Israeli MK: “Jordan Is the Palestinian State”

Member of the so-called Israeli parliament (Knesset) of the National Union fundamentalist party in Israel, Aryeh Eldad, stated that the “solution” for the conflict is establishing a Palestinian state in Jordan, and to consider the Hashemite Kingdom as the future Palestinian State.

Eldad made his statements during a Knesset session on Tuesday evening and said that “Jordan is the Palestinian State”.

He also said that “anyone who attempts to take parts of Israel to create a Palestinian state will be bringing death to country”.

Arab member of Knesset, Talab El-Sane’a of the United Arab List, stated that the statements of Eldad are extreme and harm the Israeli-Jordanian relations.

El-Sane’a added that such statements are based on deformed and racist visions for the future of the region.

Also, member of Knesset Dov Hanin of the Hadash party said that Eldad’s lost touch with reality, and that such statements are meant to create tension and provocation.
