has on several occasions raised concerns about the detention and killing of medical and emergency personnel in Gaza, who are working under extremely difficult conditions. Hundreds of them have been killed over the past 18 months.”

“The fate and whereabouts of the last member of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society who remains missing must be clarified. There must be an independent, prompt and thorough investigation into the incident and those responsible for any violation of international law must be held to account.”

Qatar denounces Ben-Gvir's storming of Al-Aqsa and Israeli's targeting of UNRWA clinic in Gaza

RAMALLAH, April 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

Qatar condemned the Israeli Minister of National Security's storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation police, forcing worshippers out of the mosque, and the occupation forces' bombing of a clinic affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Jabalya refugee camp in the northern Gaza

In a statement, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the repeated attempts to undermine the religious and historical status of Al-Aqsa Mosque constitute an assault not only on Palestinians but on millions of Muslims around the world.

It warned of the consequences of continuing such violations against the Palestinian people and their Islamic and Christian holy sites, and the resulting expansion of the cycle of violence in the region.

The Ministry stressed the need for the international community to assume its responsibilities and firmly confront the repeated Israeli attacks on civilian facilities, including hospitals, and to work to provide full protection for unarmed civilians and workers in UN organizations and the humanitarian sector.

It also reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on the just Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, including the full right to practice their religious rituals without restrictions and to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
