Rise in Israeli Settler Terrorist Attacks on Palestinian Civilians, Encouraged by Netanyahu Occupation Rgime January 29, 2019 Editor's Note: While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis. Ashrawi: Israeli Occupation Government and Allies Responsible for Rise in Israeli Settler Terrorism January 28, 2019 4:19 AM IMEMC News & Agencies Member of the PLO Executive Committee, Dr. Hanan Ashrawi, on Saturday evening, said that the Israeli occupation government and its allies are responsible for rise in settler terrorism, referring to the fatal shooting by Jewish settlers of a Palestinian man in the village of al-Mughayer, near Ramallah, earlier on the day. Ashrawi condemned, on behalf of the PLO, “the heinous murder of Hamdi Nassan, 38, and the injury of 30 other Palestinian civilians at the hands of armed Israeli settler militias.” In a statement, Ashrawi said, “Under heavy protection from Israeli forces, these militias raided Al-Mughayer village near Ramallah this Saturday, terrorizing the defenseless residents and wreaking havoc in the isolated village.” “The political climate in Israel negates Palestinian rights and expresses objectionable racism against the Palestinian people. As such, the marked escalation of terror attacks by armed groups of Israeli settlers against Palestinian civilians is a natural outcome of the culture of hate and atmosphere of incitement and violence against Palestinians that this extremist Israeli government espouses and promotes,” said continued, according to the PNN. Ashrawi held the Israeli government wholly responsible for what she described as a heinous crime. “Governments that actively support this colonial regime and shield it from accountability also bear moral and criminal liability for the crimes committed by Israeli forces and settlers, who commit murder with impunity. Equally, states that choose to remain silent against this terror campaign must understand that in these times of injustice, silence is complicity.” “We grieve along with Hamdi Nassan’s bereaved wife and four children. Thirty other Al-Mughayer residents are receiving medical treatment for their injuries. We wish them a speedy and full recovery,” she concluded. UN Shocked at Terror Waged by Israeli Settlers January 28, 2019 4:15 AM IMEMC News & Agencies The United Nations has voiced “shock” at the “terror” carried out by
the illegal Israeli settlers that killed a Palestinian father of four,
in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Dozens of Extremist Settlers Break into Al-Aqsa Mosque January 28, 2019 4:00 AM IMEMC News & Agencies Dozens of illegal Israeli Jewish settlers, accompanied by Israeli security, forced their way into Jerusalem’s flashpoint Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday, according to local sources. WAFA correspondence said that more than 40 extremist Israeli settlers broke into the holy mosque in groups, under heavy protection from Israeli police. The settlers performed Talmudic rituals and prayers at the holy site. In late 2015, repeated incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by Jewish settlers and Israeli security personnel sparked months-long tensions in the occupied Palestinian territories. Settler Attacks Palestinians With Axe January 27, 2019 5:25 AM IMEMC News & Agencies A Palestinian father and his son were lightly injured on Saturday evening, after an illegal Israeli settler attacked them with an axe, near the village of Deir Estya, to the north of Salfit, occupied West Bank, according to a local source. Saeed Zaidan, mayor of the village, told WAFA that a Jewish settler from a nearby illegal settlement attacked Muqbil Fares, a local citizen, and his son, Yousif, while they working in a farm of their own near the village, and lightly injured them. There has been a noticeable increase in attacks by Jewish settlers on Palestinians and their property, over the past few days. Earlier today, a Palestinian was killed by settlers who attacked the village of al-Mughayer, near Ramallah. The Palestinian government has blamed the Israeli government of Benjamin Netanyahu for the nurturing a policy of immunity for settlers carrying out attacks on Palestinians. Illegal Israeli Settlers Kill One Palestinian, Injure 30, Near Ramallah January 26, 2019 6:39 PM IMEMC News Illegal Israeli paramilitary settlers killed, Saturday, one Palestinian, while soldiers and settlers injured at least 30 others, after they attempted to invade the northern part of the al-Mughayyir village, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and were intercepted by the villagers. The Palestinian Health Ministry said the Palestinian, identified as Hamdi Taleb Sa’ada Na’san, 38, was shot with a live round in his back, and the bullet was logged in the upper abdomen. The Palestinian was rushed to Palestine Medical Complex, in Ramallah, but died from his very serious wounds. Meanwhile, Israeli occupation soldiers also injured at least thirty other Palestinians, among them six who were shot with live fire, including one who suffered a very serious injury. One of the wounded Palestinians was shot with a live round in his mouth, before he was rushed to the Istishari hospital, in Ramallah, in a moderate-but-stable condition. After the colonists attempted to invade the village, dozens of Palestinians, from the nearby Abu Falah village, rushed to aid the residents of al-Mughayyir, and were also attacked by the soldiers and the colonialist settlers, who fired a barrage of live rounds at them, preventing them from entering the village. It is worth mentioning that Abu Na’san is a former political prisoner who was imprisoned by Israel for eight years. The slain Palestinian man is a married father of four children, the youngest of which was born less than a year ago. On Saturday at dawn, Israeli police officers shot and killed a Palestinian man, after the officers opened fire at his car in Bab al-‘Amoud (Damascus Gate) area, in occupied Jerusalem. The slain Palestinian has been identified as Riyad Mohammad Hammad Shamasneh, 37, from Qotna town, northwest of occupied East Jerusalem. In a statement, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas denounced the seriously escalating violations, carried out by Israeli soldiers and the illegal colonialist settlers, against the unarmed Palestinian civilians, their homes and lands. On Friday evening, the soldiers killed a Palestinian teen, identified as Ayman Ahmad Othman Hamed, 17, from Silwad town, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and wounded another Palestinian, in addition to moderately injuring a young man in ar-Reesan Mountain area, west of Ramallah. *** Share the link of this article with your facebook friendsFair Use Notice This site contains copyrighted material the
