GAZA, (PIC)--

The minister of Awakaf (endowments) in the government of Ismail Haniya in Gaza has denounced the illegal Jewish settlers who stormed the Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday.

Dr. Taleb Abu Sha'ar in a press statement asked the Arab and Islamic countries to act immediately to check the Jewish schemes against the Aqsa.

He championed reactivating the issue of occupied Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque on the international level in a bid to expose plots being hatched against them.

The minister warned that the judaization attempts of Jerusalem were on the rise, pointing to the escalation in storming holy sites on the part of Jewish settlers.

Three Jewish groups each numbering between 10 to 12 individuals strolled inside the holy Aqsa Mosque's plazas escorted by occupation police at an early hour on Sunday.

Qaryut village appeals for an end to settlement activity on its land

RAMALLAH, (PIC)--

The villagers of Qaryut village, located between Ramallah and Nablus districts, have appealed to human rights organizations to pressure the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) into halting confiscation of their land.

Villagers speaking to the PIC reporter on Sunday said that a nearby Israeli settlement was eating up their land to build a road leading to the settlement.

They said that three illegal Israeli settlements near the village were seizing their land amid total media absence about is going on in their village.

Settlers assault citizens and farmers every now and then without any apparent reason just to scare them out of their land, the villagers said, adding that their village was not granted suitable attention and was now almost completely isolated due to the growing number of settlements surrounding it.
