Separately, two Palestinian men were taken from the Jenin checkpoint later in the day for allegedly possessing weapons. Early Monday morning, eyewitnesses reported Israeli jeeps and

vehicles patrolling through the alleyways of the Jenin refugee camp.
No one was arrested, but the troops then proceeded into the city of
Jenin, where they ransacked a number of houses and abducted Jamal Mahdi,
taking him to an undisclosed location. IOF soldiers kidnap two youths for allegedly planning resistance attack [ 17/01/2012 - 09:56 AM ] JENIN, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped two Palestinian young men near the Salem army base to the north of Jenin on Monday claiming they were planning an attack on the base. The website of Hebrew daily Yediot Ahronot claimed that the two youths were arrested with 12 locally made explosive devices, a pistol, and one hundred bullets in their possession. It said that the military police kidnapped the youths before embarking on their attack on the base, which includes a military court. IOF soldiers kidnapped four young men from Balata refugee camp a week ago in the same place with locally made explosive devices after also claiming they were planning an attack on the army base. IOF troops also rounded up two brothers in Yatta village, Al-Khalil, on Monday evening after storming their shops. Sources told the PIC reporter that the soldiers stormed and wreaked havoc on many shops in the village before taking away the two brothers. In new wave of kidnapping, IOF soldiers round up 15 Palestinians [ 16/01/2012 - 03:52 PM ] QALQILIA, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up 15 Palestinians, mostly teens, in Qalqilia and Al-Khalil provinces at dawn Monday, local sources reported. Locals said that the IOF troops stormed the village of Azun, to the east of Qalqilia, and kidnapped 12 young men. They pointed out that the soldiers detained a recently released prisoner for few hours and beat him up before releasing him after which he was carried to hospital. In Al-Khalil, the soldiers detained two Palestinians in Yatta village after storming a number of houses in the early morning hours. A third young man was taken from his home after storming it in downtown Al-Khalil, local sources said, adding that the soldiers detained two children for a few hours. IOF soldiers storm home of Hamas leader, interrogate him [ 16/01/2012 - 04:22 PM ] JENIN, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the home of Hamas leader in Jenin Ibrahim Jabr and searched it before an intelligence officer interrogated him. Shaikh Jabr told the PIC reporter that the soldiers broke into his home at dawn Monday and questioned him. He said that the Israeli intelligence officers have been routinely storming his home in line with their policy of harassing liberated prisoners. Jabr, who was held in Israeli occupation jails for 15 separate times, was released less than a year ago after 12 years in detention. The Palestinian Authority dismissed the Sheikh from the Jenin Zakat (Alms) committee less than a month ago. He worked in the committee ever since its formation. IOF soldiers also at dawn Monday arrested a Palestinian man in Jenin and confiscated his car, local sources said, adding that Jamal Al-Mahdi was taken from his home blindfolded and handcuffed after ransacking it.
