Palestinian Fighters Survive Israeli Assassination Attempt In Gaza Sunday February 14, 2010 02:25 by Saed Bannoura - IMEMC News A group of Palestinian fighters survived on Saturday at night an Israeli assassination attempt targeting them in Al-Zaitoun neighborhood, south east of Gaza City. Two residents were wounded in an explosion in the same area. Local sources reported that Israeli occupation soldiers, stationed
near the border fence with Gaza, fired a shell at a group of fighters in
the Cars Market, east of Al-Zaitoun neighborhood. The fighters survived
the attack unharmed. Resistance fighters survive IOF shelling, 3 West Bankers detained [ 14/02/2010 - 12:03 PM ] GAZA, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired an artillery shell at a group of Palestinian resistance fighters east of Gaza city but its members survived unharmed. Reliable sources reported that the IOF monitor moves of resistance fighters near to the border fence between Gaza Strip and Palestine occupied in 1948 and shoot to kill anyone approaching. In the West Bank, IOF troops rounded up three Palestinians in Bethlehem and Jenin districts at dawn Sunday, the Hebrew radio reported. It added that the "wanted" citizens were taken to the nearest interrogation centers.
