Illegal Israeli Settlers Attack Bourin, Peace Activists in Hebron Injuring 3, Israeli Occupation Soldiers Injure 2 Palestinians, Kidnap 11 Three international peace activists injured in illegal Israeli settlers' attack in Hebron [ 24/01/2010 - 07:16 PM ] AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- Three international solidarity peace activists were injured on Sunday after illegal Israeli settlers assaulted them and threw stones at them east of Al-Khalil (Hebron) city. A source in the youth against settlement society told the PIC that the masked settlers attacked a peaceful rally protesting the expansion of a settlement outpost in the area. He added that three activists were hurt including a woman who was carried to a hospital in occupied Jerusalem. Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) blocked another rally in Yatta, south of Al-Khalil, that was meant to protest the Israeli declaration of a vast area of a land "a closed military zone". The IOF soldiers forced a number of shepherds and foreign activists out of the area and prevented journalist from covering the incident. Israeli occupation soldiers kidnap 11 Palestinians [ 25/01/2010 - 11:02 AM ] RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnap eleven Palestinians at the early hours of Monday including nine in Ramallah, local sources reported. Hebrew daily Yediot Ahronot said that the nine were wanted for interrogation, but did not mention whether they were affiliated with any faction. IOFs detained two others in Arrabe village, south of Jenin, and stormed the villages of Qabatia, Tobas and Tamun at dawn Monday but no arrests were reported. Local sources said that the soldiers wreaked havoc in the homes of both detainees and forced their families to the open cold weather. IOG orders two brothers to stop building their homes [ 24/01/2010 - 07:11 PM ] AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation government (IOG) ordered two Palestinian brothers in Al-Khalil on Sunday to stop building their homes at the pretext they were building without permits. Local sources told the PIC that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) handed the two brothers notifications to the effect, adding that their homes were in the northeastern suburb of the city and fell within its boundaries. The notification said that construction should halt until 28/1/2010 when the Israeli civil administration decides on the matter. Statistics indicate that the IOG had delivered notifications to 164 citizens in Al-Khalil district that their homes would be razed and orders to stop building. Meanwhile, illegal Israeli settlers stormed the main street in Ramallah near the settlement of Halmish and threw stones at the citizens and passing vehicles, locals reported on Sunday. The IOF troops on Saturday night stormed a number of villages in Al-Khalil and Bethlehem districts and battered a number of citizens one of whom was hospitalized.
