Israeli Terrorist Forces Raid School, TV Station, Houses, Install Checkpoints, Kidnap Palestinian Civilians in the West Bank

Israeli forces raid school, TV station, houses in Nablus

Israeli terrorist forces invaded the West Bank city of Nablus early on Tuesday, raided a school and a local television station, and kidnapped two people.

Witnesses told Ma’an that more than 30 Israeli military vehicles entered the Old City and the surrounding neighborhoods at 12:30am.

The soldiers destroyed the front doors of stores on An-Naser Street and other areas. The soldiers also raided the Thafer Al-Masri School near Ras Al-Ein in Nablus.

Israeli terrorist troops stormed the Asia TV station and imprisoned the director of the station, Ayman Al-Qadiri, and two employees in one room. Al-Qadiri said more than 25 soldiers also raided his home, which is in the same building as the television studio, and detained his family along with him and the employees until the soldiers left in the morning.

Al-Qadiri said that no equipment was confiscated, but that the soldiers switched off all the broadcasting equipment, and used the studio as a lookout position to monitor the nearby school as they were searching it.

Meanwhile, local sources told Ma’an Israeli terrorist forces stormed house of Imad Qandil in the old city and set off an explosive device in the kitchen, claiming that there was a tunnel under the house.

Israeli terrorist forces detained 18-year-old Samer Imad Qandil and his 20-year-old brother Ghazi. Soldiers stormed dozens of houses in the area.

Nablus Governor Jamal Muhaisin condemned the Israeli terrorist raid, saying it showed Israel’s intention to maintain dominance over Nablus and interfere with the Palestinian Authority’s to reassert its control in the city.

Muhaisin urged President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Salam Fayyad to pressure Israel to stop its attacks on Nablus.

Israeli terrorist soldiers install checkpoint south of Nablus

 Israeli terrorist troops erected a checkpoint on Tuesday morning at an intersection at the village of Beita, south of the West Bank city of Nablus.

Witnesses reported to Ma’an that soldiers are stopping and searching Palestinians’ cars, before they reach another checkpoint farther down the road, in the village of Za’tara.

Israeli forces kidnap two teens from Jayous

Israeli terrorist troops kidnapped two teenagers from the West Bank village of Jayous, near the city of Qalqilia early on Thursday.

Local sources told Ma’an that several Israeli vehicles invaded Jayyous at dawn and raided several houses, arresting Sa’ed Abdel Hafiz Khaled, 16, and Mu’nes Abdullah Khaled, 18.

Last Wednesday Israeli terrorist soldiers imposed a 15-hour curfew on the village while they interrogated dozens of people in a school. The town’s mayor says the raids are a response to weekly peaceful demonstrations that are held in the village in response to the construction of the Israeli separation wall.

Israeli terrorist troops kidnap retired teacher near Hebron

Israeli terrorist troops kidnapped a Palestinian man during an overnight raid in the West Bank village of Edna, west of the city of Hebron on Thursday.

Palestinian security sources said that Israeli terrorist troops detained Hatem Mahmoud Al-Kharuf and also vandalized the interior of his house. Al-Kharuf is a retired teacher at a local school.

Israeli terrorist troops also raided houses in the nearby village of Sa’ir. Attorney Mustafa Ahmad Jabarin, a resident of the village said that Israeli soldiers raided his house, interrogating each of his five brothers and summoning them for further questioning by the Israeli intelligence.

Jabarin said Israeli terrorist forces also ripped up the pavement outside his house, and raided three other houses belonging to his relatives.

Israeli terrorist troops kidnap Palestinian man in Jenin

Israeli terrorist troops on Tuesday morning kidnapped a young Palestinian man in the West Bank city of Jenin.

According to Palestinian security sources, Israeli terrorist troops raided the home of Zahi Abdel Karim As-Sa’di, in the Jabal Abu Thahir area. As-Sa’di’s son, Abdel Karim, 22, was detained.

Witnesses said Israeli terrorist troops surrounded the house at 1:30am, ordering its inhabitents to evacuate into the street. The soldiers then raided the house and seized Abdel Karim, leaving the interior of the house in shambles.

Israeli terrorist forces raid Nablus-area village

Israeli terrorist troops raided the West Bank village of Deir Sharaf, west of the city of Nablus at midnight on Thursday.

Sources in the village told Ma’an that Israeli troops handed out documents summoning eight people for interrogation by the Israeli intelligence services at the Huwwara military base on Wednesday.

Omar Issa, Iyad Tabary, Rami Tabary, Imad Faqha, Nassar Faqha and Diya’ Faqha and others were summoned.

No arrests were reported.
