Illegal Israeli Settlers Start New Illegal Settlement South of Bethlehem [ 10/10/2010 - 11:48 AM ] BETHLEHEM, (PIC)-- Dozens of illegal Israeli settlers on Sunday morning started to build a new settlement outpost on Palestinian lands in Al-Khader village, south of Bethlehem in the West Bank. Palestinian eyewitnesses said that Israeli settlers came to the area with bulldozers and embarked on digging the lands. Settlers started immediately after the alleged freeze on settlement activities that expired two weeks ago to expand their settlement outposts and seize Palestinian lands for construction in the West Bank. In a separate incident, a number of Palestinian farmers in Qalqiliya and Salfit cities reported that all olive fruits in their fields behind the segregation wall were stolen at night by Israeli settlers. An Israeli organization called rabbis for human rights said that Palestinian villagers arrived at their fields Sunday morning near one of the Israeli settlement and were shocked to see their olive trees without fruits, affirming that Israeli settlers from Hifat Gilad settlement are believed to have stolen the crops.
