50 Palestinians Killed on Saturday, Including 35 
		Civilians, 11 
		Children, 150 wounded, in Israeli Occupation Forces Terrorist Attacks on 
		Northern Gaza Strip
		 
		Aljazeera tv reported from Gaza at 1:00 pm ET, March 
		1, 2008, that 50 Palestinians were killed in Jabalia, Gaza Strip, by the 
		Israeli terrorist attacks on Saturday. More than 150 were injured, many 
		of them in critical conditions, indicating the death toll will be 
		increasing from today's Israeli massacre of Palestinians in northern 
		Gaza Strip.
		The overwhelming majority of the killed and injured 
		were civilians, including 11 children. Only 15 of the killed were 
		Palestinian resistance fighters.
		IOTF bloodbath claims the lives of 46 
		Palestinians, including 11 children

		GAZA, (PIC)-- 
		The Israeli occupation terrorist forces (IOTF) ongoing 
		barbaric bloodbath east of Jabalia in northern Gaza claimed the lives of 
		46 Palestinians, including 11 children, and wounded at least 160 others 
		amidst unprecedented world silence.
		Medical and security sources said that three citizens 
		were killed in an Israeli missile raid east of Gaza city Saturday 
		evening.
		IOF Apache helicopters an hour 
		earlier fired two missiles at another civilian home killing another 
		three citizens and wounding 13 in the powerful explosions that leveled 
		the three-storey building.
		Four citizens were also killed in an IOF air raid on 
		an area near a mosque in Jabalia town including a child, medical sources 
		reported.
		They added that six others were killed east of Jabalia 
		Saturday afternoon including two members of the Qassam Brigades.
		In the morning and until noon Saturday 30 Palestinians 
		were killed in the IOF massacre that started with an IOF incursion east 
		of Jabalia before dawn Saturday.
		The Palestinian center for human rights said that all 
		civilians killed in the Israeli savage raid were murdered inside their 
		homes.

		Death toll reaches 37 as the army continues 
		its military offensive on northern Gaza

		As the Israeli occupation terrorist army continued its 
		military offensive targeting Jabalia refugee camp in the northern part 
		of the Gaza Strip Palestinian medical sources reported that the death 
		toll in the Gaza Strip stood at 37 by Saturday midday.
		
		
		Dr. Mo'awiyeh Hassanain, of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the 
		coastal region, said that 37Palestinian have been killed by Israeli fire 
		since the Israeli military ground offensive started on Saturday at dawn. 
		He added that 11 
		of those killed are resistance fighters, while the other 
		26 are civilians 
		including 5 
		children, the youngest of whom was just 2 days old. 
		
		Hassanain said that so far today 120 Palestinian have been injured, the 
		majority of whom are civilians. 
		
		According to the Gaza Ministry of Health the death toll in Gaza due to 
		Israeli attacks since last Sunday now stands at 81, including 19 
		children. 
		
		Ongoing operation: 
		
		Jihad Al-Khalidi, a resident of Jabalyia whose home is under attack by 
		Israeli tanks told IMEMC "we have no phones or electricity, the tanks 
		are firing at us. We are unable to move. The water is also cut off." 
		
		Al-Khalidi said that soldiers are using roof troop as shot out posts and 
		firing at anything that move. He added that tanks are shelling civilian 
		homes. 
		
		The Israeli army started its military offensive at around 1:00 am on 
		Saturday, when at least 30 tanks and bulldozers supported by a battalion 
		of infantry troops attacked the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern 
		part of the Gaza Strip. 
		
		Lacking fuel and medicine: 
		
		Dr. Bassam Abu Wardah, the Director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in the 
		northern Gaza Strip told IMEMC "we do not know what we will do if the 
		operation continues. We are suffering from lack of medicine and fuel."
		
		
		Israel has imposed a total siege on the Gaza Strip since June 2007, 
		leaving the 1.5 million Palestinians living Gaza lacking fuel and 
		medicine 
		
		Attacking media and medical crews:
		
		Medical crews reported that they came under fire as they tried to 
		evacuate the injured from Jabalia refugee camp. On Saturday midday 
		Israeli tanks targeted two media crews as they were covering the 
		invasion. 
		
