Israeli Occupation Forces Invade Several Palestinian Cities, Injuring, Beating, and Kidnapping Civilians December 15, 2008 Qassam fighters survive IOF shelling in violation of lull [ 15/12/2008 - 09:31 AM ] A group of Qassam fighters, the armed wing of Hamas Movement, survived an Israeli occupation forces aerial bombing of their position east of Gaza city at a late hour on Sunday in violation of the calm agreement. Local sources told PIC reporter that an Israeli reconnaissance planes fired two missiles at an advanced observation position for the Qassam fighters but they escaped unharmed. They said that the planes fired one missile then shortly afterwards fired another to liquidate the resistance fighters but they managed to flee the area. The Israeli raid comes only four days before end of the calm agreement with the Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip, which expires on 19/12.
