A military source said that the Saudi-paid militias shelled al-Koei area in the district of the Durayhmi. The source added that the forces of the Saudi-led coalition bombed with medium leveled weapons the positions of the Yemeni Army and the Popular Committees East and North Hays. The Spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree said yesterday evening, that the Saudi-led coalition along with its mercenaries continue to violate the cease-fire agreed upon in Sweden referring to Hodeidah, where they stepped up their violations during the past 48 hours, committing more than 191 violations. The unexpected ending for Sudan at the hands of Yemeni army forces ! Dec 24, 2018, YemenExtra, Y.A Yemen’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement condemned Sudan for seeking to retain and even increase its troops in a Saudi Arabian-led coalition, while Sudanese officials and citizens expressed their anger, too. “The announcement by Sudan to send more soldiers to Yemen came during a meeting with the delegation of the Saudi Army, because Al-Bashir regime only deals with criminals of his likes,” said Mohammed Ali al-Houthi in his Twitter account on Wednesday. “It is an additional confirmation of the countries of the Aggression rejection and planning against any peace efforts,” he added. “The Sudanese regime is incapable of defending the legitimacy of its president Al-Bashir, who is wanted internationally for his terrorist connections and his crimes. Yet, Al-Bashir is to fight in Yemen to defend the decisions of a so called, international legitimacy,” Al-Houthi said. “Al-Bashir should not sell the dear Sudanese people with money. The Sudanese people are looking for a solution to the crisis of bread, oil and are fighting a struggle against the high commodity prices,” he also added. “The best thing Al-Bashir’s regime can do, is to allow democracy to take its course for a change,” he said. “Sudan is capable of producing great Politicians and experts who will help pull it out of its current situation,” he concluded his Tweet. Ansarullah formed the committee in 2015 to run Yemen’s administrative affairs after the former government resigned and its head, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, fled to Riyadh as he faced increasing popular discontent. Saudi Arabia led a number of countries, including Sudan, into a war on Yemen shortly after Hadi’s flight to restore the former regime by force. President of the Sudanese National Umma Party, Sadiq al-Mahdi, called on President Omar al-Bashir to accept change and listen to the demands of the protests that have been sweeping several Sudanese cities for several days. Sadiq Al-Mahdi said in a press conference in Khartoum on Saturday that Peaceful movements are legitimate and justified by the deterioration of living conditions, “referring to” the fall of 22 martyrs and the arrest of dozens of opponents”. “We support the peaceful expression and condemn the armed repression and appeal to the security forces not to oppress the citizens,” calling for “the conduct of the procession of a mosque in which all political and civil forces with the highest representatives to provide a memorandum to the presidency offer alternative to move from random to planning”, he said. The Sudanese opposition leader said that there are calls to be directed to the opposition to agree on the text of the memorandum and the date of the march,” stressing that “if the system was responsive and if it refuses to face the anger of the people and call for a general strike and the rest of the scenario of the intifada. Demonstrations took place on Saturday in the western Sudanese city of Al-Rahad. Protesters set fire to the headquarters of the ruling party, while Sudanese authorities warned against resorting to violence and sabotage during the protests. This comes as the Director of the Sudanese Security and Intelligence, Salah Qosh, the existence of a living hardship suffered by the citizen, stressing the right of citizens to refuse, and express it, pointing at the same time that will not be tolerated with the users of violence and vandalism. Sudan’s Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Awad Mohammed bin Oaf had on Tuesday told a visiting Saudi military delegation in Khartoum that his country intended to keep up its cooperation with the Riyadh-led coalition and even enhance its contribution. Thousands have died and Yemen has been pushed to the edge of an all-out famine as a result of the war. On Thursday, the Houthis and the representatives of the former Yemeni government agreed during UN-brokered talks in Sweden to a truce in Yemen’s western province of Hudaydah. Sudan’s announcement came on the same day as the ceasefire took force. Sudan witnessed demonstrations in different areas due to high costs of living and the scarcity of goods. It was confronted with the suppression of police forces using tear gas to disperse demonstrators. Eight demonstrators were killed in the eastern city of Gedaref. In May, 2018 , Saudi Arabia forced to lure Sudan with more money to abandon its intention to withdraw from participating in the coalition against Yemen, after popular pressure due to heavy losses of the Sudanese forces in Yemen. According to Sudanese Alyoumaltali newspaper, a Saudi military commander explained the reason, behind the Sudanese mercenaries desire not to continue their participation in the fighting in Yemen, to be the delay of their salaries, by Riyadh, for the bast three months. The newspaper pointed out that the Saudi military commander promised that this delay will not happen again and that “all insured soldiers and families of killed ones will be compensated with any required aids. Soldiers should also be provided all needed equipment to support their mission.” In March 2015, the US -backed –Saudi-led coalition started a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect. Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures. More than 2,200 others have died of cholera, and the crisis has triggered what the United Nations has described as the world’s worst humanitarian disaster. However, Saudi Arabia relies heavily on the US in its brutal war on Yemen. Washington has deployed a commando force on the Arab kingdom’s border with Yemen to help destroy arms belonging to Yemen’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement. Washington has also provided logistical support and aerial refueling. *** Share the link of this article with your facebook friendsFair Use Notice This site contains copyrighted material the