		Hiba Abu Shamalih, the Al-Jazeera Arabic correspondent in the Gaza 
		Strip, stated that she came under fire along with her camera crew as 
		they were covering the events in Gaza this morning. 
		
		Politically 
		
		Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas stated on Saturday midday that he 
		condemned the military offensive and considered it a threat to peace.
		
		
		Meanwhile Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak, told reporters that his 
		army will continue attacking the Gaza Strip until the Palestinian 
		resistance fighters in Gaza stop firing homemade shells at the nearby 
		Israeli areas. 
		
		The Israeli government announced on Friday that its army has completed 
		preparations for a wide-scale offensive against Gaza. 
		
		The Palestinian resistance 
		
		Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation terrorist army announced that 
		Palestinian resistance fighters managed to kill two invading soldiers 
		and destroyed a military vehicle on Saturday. 
		
		Palestinian resistance groups fired 13 homemade shells at nearby Israeli 
		areas on Saturday morning, injuring three civilians in the southern 
		Israeli town of Sderot that borders the Gaza Strip. 
		
		The Al Qassam brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, said that 
		8 of its fighters were killed on Saturday during armed clashes with the 
		Israeli army. Meanwhile the Al Quds brigades said that three fighter 
		from their group were also killed in clashes on Saturday morning.

		Palestinian medical sources reported that at least 26 Palestinians 
		killed and 62 injured during the on going Israeli military operation 
		targeting Jabalyia refugee camp in the northern part of the Gaza strip 
		on Saturday. 
		
		Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli troops and tanks invaded Jabalyia and 
		opened fire at resident homes; meanwhile Israeli helicopters fire 
		missiles at civilians homes and cars.
		
		Palestinian medics said that the Israeli troops opened fire at them 
		while they were evicting the injured.
		
		The Al-Qassam brigades the armed wing of the rolling Hamas party said 
		that seven of its men were killed when Israeli helicopters fired 
		missiles at resistance fighters groups defending Jabaliya.
		
		Meanwhile the Al Qudes brigades said that one of its resistance fighters 
		was killed by the Israeli army fire in Jabaliya.
		
		Talking to IMEMC, Dr. Bassam Abu Wardah, the director of the Kamal Adwan 
		hospital in Gaza city said that most of those killed and injured were 
		civilians. Abu Wardah said" we could hear the shelling from the 
		hospital."
		
		The military operation started on Saturday at dawn, eyewitnesses said 
		that army is continuing the shelling of resident homes.
		
		Israeli media sources said that at least 12 home made shells were fired 
		from the Gaza strip into nearby southern Israeli town of Sederot and 
		injured three Israelis. Meanwhile the Israeli army reported that five 
		soldiers were injured during the ongoing attack on the Jabalyia refugee 
		camp.
		
		This brings the number of those killed by Israeli forces in the Gaza 
		Strip since early Tuesday to 55 Palestinians, including women, children, 
		men and members of the armed resistance. At least 150 Palestinians are 
		injured, most of them children. Several are in critical condition, as 
		reported by official medical sources.
		
		This deadly attack comes shortly after Israeli minister of Defense Ehud 
		Barak announced that preparations are complete for a large-scale 
		invasion of the Gaza Strip.

		26 Palestinians, including 4 children, and more then 70 injured in early 
		morning air strikes on the northern Gaza Strip city of Jabalia, as 
		Israel carries out its promise of a holocaust on Gaza.
		
		Medical sources reported that early this morning Israeli occupation 
		terrorist forces fired a missile directly into a home, killing a 12 year 
		old girl, Yasmin Saafi and her little brother Iyad Mohammad Abu Safi.
		
		In a similar air attack, Israeli forces killed 45 year old Bassam Obaid 
		and his son Mohammad. A baby girl also died late last night of injuries 
		sustained in an attack on the northern Gaza Strip.
		
		Al-Quds Brigade, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, announced that 
		Mohammad Saleh was killed in another Israeli attack that targeted 
		operatives of the movement.
		
