Jewish Fascist Terrorists Attempt to Assassinate Professor, Ze'ev Sternhell, for his Outspoken Criticism of Illegal Israeli Settlement Activities in the West Bank

Dichter: “Attack on Sternhell, Jewish terror”

Israeli Internal Security Minister, Avi Dichter, said that the pipe bomb attack that targeted Professor Ze’ev Sternhell was apparently carried out by Jewish terrorists and takes Israel back to the time when former Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin, was assassinated by a Jewish terrorist.

The statements of Dichter came on Thursday evening at a police ceremony in Netanya, north of Tel Aviv.

“We should view these explosives planted at night, as explosives meant to kill”, he stated, “We will not rest until we apprehend those terrorists who placed the explosives”.

On Thursday at night, at least 20 protesters, including lecturers and students of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, gathered in front of the house of professor Sternhell.

They said that they came to protest against Fascism and the attempts to silence the Israeli ideological Left.

They held banners stating; “We will not be intimidated”, “Fascism won’t pass”.

Israeli Ynet News reported that Dr. Nicole Hochner, a colleague of Sternhell, said that she organized the protest as she wanted the colleagues and students of the professor to speak out against the attack.

She added that the Israeli society must wake up and understand the seriousness of this attack, and that the people in Israel learned this from the murder of Yitzhak Rabin.

Professor Menachem Brinker arrived from Tel Aviv to join the protestors. He said that he came because there is a growing level of violence carried out by the settlers (who settle illegally on grabbed Palestinian lands) against any person who speaks against them.
