Three Palestinian Killed, Scores Injured and Abducted by Israeli Occupation Soldiers

April 26, 2022

Editor's Note:

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Israeli Colonizers Shoot Three Palestinian Civilians Near Hebron

 APR 23, 2022

A group of armed Israeli paramilitary colonizers attacked Palestinian farmers Saturday evening while the farmers were cultivating their land in Surif village, north of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

According to the Palestinian Wafa News Agency, the Israeli colonizers ran toward the unarmed Palestinian farmers and began firing live ammunition with no provocation or confrontation. The attack took place in the Khallet Ali Aghneim neighborhood, in the Al-Qurainat area in the town of Surif.

Three Palestinians were wounded and were taken to the Hebron General Hospital, where they were treated for gunshot injuries.

One was hit by live bullets in the stomach, another in the leg, and the third was hit by live bullet shrapnel in the limbs. All of the injured were from the Ghunaimat family, and their injuries were described as moderate.

Following the attack by the colonizers, the Israeli military then invaded the area and attacked the Palestinians that had gathered to protest the shooting. The army began firing rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs and tear gas to disperse the crowd, causing dozens of cases of tear gas inhalation to be treated in the field.

The Israeli military took no action against the paramilitary colonial settlers, who are able to act with impunity in the West Bank in their attacks against Palestinian civilians – because the Israeli police do not have jurisdiction over the West Bank, and the Israeli military is authorized to suppress only the Palestinian population, not the population of Israeli colonizers who live on stolen land in the West Bank in violation of international law.

Israeli paramilitary colonizers frequently assault Palestinians but are not held accountable for their actions by any police or military authority.

The attacks are part of frequent Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermenfarmersshepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.

Israeli Troops Attack Christians Praying at Church of Holy Sepulchre

 APR 24, 2022

Thousands of Orthodox Christians from around the world gathered in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on Saturday for the ceremony of the Holy Fire in advance of the Orthodox Easter celebration on Sunday. They were attacked both outside and inside the Church by armed Israeli soldiers.

According to the Al Mayadeen news site, their correspondent in occupied Jerusalem reported that Israeli military forces, which were deployed throughout the Old City of Jerusalem on Satuday, prevented Christians from freely reaching the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, adding that one of the priests was attacked by the Israeli military while on his way to the church.

Despite the Israeli restrictions, thousands of Christians celebrated the ceremony of the Holy Fire at he Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The Church is revered by Christians worldwide as being constructed on the place where they believe that Jesus rose to heaven.

Prior to attacking the Christians on their way to Church, the soldiers closed the New Gate, which was supposed to be the passage for Christian pilgrims on their Easter march to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

The Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia in Al-Quds, Archbishop Atallah Hanna, told Al Mayadeen news reporters that the Israeli military turned the Jerusalem Old City into a military barracks, and that the violation of the sanctity of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is an unprecedented targeting of the Christian presence in the city.

Archbishop Hanna said that the Israeli forces’ decision to enter the Church of the Holy Sepulchre with their weapons is a clear provocation of Christians and worshipers, and that the soldiers attacked worshipers in an unprecedented scene during the most important Christian holidays.

He said, “This is a cry to the Christian churches in the East and the whole world to pay attention to the Christian presence in Occupied Al-Quds [Jerusalem”, and that “the occupation is sabotaging our holidays and religious occasions, and this is a crime committed in broad daylight against all Christians.”

Christians gathered outside Church of the Holy Sepulchre:

This attack by the Israeli military against Christians praying during the Easter weekend was not a spontaneous assault, but had been planned by the military – as evidenced by the report the previous day in the “Israel Hayom” newspaper in which representatives of the Christian community warned against the Israeli decision to impose restrictions on Christian worshipers entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

The Maan News Agency said six hundred colonizers, accompanied by soldiers and police officers, invaded the courtyards of the holy site in thirteen groups that came from the area of the al-Magharba Gate.

It is worth mentioning that the invasions in large numbers of soldiers, police, and the colonizers, started Sunday and were conducted by more than 1728 colonizers.

The Israeli army also issued orders barring all young Palestinian men, below the age of twenty-five, from entering the Mosque and its surrounding areas after installing many roadblocks.

Over the past four days, the Israeli army and the police injured more than two hundred Palestinians, including women and children, and abducted at least six hundred.

Just outside the Old City, near the Damascus Gate on Wednesday, Israeli troops assaulted a young Palestinian woman, according to the Times of Gaza, which published this video on their Twitter feed.
