Israeli Occupation Forces Injure 4 Palestinian Civilians, Kidnap 15, Raid Palestinian Neighborhoods in East Jerusalem

The Israeli occupation forces kidnap two civilians and conducts a training exercise in the West Bank

Two Palestinian civilians were kidnapped by Israeli occupation soldiers, while other troops conducted a training exercise in the West Bank on Tuesday.

According to Palestinian sources two men were taken by the troops during house searches in a southern West Bank village on Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile Israeli troops conducted an Arial insertion exercise near Palestinian villages next to the northern West Bank city of Jenin early Tuesday morning.

Witnesses said that troops were deployed around the village’s farm lands, and later soldiers erected a checkpoint to search cars, no arrests were reported.

The Israeli occupation forces injure three and kidnap them in northern Gaza Strip

Three Palestinians were reported injured and kidnapped by Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday at the northern Gaza Strip town of Biet Lahyia.

A number of Israeli tanks stormed the evacuated settlement of Doghet and opened fire at Palestinian workers injuring three of them, witnesses reported.

Troops then detained the three men and took them to an unknown location.

Workers said that one of the three injured men may have been killed by the army fire; the Israeli military issued no report about the incident.

Doghet settlement was evacuated during the Israeli disengagement plan from the Gaza Strip in 2005. Palestinian workers use this area to salvage scrap metal and other materials for sale.

Last week Israeli occupation forces kidnapped 10 workers from the same area. Some of the workers were injured, local sources reported.

The Israeli Occupation Forces Kidnap 12 Palestinian Civilians During Invasions in the West Bank

Twelve Palestinian civilians were kidnapped by Israeli occupation forces, on Monday, during invasions targeting a number of West Bank communities.

Local sources reported invasions in the cities of Nablus, were seven people were detained by troops, Ramallah city, where three were kidnapped, and two from Hebron city.

The Israeli occupation army radio announced that all those detained were on its “wanted list” and were moved to detention centers for questioning.

Palestinian sources said the Israeli army invades West Bank communities on a daily basis and detain civilians.

The Israeli occupation forces conducted at least 22 military incursions into Palestinian communities in the West Bank last week. During those attacks troops detained 92 Palestinian civilians, including 7 children.

Child Wounded By Israeli Fire In Central Gaza

Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Sunday evening that a Palestinian child suffered moderate wounds after the Israeli occupation army bombarded a number of homes in the Juhr al-Deek area, in central Gaza.
Medical sources identified the child, Yousef al-Atrash, 14. He was at home when the army opened fire at the area.

The border areas are the scene of repeated Israeli shelling and gun fire, with the army preventing residents from approaching any area that is close to the border fence.

The Israeli Occupation Forces & Police Raid Palestinian Areas in Jerusalem to Enforce Taxes

The Israeli occupation police forces, along with Israeli occupation soldiers, stormed a number of Palestinian neighborhoods, on Monday, to enforce resident to bay taxes.

At Shu'afat camp for Palestinian refugees near Jerusalem’s old city, shop owner closed their shops in protest of the raid. Shop owners say that the police enforce unreal taxes and fines on people, even if they have the needed documents issued by the state of Israel.

The Residents added that the state of Israel does not provide the Palestinian residents of Jerusalem with services that mach the amount of taxes they have to pay.

Other Palestinian neighborhoods were targeted today especially those located near Jerusalem's old city, local media reported.

In one case tax police fined a bakery owner 40,540 US dollars for having raw materials that came from nearby West Bank cities, local sources reported.

Residents say this is an ongoing campaign since last week. Last Monday clashes erupted during a police raid at the Shu'afat camp. Officers arrested 60 Palestinians and injured 8 others. Among those arrested were medical staff who were aiding injured residents.
