Israeli Occupation Soldiers Injure 2 Palestinians in Northern Gaza, Kidnap 7 in the West Bank Two Palestinians Wounded by IOF Bullets in Northern Gaza [ 10/12/2010 - 11:23 AM ] GAZA, (PIC)-- Two Palestinians were wounded Friday morning to the north of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip when IOF troops opened fire towards cultivated lands in the area. Adham Abu Salmiya, the media coordinator of the medical services in the Strip, told the PIC that IOF troops opened fire towards fields and neighbourhoods to the north of Beit Lahia wounding a farmer and a firewood collector, both in their early twenties. He added that that the victims were taken to Kamal Odwan suffering from medium wounds. Two brothers from Beit Lahia town were wounded on Thursday morning when IOF troops opened fire towards them while collecting gravel. There are nearly daily such incidents in the area where poor workers collecting gravel, wood, or farming their fields are targeted by trigger-happy IOF soldiers.
