Five Palestinians Killed, Scores Injured and Abducted, Homes Demolished by Israeli Occupation Soldiers

June 2, 2022

Editor's Note:

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

IMEMC, June 2, 2022

On Thursday dawn, Israeli occupation soldiers killed a young Palestinian man after the army invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Dozens of soldiers invaded the refugee camp from several directions before storming and ransacking many homes, leading to protests.

The soldiers fired a barrage of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at the protesters and surrounding homes.

Medical sources have confirmed that an Israeli army sharpshooter occupying a rooftop of a Palestinian home killed a young man after shooting him with a live round in the heart.

The Palestinian Health Ministry officially identified the slain young man as former political prisoner Ayman Mahmoud Muhaisin, 29.

The Palestinian was not participating in the protests and his killed while walking near his home when the soldiers shot him.

Palestine TV said Aman’s father suffered a mild heart attack after hearing the news about his son’s killing and was rushed to a hospital in Bethlehem.

The soldiers also shot another young man with a live round in the leg.

The soldiers abducted two Palestinians, Issa Shadi Ma’ali, 20, and former political prisoner Abdullah Nayef Ramadan, 30, from their homes in the refugee camp.

The soldiers invaded the Ma’ali family home to abduct Jad but could not find him and decided to abduct his brother, Issa, to pressure Jad into turning himself in to the army.

The invasion was initially conducted by undercover forces driving a car with Palestinian license plates before many army jeeps invaded the refugee camp.

On Wednesday evening, a Palestinian man, who was seriously injured during the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip in May of 2021, died from his wounds at a hospital in Egypt.

The Health Ministry in Gaza identified the Palestinian as Yasser Atiya al-Masri, 41, from Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Also Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man, Bilal Awad Kabaha, 24, after shooting him with live rounds in the chest and thigh, and injured at least six, including three who suffered serious wounds, during protests that took place after many army jeeps invaded Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Earlier Wednesday, the army killed a Palestinian journalist, Ghofran Haroun Warasna, 31, after shooting her at the entrance of the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

 IMEMC, June 2, 2022

On Wednesday evening, Israeli occupation soldiers killed a young Palestinian man and injured at least six, including three who suffered serious wounds, during protests that took place after many army jeeps invaded Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said at least thirty military vehicles, including armored bulldozers, invaded the town before the soldiers stormed homes and occupied their rooftops to use them as firing posts and started to demolish a home.

The sources added that dozens of Palestinians protested the invasion and hurled stones at the soldiers who fired a barrage of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers shot Bilal Awad Kabaha, 24, with live rounds in the chest and thigh.

It added that the young man was rushed to Jenin governmental hospital in critical condition but died from his wounds.

The Health Ministry stated that the army shot six Palestinians with live rounds, including three who suffered life-threatening wounds after being shot in the neck, face, and abdomen.

During the invasion, the army fired many gas bombs at homes and buildings, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The invasion was conducted to demolish the home of Dia’ Hamarsha, 27, who was killed by an Israeli police officer, on March 30, 2022, after allegedly shooting to death five Israelis in a suburb of Tel Aviv.

Earlier Wednesday, the soldiers killed a Palestinian woman, Ghofran Haroun Warasna, 31, at the entrance of the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Also Wednesday, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said a young man, Yasser Atiya al-Masri, 41, from Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, died from serious wounds he suffered during the Israeli offensive on Gaza on May of last year, 2021.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Kill A Young Palestinian Woman Near Hebron”

 IMEMC, June 1, 2022

Updated: Israeli occupation soldiers killed, Wednesday morning, a Palestinian woman at the entrance of the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

The slain woman, a journalist identified as Ghofran Haroun Warasna, 31, from Shiokh al-Arroub village, northeast of Hebron.

Dr. Yousef Takrouri, the director of the Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron, said the woman passed away before the medics could rush her to the hospital, adding that the doctors tried to revive her, but she succumbed to her serious wounds.

Dr. Yousef added that the soldiers shot Ghofran with a live round in the left side of her chest, under the armpit, adding that the bullet went through her heart and exited from the right side of her chest.

He also said the soldiers did not allow anybody to reach her and left her bleeding on the ground for twenty minutes before eventually allowing the Palestinian medics to reach her.

The slain young woman studied media and journalism at Hebron University and was active in documenting the Israeli military violations. In addition, she worked for at least three Radio stations in Hebron.

A few days ago, Ghofran started a new job at Dream Radio in Hebron and was on her way to work.

Her cousin, Yousef Warasna, said that he was heading to work in his car with his son, and was informed she was shot and killed.

An eyewitness said the woman was walking in the area heading to her work and did not attempt to attack the soldiers when they shot her near their military tower.

Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh condemned the Israeli crime and demanded the International Community act on prosecuting Israel for its ongoing and escalating violations against the civilians.

