Israeli Occupation Soldiers Kill Palestinian in Gaza for Approaching the Border Fence

The Israeli occupation army reported that soldiers observed a Palestinian approaching the fence near the Karni Crossing, east of the Gaza Strip, and shot him dead, the Israeli Radio reported.

The army initially said that the Palestinian was wounded, while the Israeli Radio said that at least one armed Palestinian was killed during armed clashes with the soldiers.

So far, the death report was not confirmed by Palestinian sources, while Israel’s Yedioth Aharonoth reported that soldiers at a military tower observed a Palestinian approaching the border fence near the Karni Crossing, and opened fire at him.

The report also stated that soldiers then advanced into the area and launched a search campaign.

According to Yedioth Aharonoth, the Palestinian was wounded during clashes with the army.
