Israeli occupation soldiers invade Palestinian village after Israeli Settlers attack family

On Thursday morning, in Tiqua village, near Bethlehem, a Palestinian family was attacked by illegal Israeli settlers, which led to a clash between the residents of the village and Israeli occupation forces.

According to Ma'an News, the incident happened when a Palestinian mother taking her two children, age 10 and 11, to school, was attacked by Israeli settlers, who threw stones at the family.

The three civilians were injured during the attack, which was followed by an Israeli occupation forces invasion of the town. Villagers angered by the incident were seen burning tires and throwing stones at the invading Israeli troops. According to the Israeli military, a crowd of around 50 Palestinians gathered to confront the invading troops.

Local witnesses said that when the Israeli forces raided the village, they fired tear gas and rubber-coated steel bullets at the residents.

Thirty Students Wounded After Inhaling Gas Fired By The Army Near Hebron

On Thursday morning, thirty Palestinian students were treated for the effects of tear gas inhalation after Israeli soldiers fired tear gas bombs at them in the village of Beit Ummar near the northern part of Hebron They were commemorating the late Palestinian president, Yasser Arafat.

Approximately 300 school students in Beit Ummar participated in the commemoration holding Palestinian flags and photos for the late president. The students marched towards the main entrance of the village where the Israeli army intercepted their procession and fired tear gas.

Clouds of tear gas spread to nearby areas, including a kindergarten and a school for girls. Several students under the age of 14 received treatment by field medics, while others suffered panic attacks; they were moved to local medical centers for treatment.
