ministry source said. The source added "three bodies were found in al-Shaab, al-Bunook and Husseiniya neighborhoods in Baghdad's eastern side of Rasafa, while the third body was found in al-Sidiya neighborhood, western Baghdad." "The bodies found bore signs of gunshot wounds to different parts of

Ninewa, Jan 23, (VOI) - Iraqi army killed seven gunmen (Iraqi fighters resisting US forces and US-led Iraqi forces) on Wednesday in armed clashes that broke out in eastern Mosul, a military source said. “The clashes that broke out between army forces and unknown gunmen in al-Risala district, east Mosul, on Wednesday, left seven gunmen killed,” Brig, Hajji Mahir, the commander of army 4th division second brigade, told Aswat al-Iraq - Voices of Iraq - (VOI). He added “the army forces destroyed two of gunmen’s vehicles and seized amounts of weapons and ammunitions.” Mosul, the capital of Ninewa province, lies 402 km north of Baghdad. Baghdad, Jan 24, (VOI) - Police patrols found the body of the dean of Baghdad University's Dental College in western Baghdad on Wednesday, a security source said. Police patrols found the body of Munthar Muhrej Radhi, who headed the country's premier Dental College, in Shalchiya district, western Baghdad,” the police source, who requested anonymity, told Aswat al-Iraq -Voices of Iraq - (VOI). He added “the body, riddled with multiple gunshots, was found in the front of his car’s driving stern in Shalchiya, near Buratha mosque in Baghdad.” Gunmen have regularly targeted Iraq's academic community, killing

country. U.S. army says killed 15 gunmen
in Diala Baghdad, Jan 23, (VOI) – Coalition forces killed 15 gunmen (Iraqi fighters resisting US forces and US-led Iraqi forces) during operations in Diala province, the U.S. army said on Wednesday. "As Coalition forces arrived in the target area, they observed
several individuals reach for their weapons. Coalition forces fired
warning shots in an attempt to get the men to cease their actions, but
they did not comply. Perceiving hostile intent from the armed men,
Coalition forces engaged, killing two, to include the wanted
individual," the statement noted. Gunmen kill, injure 5 army soldiers in Baghdad Baghdad, Jan 23, (VOI)- Three Iraqi army
soldiers were killed and two more were injured on Wednesday by unknown
gunmen (Iraqi fighters resisting US forces and US-led Iraqi forces) in
central Baghdad, a police source said. "The attack took place near the finance ministry on Mohammad al-Qassem
highway," he explained. He did not provide further details.
