AFEH: IOA stealing historical Islamic stones

GAZA, (PIC)--

The Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage (AFEH) has charged the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) with taking away historical Islamic stones in trucks to unknown destinations.

The AFEH in a statement on Tuesday said that the IOA was launching large-scale excavations in the Umayyad Palaces area south of the Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

It added that the diggings, which extend tens of meters, were posing threats to the Aqsa and the holy city.