“This organized terrorism is encouraged by the absence of sanctions and punitive measures against the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine,” he said, “The lack of punishment means another crime will be committed…”.

“The International Criminal Court sent forty investigators to Ukraine in less than two months,” Dr. Shtayyeh stated, “Yet, nothing has been done to prosecute Israel for its crimes that have been ongoing for decades.”

Updated From:  Soldiers Seriously Injure A Palestinian Woman In Hebron  Jun 1, 2022 at 09:15

Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured, Wednesday morning, a Palestinian woman at the entrance of the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

The woman, who is still yet to be officially identified, is from the Shiokh al-Arroub area, northeast of Hebron.

She was shot at the entrance of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie near the main entrance of the al-‘Arroub refugee camp.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics rushed to the scene, but the soldiers stopped them and prevented them from approaching her to render the needed first aid for at least twenty minutes.

The PRCS added that the young woman was shot with a live round in the chest and is in a critical condition at the Al-Ahli Palestinian Hospital in Hebron.

The Israeli army claimed the soldiers shot the woman when she allegedly attempted to stab them, adding that the soldiers “neutralized the woman.” No soldiers were hurt in the purported attack.

In incidents of alleged stabbings or attempted stabbings, the Israeli army does not allow the Palestinian medics to approach the wounded and instead calls for an Israeli ambulance, leaving the wounded bleeding to “secure the scene” and ensure they have the person in custody regardless of their condition.

However, the soldiers allowed the Palestinian medics to transfer her to a Palestinian hospital in Hebron city instead of taking her to an Israeli hospital, an issue that casts serious doubts on the military allegations.

Israeli Occupation Forces Kill Palestinian Child near Bethlehem

 MAY 28, 2022

Israeli occupation troops shot and killed a Palestinian child on Friday while invading the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem.

The child, Zaid Mohammad Ghneim, 15 years old, was shot by Israeli forces with three bullets in his chest and back and was taken to Al-Yamamah Hospital, south of Bethlehem, where he died of his wounds.

Local sources said that when the Israeli troops invaded the “Umm Rokba” area in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, they were met by local youth who began throwing stones at the soldiers to try to get them to leave their village.

Israeli troops responded with lethal force, shooting live ammunition at the children and teens, killing one, and wounding several others.

The killing of the 15-year-old child comes in the midst of an escalation of violence by Israeli forces, who have been invading Palestinian areas on a daily basis and firing live ammunition at unarmed Palestinians during their invasions.

Zaid was a ninth-grade student at Saeed Al-Aas Boys School in Bethlehem. He was the second student from that school to have been killed by Israeli forces in the past two months.

His father said that he was sitting with his son just hours before he was killed by the soldiers and added that Zaid was heading to his grandfather’s home when the soldiers shot him.

The Palestinian Minister of Education, Prof. Marwan Awartani condemned the killing of the student and called on human rights and international institutions defending children to put an end to these continuing Israeli crimes against students and education staff.

This killing of Zaid comes just two weeks after the brutal assassination of renowned Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh by Israeli forces in Jenin. Abu Akleh was killed execution-style by Israeli soldiers while standing with other journalists next to a wall, far from any clashes.

Seven Palestinian civilians, three of whom were children, were killed by Israeli forces during the month of May. Twenty-two Palestinian civilians were killed in the month of April, and over a thousand were wounded, as Israeli forces targeted Palestinian Muslims celebrating the Muslim Holy Month of Ramadan at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. During the holy month of fasting and praying, Israeli forces repeatedly invaded the mosque area and assaulted worshipers.

On Wednesday evening, a Palestinian man, who was seriously injured during the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip in May of 2021, died from his wounds at a hospital in Egypt.

The Health Ministry in Gaza identified the Palestinian as Yasser Atiya al-Masri, 41, from Dair El-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

In an official statement, the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said Yasser was one of its members.

The Brigades stated that Yasser was seriously injured when the army fired missiles at him and other fighters in Dair El-Balah during the Israeli offensive on the coastal region.

The Israeli offensive on Gaza (May 10 – May 21, 2021) led to the death of 240 Palestinians, including sixty-five children, thirty-nine women, and seventeen elders. The Israeli missiles and shells also caused 1900 injuries, including 560 children, 380 women, and ninety-one elders.

The Israeli bombardment displaced more than 75.000 Palestinians after the Israeli army and the air force targeted hundreds of homes, residential towers, commercial buildings, medical centers, and infrastructure.

The Israeli missiles destroyed three mosques and caused damage to forty mosques and one church, destroyed 1447 residential units, and caused partial damage to 13.000 and fifteen public buildings.

Also, the Israeli missiles and shells destroyed 205 homes and apartment buildings, thirty-three media facilities, seventy-five government-run buildings, including police stations and service centers, and 490 agricultural structures.

