On Apr 7, 2019, YemenExtra, M.A.

The Ministry of Public Health and Population declared that at least 11 women were killed, most of them were female students while 39 were injured, as a result of the hostile raid that targeted Shaheed al-Ra’i school and houses in the Sawaan neighborhood within the capital of Sanaa.

The official spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Youssef al-Hazzari, stated in a statement that the brutal crime raised panic and fear among the female students of the girls’ school, which led to an escalation in the number of injuries, in addition to the destruction and the damage of dozens of homes adjacent to the school and the injury of a number of women.

Dr. al-Hazzari denounced the brutal crime committed by the Saudi-led coalition, backed by the US and UK, against the civilians and students of educational schools, stressing that it is a war crime added to the thousands of previous crimes since the beginning of the Saudi war on Yemen.

On World Health Day, April 7, which carries the slogan “Health for All”, the Saudi-led coalition celebrated the day in its own kind of way, which is through shedding the blood of children and women. The spokesman called on the international community to hold its responsibility in this regard.

In the context, the media affiliated with the Saudi-UAE-led coalition recognized their bloody crime today in the Sanaa neighborhood of the capital Sanaa, where the channel described the targeting of a girls school as a “military police camp” in a desperate attempt to evade the crime and to mislead public opinion.

Moreover, the official spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier Yahya Saree affirmed the deaths and the injury of many civilians today, including female students by raids conducted by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition on residential areas in Sa’wan district, north of the capital.

Saree quickly condemned the Saudi massacre on his Facebook page in the strongest terms for targeting a residential area in the Sa’wan area, stressing to the Saudi-led coalition that this crime will not pass without a response.

On Apr 6, 2019, YemenExtra, M.A.

The Saudi-led coalition has continued along with its paid-militias on Friday to carry out air raids and bombardments on a number of provinces, causing casualties among the civilians and damage to public and private property. Also, the US-backed coalition continued the violation of the cease-fire agreement in Hodeidah.

In the coastal province of Hodeidah, two children were wounded by a bomb explosion from the remnants of the coalition in a farm in al-Menqem, in the Durayhmi district.

Moreover, the Saudi/UAE forces targeted with more than 20 artillery shells different areas in the Jabliah area located in the Tuhita district. In addition, it fired nine artillery shells at al-Fayza located in the same district.

The mercenaries affiliated with the Saudi-UAE aggression used artillery shells in targeting al-Dhibiani, al-Shaab city, 50th Street and city Max. They also targeted with artillery shells the Faculty of Engineering, al Ittihad Hotel and al-Wahyan Mosque.

Heavy and medium machine guns, in conjunction with artillery shells, bombarded the mobile intersection, al-Wahin Mosque and Medical College. It also targeted the area of the July 7 residential area with machine guns.

The aggressive coalition led by Saudi Arabia and backed by the US and UK also violated the agreement by hovering over the city of Hodeidah and its districts by warplanes and espionage drones.

In the Hajjah province, the Saudi-led coalition conducted an air raid on the district of Mustbaa that targeted a civilian’ car.

The US is the number one supplier of arms to the Saudi-UAE war and as a matter of fact, it has been participating in this brutal war since day one till now. According to the US DoD, the US role in the war is aerial targeting assistance to the Saudis, intelligence sharing and in a preset time, midflight aerial refueling.
