China to send aid to the Palestinian Authority

On Saturday, secretary to the Palestinian President Al-Tayeb Abdul Raheem signed an aid agreement in the central West Bank city of Ramallah with the Chinese ambassador to the PA, Yang-Wo Kuh.

China pledged in the agreement to fund police vehicles and a crime-investigation lab in addition to communication equipment to be used by the Palestinian Presidential guards.

In a press conference in the presidential compound in Ramallah, Abdull Raheem, thanked China and its people for the aid and welcomed the important support China is providing for the Palestinian Authority.  The Chinese ambassador stated that China supports the Palestinian nation and their cause.
