21 Syrians Killed by Russian-Regime Bombadment on Idlib, 38,000 Civilians Displaced in one week

The Russian – Turkish play has been still continuing in what is known as “de-escalation” zone stretched from the north-eastern mountains of Latakia, to the north-western outskirts of Aleppo city passing by both Hama and Idlib countryside, where the Russian guarantor’s warplanes returned to escalate their bombardment on the area especially Idlib, while the Turkish guarantor pays its attention to the area of North-east Syria where it is busy with the agreements with the Russians, at the time when it simply watches the massacres and military operations by the Russians and regime and in Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored escalated displacement movement in the past week as a result of the heavy aerial and ground shelling with hundreds of raids, barrel bombs and rocket and artillery shells, in addition to the hit-and-run clashes south-east of Idlib, where more than 38000 persons have been forced to displace from the eastern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city (the villages from Um Jalal to Maasaran and from Maarrat Al-Nu’man to the vicinity of Abu Al-Duhur), in addition to towns and villages in Jabal Al-Zawiya south of Idlib city, and villages in the east of Saraqib town in the eastern sector of Idlib countryside.

According to sources of the Syrian Observatory; some of the displaced people headed to Azaz, Al-Bab and Afrin in the northern and north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, some others went to Idlib city and the towns of Armanaz, Sarmin, Salqin, Sarmada, Al-Dana, Atma, Maarrat Misrin and camps at the border with Iskenderun north of Idlib, amid poor humanitarian conditions, as many of them are staying in the open in the shadow of the entry of winter, SOHR published in late August that the number of people displaced due to the military operations and heavy aerial and ground bombardment, reached to 715000 citizens since April 2019.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored cautious calm prevailing “Putin – Erdogan” area since after midnight of Saturday – Sunday and until now, interrupted by the fall of shells fired by the regime forces after midnight on places in Sahal, Al-Burj, Um Al-Tinah, Tahtaya, Um Jalal, Al-Tah, Harran and Al-Barisah in Idlib countryside.

Meanwhile, the regime and Russian warplanes have been absent from the area’s airspace for more than 9 hours, in usual absence during the night hours, after they killed 21 Syrian citizens yesterday through their heavy bombardment on Idlib province.

SOHR documented yesterday the death of 21 citizens including 8 children, they are: 9 persons including 3 children and 2 women who were killed in Russian bombardment on Balyon, 5 citizens including 3 children and a woman who were killed as a result of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Abditta village in the southern countryside of Idlib, 4 citizens including 2 women and a child were killed in Russian bombardment on Al-Bara town south of Idlib, , a child was killed due to bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Bajghas village east of Idlib, and a man and a woman who were killed due to barrel bombs dropped by the regime’s helicopters on Tell Mannas south of Idlib and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of more than 43 injured cases, some of them are in serious conditions.

In conjunction with more than 80 airstrikes .. 21 casualties are the outcome of today’s bombardment on Idlib countryside

4 Russian warplanes took turns in bomb Jabal Al-Dwaylah near Kafr Takharim city in the western countryside of Idlib, which is considered a military zone of “Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham” and the jihadi factions, where they targeted the area with 15 raids without information about the amount of casualties.

While the number of casualties rose to 21, citizens including 8 children, as well as the injury of 43 others due to the bombardment by the regime and Russian warplanes on Idlib province since morning.

In connection to this, areas in the southern and eastern countryside of Idlib, and parts of the southern countryside of Aleppo, are witnessing sporadic clashes accompanied by artillery and rocket shelling.

Also it rose to 28, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters today on Kafr Nubl, Bzabour, Al-Bara, Ihsim, Hass, Hazarin, Abditta, Kafr Sajna, Kafr Shalaya, Tell Mannas, Maarshourin and the vicinity of Jarjnaz in Idlib countryside, and the area of Kabani in Latakia countryside.

Meanwhile, the Russian warplanes targeted the “de-escalation” zone with about 37 raids through which they targeted Al-Bara, Al-Halba, Al-Burayj, Iblin, Balshoun and Baylon in the southern countryside of Idlib.

While the regime’s warplanes carried out 22 raids on Kafr Mous, Hazarin, Kharbat Barnan, Farawan, Al-Barsah and the Abandoned Battalion in the southern and eastern countryside of Idlib.

Unidentified drones target positions of the Iranian forces and their loyal militias at the outskirts of Al-Bokamal city and kill at least 5 members of them

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored aerial bombardment targeted positions of the Iranian forces and their loyal militias in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

In the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory; drones whose identity is not known so far, targeted positions of the Iranian forces and their loyal militias yesterday evening, in the are of Al-Hezam Al-Akhdar at the outskirts of Al-Bokamal city east of Deir Ezzor.

The targeting resulted in outbreak of fires in the targeted locations and killed at least 5 members of the pro-Iran militias.

On November 18, SOHR published that a drone targeted on Sunday evening, a vehicle of the “Popular Mobilization” that is loyal to the regime forces at the outskirts of Al-Bokamal city east of Deir Ezzor near the Syrian – Iraqi border.

The targeting resulting in destroying the vehicle and killing all members in it, while the identity of the drone is not known so far.