		Two other people were injured. All were rushed to Kamal Adwan Hospital 
		in the northern Strip at dawn. From Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades, two 
		people were killed.
		
		Israeli forces targeted a car in Jabalia in which Iyad Ashram was 
		killed. Israeli forces also killed Abdullah Faraj, a member of the armed 
		resistance wing who was fighting back. 
		
		34 Palestinians dead, more than 100 wounded, 2 Israeli 
		soldiers dead, five wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza

		34 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli 
		occupation terrorist forces attacks on the Gaza Strip on since dawn 
		Saturday, including five children 
		and more than 100 wounded in Israeli shelling on the northern Gaza 
		Strip.
		
		Two Israeli soldiers have also been killed and five injured as Israeli 
		forces step up its attacks on the coastal region.
		
		In the latest attack Abdul Rahman Shahab the son of Hamas leader Muhamad 
		Shahab was killed. 
		
		Two sisters 13-year-old Salwa Zedan and 17-year-old Samah Zedan were 
		killed in an Israeli attack near their house east of Jabalia. 
		
		Two resistance fighters from the Al-Qassam Brigades Mu'tasem Abed Rabbo 
		and Abdullah Abu Shahira were killed in clashes with Israeli forces. 
		
		Israeli Special Forces backed by tanks penetrated the area east of 
		Jabalia in the eastern Gaza Strip under the cover of Israeli warplanes 
		that showered the region with rockets and missiles early on Saturday 
		morning. 
		
		Medical sources confirmed that houses were bomabarded with air and 
		ground fire.
		
		According to Dr Mu'awiya Hassanain, director of emergency and ambulance 
		services in the Palestinian health ministry, the dead and injured were 
		transferred to Kamal Adwan Hospital.
		
		Fat'hi Thabet and Tala'at Dardouna were the first to be killed in the 
		Israeli attack. Less than an hour later Ibrahim Al-Zain and Sa'id Al-Hasheim 
		died after being hit by Israeli artillery shells near Al-Zawiyah in the 
		eastern area of the Jabaliya camp. Eyewitnesses reported that Hussain 
		Al-Batsh was also killed. 
		
		According to medical sources, a missile fell on the house of Abu Shebak 
		family, killing 12-year-old Jacqueline Abu Shebak and her brother Iyad 
		Mohammed Abu Shebak, along with 45-year-old Bassam Obaid and his son 
		Muhammad. Muhammad Al-Jammal and Abed Faraj were killed in another 
		missile attack. They are reported to be affiliated with Hamas' Al-Qassam 
		Brigades. 
		
		On Friday an Al-Qassam Brigades commander was killed in an Israeli 
		airstrike on a car in Jabalia. 
		
		The Al-Qassam Brigades told Ma'an that "Iyad Al-Ashram a commander in 
		the Al-Qassam Brigades died when a missile targeted his car in Al-Zamo 
		area of Jabaliya." 
		
		Two Israeli occupation soldiers were killed and five others were wounded in clashes 
		between Palestinian resistance factions and the Israeli occupation army 
		east of Jabaliya. 
		
		Israeli sources reported that two of the soldiers are in serious 
		conditions. They were air-lifted by helicopter to the Soroka Hospital in 
		Be'er Al-Saba'a. 
		
		Al-Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility for targeting an Israeli 
		Terrorist Special Forces unit in a house east of the Jabaliya camp with two rocket 
		propelled grenades. The brigades claim there were casualties and planes 
		were seen evacuating the wounded from the scene. 
		
		Al-Quds Brigades claimed responsibility for launching two rocket 
		propelled grenades at a group of soldiers inside the Dardouna family's 
		home in east Jabalia. 
		
		Moreover, five Palestinian resistance fighters were wounded as they 
		launched projectiles at the Israeli town of Asqalan on Saturday. 
		
		Israeli occupation sources confirmed that five Israeli citizens were 
		slightly injured when a missile landed on a house in the city of 
		Asqalan.
		
		According to Israeli occupation military sources, 18 rockets have landed 
		in the western Naqab and Asqalan since dawn on Saturday.
