Arab League: It is no longer acceptable to ignore Israeli nuclear threats [ 16/04/2009 - 08:56 AM ] CAIRO, (PIC)-- The Arab League has opined that the call for nuclear disarmament could not be achieved without all countries signing the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. A League statement was issued on Wednesday evening commenting on US president Barack Obama's call for international cooperation to boost the treaty. The Arab League said that it was no longer acceptable to keep on ignoring the dangers posed by the Israeli nuclear weapons on the Middle East and Israel's refusal to sign the treaty or to allow the international atomic energy agency to inspect its nuclear installations.
