Palestinian Killed, 2 Injured, 9 Kidnapped by Israeli Occupation Forces and Settlers

Palestinian killed by settlers gunfire near Ramallah

Palestinian medical sources in Ramallah city, north of Jerusalem, stated on Monday evening that one Palestinian resident was shot and killed by Israeli setters gunfire near Ramallah.

The sources identified the slain resident as Ali Mohammad Kharroub, 22, from Haris village, near the West Bank city of Salfit.

Palestinian security sources reported that extremist settlers of Shiloh settlement opened fire at Kharroub as he was walking on a sand road, near Tomor Ayya village, north of Ramallah.

The sources described the assault as “a cold blooded crime” adding that no clashes were reported in the area and that the settlers had no reason to open fire at the resident.

Meanwhile, Israeli sources claimed that Kharroub was shot and killed after he attempted to attack settlers north of Ramallah.

After the resident was killed, extremist settlers attacked dozens of Palestinian vehicles on the main road linking between Nablus and Qalqilia, especially near Qadumim settlement.

Israeli media sources claimed that the Palestinian attacked two Israeli hitchhikers and attempted to stab them with a 20-cm knife, but one of the Israelis pulled out his personal weapon and killed the Palestinian man.

Israeli medical sources reported no injuries among the settlers and that the Palestinian man was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Israeli army launched a probe into the incident, but the police spokesperson said that the shooting was carried out in self defense, Israeli online daily, Haaretz, reported.

Israeli occupation army wounds two Palestinians in southern Gaza

Two Palestinians have been reportedly moderately wounded early on Monday as the Israeli soldiers, stationed to the south of Gaza Strip, opened fire at them.

Medics confirmed that the two have been moderately wounded and that they have been admitted to hospital for treatment.

Israeli media sources reported that the Israeli occupation army spotted and wound two Palestinians, suspected to be ' planting roadside bombs' near the border line with Israel in the southern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation army killed on Saturday two Palestinians in northern Gaza, Israel media said were suspected of planting explosive devices along the border lines.

The Israeli occupation army has been involved in a series of deadly attacks on the Gaza Strip, over the past four months, the latest of which was early in March, when the army killed more than 120 Palestinians including 40 children in northern Gaza.

The Israeli occupation army attacks several parts of the West Bank kidnapping eight civilians

Eight Palestinian civilians were kidnapped by the Israeli army on Monday during Israeli army pre-dawn invasions targeting several parts of the West Bank.

In the southern part of the West Bank, Israeli occupation troops invaded and searched homes in the village of al-Shiyukh, Halul and Yatta located near Hebron City.

Local sources reported that during the attack on the three villages, the army kidnapped three civilians, identified as Mussa Al-Halika, 35, the Director of Al Shiyukh Charitable Society; Mohamed Rashid, the Director of Halul Charitable Society, and Mohamed Nawaj'ah, 30, from Yatta village.

In the central part of the West Bank, the Israeli occupation army attacked the village of Beit Reeam, near the city of Ramallah. Eyewitnesses said that troops surrounded the house of the al-Reemawi family, and forced the family out before searching and ransacking the house and kidnapping 30 year old Hussam al-Reemawi.

Meanwhile in the northern part of the West Bank, four Palestinians civilians were kidnapped when Israeli occupation troops attacked the village of Qiffin near Tulkarem.

Local sources reported that soldiers stormed and searched a number of homes in the village before kidnapping Jihad Hursha, 17, Wadee Hursha, 13, Euhab Hursha, 16, and Louai Ammar, 16.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap Palestinian teenager in Ramallah

Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a Palestinian teenager at a checkpoint near the West Bank city of Ramallah on Monday.

Local sources said that Israeli troops stopped 18-year-old Ahmad Qaddura in his car at a flying checkpoint, and arrested him.

Qaddura is from the town of Kafr Qalil, near the city of Nablus.

In addition to more than 500 permanent checkpoints, gates, and other roadblocks in the West Bank, Israeli troops frequently impose "flying checkpoints" at will on roads throughout the West Bank.
