20 Illegal Israeli Settlers Savagely Assault 75-Year-Old Palestinian Farmer, Settler Shoots Teenager Settlers assault old farmer, Palestinian attacks soldier in same district [ 10/02/2010 - 05:59 PM ] SALFIT, (PIC)-- Illegal Israeli settlers savagely assaulted the 75-year-old Palestinian farmer Khader Mansour while tending to his land west of Deir Estiya village, Salfit district, on Wednesday, locals reported. They added that around 20 settlers attacked the old farmer who is now in a bad condition, noting that settlers in the same area had burnt a mosque a few weeks ago and are daily damaging Palestinian cultivated land. In the same district of Salfit, a Palestinian man has reportedly assaulted and killed an Israeli soldier east of the city on Wednesday. Media sources noted that the attacker was hit with a car while trying to flee the scene and was later arrested.
