Illegal Israeli settlers uproot centuries-old Palestinian olive trees in Dair Nidham [ 26/01/2010 - 10:57 AM ] RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Illegal Israeli settlers cut off 15 olive trees in Palestinian land in Dair Nidham village to the north west of Ramallah while Israeli occupation forces (IOF) abducted 7 Palestinians overnight. Local sources said that tens of settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Halmish attacked the field of Jamil Abdul Qader and cut off the trees. They have been routinely assaulting neighboring fields in the village in a bid to terrorize inhabitants and annex their lands to the settlement. Meanwhile, the IOF troops detained two Palestinians at dawn Tuesday in the West Bank at the pretext they were "wanted". The IOFs had rounded up five Palestinians in Al-Khalil (Hebron) on
