Anti siege committee asks Palestinians in Europe to intensify media efforts [ 04/05/2009 - 11:10 AM ] GAZA, (PIC)-- The higher committee against the siege has highly appreciated the Palestinians living in Europe for their insistence on their right of return to their homeland Palestine and asked them to intensify media efforts to counter the Zionist propaganda campaigns. Ahmed Al-Najjar, the committee's spokesman, said in a press release on Monday that the insistence of Palestinians living in Europe on the right of return give additional strength to the besieged people of Gaza. He asked the western countries, especially the Europeans, to stand by the right of millions of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes from which they were forcibly evicted and to abide by the UN resolutions in this respect. Najjar asked Palestinians living outside the occupied homeland to double their efforts in backing of their brothers in occupied Palestine especially through the media to refute Zionist allegations and to form pressure groups to explain the real image of the Palestinians' suffering under Zionist occupation. He urged all freedom loving peoples of the world to organize relief convoys to the Gaza Strip to alleviate the suffering of its inhabitants.
