Qassam fighters survive Israeli missile attack during incursion in Beit Lahia

GAZA, (PIC)--

A group of Al-Qassam fighters survived an Israeli ground-to-ground missile attack shortly after a large number of IOF troops reinforced by Israeli occupation forces tanks and armored vehicles advanced into Beit Lahia city, northern Gaza Strip, at midnight Sunday.

Palestinian local sources told the PIC reporter that 25 Israeli tanks and armored personnel carriers in addition to bulldozers reinforced by aerial cover invaded the city amid heavy gunfire, adding that a number of Israeli occupation soldiers broke into and ransacked Palestinian houses during the incursion.

The popular resistance committees warned that the Israeli occupation forces would pay dearly if it thought of venturing into Gaza.

In a press statement received by the PIC, Abu Mujahed, the spokesman for the committees, underlined that the resistance is the only option which makes victories and bring dignity for the Palestinian people.

Palestinian resistance groups shells areas near the Gaza Strip

Three Palestinian resistance groups based in the Gaza Strip fired home-made shells at Israeli areas located near the coastal region on Monday. 

The shelling targeted the Israeli occupation army tanks located in the northern Gaza strip, and military camp near the Mintar crossing at the Gaza Israeli borders. The groups said that the shelling comes in response to the Israeli occupation army attacks against the Palestinians in both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Israeli sources reported the shelling but did not report any losses.

The Israeli occupation army attacks Atteel village near Tulkarem city

Israeli occupation troops invaded the village of Atteel located near the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem on Monday morning.

Local sources said that around 20 Israeli army vehicles stormed the village; the sources added that troops searched and ransacked a number of homes there in addition to stopping local cars and searching them. Witnesses to the invasion said that troops attacked Na'el Riyadd who works at a local mechanic shop during their search in the village. Riyadh sustained broses, witnesses added.

The Israeli army invades areas in Hebron

The Israeli army invaded several areas located in the southern district and handed out military orders for local residents on Monday.

Invasions were reported in the village of Dura, Al-Fouwar refugee camp, and the city of Hebron. Local sources said that during the invasions Israeli troops searched and ransacked dozens of homes, not kidnapping was reported. Witnesses said that soldiers gave military orders to a number of men for interviews with the Israeli secret service office at a nearby Israeli military camp.

Three Palestinian civilians were injured on Sunday when Israeli settlers attacked a house in the village of Susia located near Hebron in the southern part of the West Bank.

Eyewitnesses said that a group of armed settlers form a nearby settlement attacked the on Sunday evening the house of Al-Nawa'ajah family, during the attack settlers injured Khalil, 70 years old his wife Tammam, 68, and their cousin Yousuf, 32. The witnesses added that settlers used their rifles and baseball bats to attack the family, medical sources said the three had wounds in the face and limps. Tammam was transported to a hospital in Israeli after sustaining critical wounds medics said.

Seven injured at Na'aleen protest near Ramallah

At least 300 Palestinian villagers from Na'aleen, located near the central West Bank city of Ramallah supported by international and Israeli peace activists protest the Israeli illegal wall planed to be built on the village land.

At 6:30 am a group of farmers went to their lands that is set to be taken by the army for the wall, Israeli troops attacked them and kidnapped Ibraheem Amira a local activist. The farmers were planning to stop the Israeli bulldozers from destroying their lands.

At around 9:00 am on Sunday villagers, internationals and Israelis supporters marched form the village towards the land of the farmers to aid those protecting their lands. The Israeli army attacked them using tear gas, sound bombs and rubber-coated steal bullets.

Seven civilians, including an Israeli journalist known to villagers by the name of Shakhof, were injured, two other were critically injured sources told IMEMC. Salah Al-Khawajah, form the local popular committee against the wall, told IMEMC that the protesters used mirrors to reflect sun into the nearby settlement built on the village land before the soldiers attacked the protest. The soldiers also kidnapped Ahed Al-Khawajah, a local activist and Nier an Israeli supporter.