After an invasion lasting for about twelve hours, Israeli occupation soldiers detonated, at dawn Thursday, a Palestinian home in Ya’bad town, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

Media sources said more than thirty armored military vehicles invaded the town after surrounding and isolating it.

They added that the soldiers invaded and occupied the rooftops of many homes and deployed sharpshooters before Israeli Combat Engineering Corps personnel started wiring the family home of Dia’ Hamarsha, 27.

The soldiers forced the family out of the property and ordered all Palestinians in surrounding homes to leave the area, and demolished parts of Hamarsha’s home before detonating it.

The explosions also caused damage to a few surrounding homes before the army started firing live rounds at Palestinians who protested the attack.

Protests also took place after the army demolished the home, and the soldiers fired many live rounds at the Palestinians before withdrawing from the town.

Dia’ Hamarsha was killed by an Israeli police officer, on March 30, 2022, after allegedly shooting to death five Israelis in a suburb of Tel Aviv.

The home demolition policy is an illegal act of collective punishment that violates International Law, various international resolutions, and the Fourth Geneva Convention, to which Israel is a signatory and a constant violator.

Shortly after the army invaded the town to demolish the home, the soldiers killed a young man, Bilal Awad Kabaha, 24, and injured six others, including three who suffered serious wounds.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Detain And Interrogate A Child Near Her Home In Hebron

 IMEMC, June 2, 2022

On Wednesday evening, Israeli occupation soldiers detained and interrogated a Palestinian child in the yard of her home in the Shallala Street, in the center of Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Shadi Seder said many soldiers invaded and ransacked his home before abducting his daughter, Salwa, 12 years of age.

He added that the soldiers took his child to a military roadblock near Hebron Municipality while she was crying and screaming in fear as they dragged her away.

The Israeli army claimed the child “was carrying a knife” in the yard of her home.

The family denied the allegation, and the soldiers could not provide any evidence of the alleged knife before releasing the child.

The family is subject to constant violations by the soldiers and groups of fanatic illegal Israeli colonizers who constantly try to displace them and occupy their home.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Demolish Home Of Wheelchair-Bound Man For Fifth Time

 IMEMC, June 1, 2022

On Wednesday, Israeli occupation soldiers demolished the home of a wheelchair-bound Palestinian man and his family in the al-Isawiya town in occupied Jerusalem for the fifth time since 1999.

The soldiers invaded the town and surrounded the home of Hatem Abu Ryala before forcing the family out and demolishing the property.

Hatem said his home was first demolished in 1999 and added that he has been paying excessively high fines and fees to the City Council in occupied Jerusalem, trying to get all the necessary permits and documents.

He paid dozens of thousands of Shekels in fines and legal fees and has a case that was still pending, awaiting a decision from the court today, but the army went ahead anyway and demolished the property.

During the demolition of his home, the soldiers assaulted him and his family, fracturing the army of one of his children.

The 200 square/meter home provided shelter to the Palestinian and eight family members.

Hatem told the Palestine TV that the soldiers also previously destroyed his wheelchair ramp and the street leading to his home several times.

It is worth mentioning that when the soldiers demolished his home for the first time in the year 2009, the soldiers assaulted him and his family and caused him to fall from a high altitude, an issue that led to paralysis due to fractures in his spinal cord.

“They don’t want us here, in Jerusalem, but despite our suffering and my constant struggle and personal difficulties, we are here to stay,” Hatem said, “My family is scattered, displaced, and attacked. However, we have no other option. This is our home, our land….”

Illegal Israeli settlers beat herders, destroy crops south of Hebron

 IMEMC, June 1, 2022

HEBRON, Wednesday, June 01, 2022 (WAFA) –

Illegal Israeli settlers today beat Palestinian herders and destroyed their crops in the al-Jawaya community in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, according to a local activist.

Rateb Jabour said that settlers, under military protection, assaulted Palestinian herders in al-Jawaya, one of the communities making up Masafer Yatta, and prevented them from reaching their pastures at gunpoint.

The settlers also grazed their cattle on wheat and barley crops cultivated by Palestinian farmers in the area.

Recently, Israel’s top court gave the army the green light to forcibly expel some 1,300 Palestinians living in twelve villages or hamlets making up the Masafer Yatta area, which relies heavily on animal husbandry as the main source of livelihood, marking one of the largest expulsions carried out by the State of Israel in recent decades.

Located in Area C of the West Bank, under full Israeli administrative and military control, the area has been subjected to repeated Israeli violations by settlers and soldiers targeting their main source of living – livestock.

It has been designated as a closed Israeli military zone for training since the 1980s and is accordingly referred to as Firing Zone 918.

Israeli violations against the area include the demolition of animal barns, homes and residential structures. Issuance of construction permits by Israel to local Palestinians in the area is non-existent.
