IOF troops advance in northern Gaza amid intensive shelling

GAZA, (PIC)--

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) advanced into northern Gaza Strip on Thursday morning amidst intensive firing, eyewitnesses reported.

They said that IOF soldiers mounting ten armored vehicles and tanks suddenly advanced in the northern Beit Hanun town.

The forces targeted Palestinian workers who collect gravel in the area but no casualties were reported.

GAZA, (PIC)--

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shelled a motor bicycle east of Gaza city on Wednesday night but no casualties were reported, medical sources said.

Adham Abu Salmiya, the coordinator of medical services in the Strip, told the PIC that the shelling did not cause any injuries in lines of Palestinian citizens present in the area.

The motor bike was targeted in Zaitun suburb, east of Gaza city, he elaborated.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Fire Missile At Motorcycle Rider in Gaza

Palestinian sources reported Wednesday that the Israeli occupation army fired a missile at a motor cycle rider in Al-Zaitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City; damage was reported, no injuries.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli occupation soldiers stationed at the border near Al-Zaitoun opened fire at a number of residents before firing an artillery shell at a motorcycle driving in the neighborhood.

Also, the Israeli pane was seen flying over the area an issue that caused panic among the residents fearing further attacks.

Later in the day, Palestinian fighters exchanged fire with the Israeli occupation soldiers stationed nearby.

Israeli, Palestinian Forces Trade Fire in Gaza

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) --

Israeli occupation forces exchanged gunfire with Palestinian resistance fighters east of Gaza City on Wednesday evening, local sources reported.

The incident took place in along the border in the Zaytoun neighborhood, they added.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said the exchange of fire took place in the same spot as an earlier incident reported by medics, where a worker said to have been collecting scrap materials near the border with Israel was shot and injured.

During the earlier incident, the spokeswoman said, soldiers shot into the air at a group of men wheeling a cart toward the border and the group dispersed.

Hours later, she continued, shots were fired toward Israeli occupation forces from the same area, and fire was returned. She said there was no hit identified, and noted no soldiers were injured in the exchange.

No injuries were reported by medics in Gaza from the second incident, but a a worker from the group fired on earlier in the day was moderately injured in the leg. He was transferred to the Kamal Udwan Hospital for treatment, the official added.
